Hello i realy hope that you are going to read this, in my country there is similar way to cook an egg. You put vinegar and salt in water, when it start boiling funn part begin. Break an egg in kitchen spoon and slowly put it in water and keep it like that until egg is done then you rise it and bon appetit . You need an deep pot about 1L or biger, about 0,5 L of water, spoon of vinegar and salt. Egg will be white and taste is beetwen fry and boield egg, wery tasty.

Actually for Chinese New Year or special occasions, my family does that. It’s okay but I think freezing the egg would produce a better result as the yolk would be hard if you just straight up boiled it. Perhaps deep frying a poached egg would be cool, but a hard boiled egg isn’t that interesting.

Deep frying an egg and still get runny yolk is an art. Super crispy edge, soft white, watery yolk. Top it on white rice with a table spoon of soy sauce and 2 table spoon of the oil used to fry the egg
