I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ALL WEEK!!! ugh I love this song, but Tommy, it's not about a relationship :( :( It's like a song to the band's fans, saying that we are in this together and that he does the best he can but he struggles too. "and I know that we can sing together to avoid falling apart", it's saying that the band puts all they have into the music they make both as a release for themselves and a release for their fans. It's about depression more than anything. OH and Iota is amazing, I am so glad she picked this song!!
I see this song being in reference to his fans, and how they message him about their struggles. He gives everything of himself to the music, and needs his fans to keep going, pushing through their troubles. Another song similar is 'Don't Lean On Me'. Seen them in concert 9 times over the past 11 years (I live in Australia, their home country). They are amazing live and the crowd goes crazy. May be a bit loud for most though....
Listened to this song at least a hundred times, never really actually LISTENED to what they were saying. Really is a song for the fans, every word makes so much sense from what I’ve heard from Joel in interviews talking about his depression and how he feels when fans open up about their depression to him and how his music has helped them
One of my favorite bands. Saw them 2 weeks ago for the first time and it was amazing. They were the spotlight of the show the atmosphere and energy ..Definitely will see them again but hearing their music live was special. I have a poster of the lyrics of this song signed by Joel🖤 (lead vocals)
Cant wait until you get into the world of metal. Look I love peep and underground rap in general, But bands just seem to go deeper and darker with some really intense subjects.
Thank you so much for listening to my all time favorite song. This song has helped me with the emotions and realization of my own reflection of life and how I'm not the only one to feel that way.
If you want another softer one by them I've been pushing for Aloneliness from them off their newest album. Can't wait to see you break down more from them. Glad Joel has this outlet.
@@LyssieLyrical they did all fucked up. Not sure if it is on UA-cam tho. If love to see fever dream and drag the lake too. Or pretty much all their songs🤣
@jake from state farm, yes! I would love to see so many from Amity! Another one I'd really like for him to react to is Motionless in White! Like Holding onto Smoke, headache, Masterpiece etc...
Thankyou Iota, for requesting this song. The words of the corus are tattood onto my left sholder as these words are the crutch i use to walk every day. This song comes off my request list i guess Tom. Amazing Reaction and Amazing Community. Edit: Also Tom for the concert bring ear plugs and your good!
@jesseboughton3361 I know this is really late, but the story goes that The Amity Afflictions guitarist Troy, said he wrote Give It All himself, but the truth is that Troy ripped off the intro from another band called My Ticket Home's song called Atlas(if you listen to them side by side you can really hear how they're blatantly exactly alike). Because of this, Joel and Ahren kicked Troy out of the band, and they chose to retire Give It All from their setlist around late 2014. Joel was very very reluctant to drop the song because he said multiple times that Give It All was his personal favorite song off of Let The Ocean Take Me because he had a personal connection to the song and viewed it as his way of saying thank you to all the fans for sticking with them through all the bad times. He even went as far to say that if he had to pick one TAA song to perform over and over again, Give It All would be his decision easily
Seeing Amity Live was Euphoric and them playing EVERY song that I love by them Deaths hand, Don't Lean On Me, The Weigh Down, Pittsburg, and OMG.... Father's Son. Still hands down BEST concert I been too I can't wait to see them again sadly all my friends aren't fans other then my friend in England who introduced me to them and he is not here to go see them with me. The Amity Affliction is the only band who helped me with my anxiety and depression and I will always love them for that they truly saved me in my time of need.

Love The Amity Affliction!
I really feel this is for their fans, for the audience. But that's my take on it 😅 maybe I'm wrong
They can’t play this song live due to copyright reasons.

More Amity!!!
Hello sir!
Could you perhaps react to the Lorna Shore - Pain Remains triology?
It's a set of three songs each more powerful than the other.
You should totally do "Martin and Gina" by Polo G ❤❤
Can you react to toxic by boywithuke
Do “G herbo - Outside looking in”
That’s what I’m going to request on the Thursday live stream. Stop in to the live stream and we can try to get Tom to react to that! 🙏🏼
I think you should do some sadboyprolific. He talks about some dark shit, I recommend you do it on "dear momma"
SOOOO HAPPY TO SEE MORE AMITY THANK YOU!! Happy holidays to you and the fam!
Nice one
