Love the review. Wicked Spoon is one of my favs. I'm thinking that the meat in the lo mein is lop cheong, Chinese pork sausage, as they appear round, like cutting a sausage. Unusual to see that.

It's so good! I think possibly the most consistent large buffet in Vegas.

Ate there year 1/2 ago or 2 forgot but it’s not like it used to be Ratings on yelp 3.7 and I agree with that I’m culinary arts student and best buffet is definitely the Bachanal Caesar’s regardless I still enjoy watching your reviews Chef
Thanks for commenting! We have a review of Bacchanal and the reason we didn't feel it's the best right now is due to it's inconsistency. Our first visit was not good. The second visit it was fantastic. We've been to WIcked Spoon many times and it's consistently very good. Bacchanal has the variety, hands down, but maybe they reach too far and can't keep up the high quality all the time. Anyway, that's what we were thinking, 😁😁
Used to be the best buffet for me before the pandemic but not anymore. I suggest going to Wynn buffet instead.
We did a review of the Wynn and it was very good. However, we've since been back twice and neither time was it at that same level. So, when the Wynn is on their game, yes, it's probably the best, but it's very inconsistent. Wicked Spoon, however, while fewer options and no Prime Rib, has been very good the 5 times we've been there, so, a very consistent high achiever. I guess it depends on how much of a gambler you are! Hey so yeah for 45 bucks on the strip that's pretty damn good just concentrate on the good stuff❤❤ the steak lamb and the seafood and all those yummy side dishes

Wynn's got the best buffet , no question . Wicked Spoon #4
On a good day Wynn is definitely the best, I agree (we have a Wynn Seafood video ua-cam.com/video/6XMoX5VnkGQ/v-deo.html), but as with most of these buffets they are wildly inconsistent. We went to Wynn 3 months later and the food was MUCH LESS impressive. The same happened to us at The Bacchanal (ua-cam.com/video/5B3WyeMCae4/v-deo.html) AND Anthony's Prime. However, we've been 4 times to the Wicked Spoon and it has been consistently very good each time. This is why we felt it's the best right now. Anyway, I understand your point of view and agree that if you catch it on a good day, Wynn is the best. Thanks for watching and commenting! Oh, I'm curious. Buffets - just like every other dining choice - are extremely subjective. It all depends on what you personally like and whether the foods you do like constitute a good value for you. In my opinion, Wicked Spoon is not on the same planet as Wynn. I personally don't care for it and found it extremely overrated.
When they're on their game, Wynn is probably the best. But I've been there twice in the last year when it was not good. I've been to Wicked Spoon 5 times and every time it has been consistent AND very good. To me, I prefer the known quantity especially one with overall high quality. Anyway, thanks for the comment...always good to hear all opinions!

Attending culinary school made it past first semester so far It’s grueling and chefs are tough It’s much harder then I ever imagined and scrub the kitchen after every class yikes
Yes, culinary school is a bear. Glad to hear they are having you keep things spotless. That's very important when you go off to a real job. In our restaurant the guests had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom and so we were on full display. The kitchen needed to SHINE or else.

Nope. The Wicked Spoon is mediocre at best. The little individual potion cups are a bad idea and the overall quality is meh. I'd rather pay less and enjoy the buffets at South Point and Main Street Station downtown. Don't waste your money.👎
To each his own. The buffets you mention are good for the money, no doubt. You'll enjoy yourself there.
I think @JeffKramer9511 seems to have missed the point of a review. This restaurant is "meh" according to him? Sounds like he already HAS an opinion, so why is he coming here to listen to the opinions of chefs with Gourmet tastes? The point is, if I go to the Wicked Spoon, I'm going to know where to get the best value for my Buffet dollar! It is quite plainly stated what is worthwhile, what is only so-so, and what is absolutely not to be missed!
I can see by the pictures and descriptions what I will agree with... or maybe I should just base my decisions on whatever @JeffKramer9511 has to say! 🙄
