Another difference between western boybands and BTS is musical freedom. You see western boybands disbanded because of music differences. Like, there's usually that one member who outgrew their boyband types of music and wants to do different types of music. cough nick jonas cough zayn cough. Whereas in BTS, not only they involved in writing and production of their music but they are also have the freedom to make their own solo songs within BTS and outside of BTS. In some of the BTS albums, you'd see there are some songs that has only 1 member in it but it's still consider BTS song. Other than that, the rappers have their own solo mixtape as well. 2 of the vocalists, V and JK are also working on their solo mixtapes. This is one of the strength of BTS. They have the freedom to do music of their own style outside of BTS (they're even encouraged to do solo mixtapes) while still being in the group.
if u want to see their range I highly suggest BTS ROOM LIVE 2021 where they perform a medley of their songs and I think that's a really good live performance video to watch , but if u want a concert live video (they always record it very nicely) is the live performance of magic shop
You can hardly call BTS “new raw talents”. They have been in the business for 8 years and had a longtime professional training. They are very experienced musicians and performers.
There's such great respect between both bands... often I feel like with collaboration proposals it's more of a "you benefit me and I benefit you and then we never talk again" kind of situation, but this one truly felt like a coming together of mutual respect and admiration. Usually when artists talk about wanting to collab with BTS, it's because "they have a massive fanbase", but not a single word is said about BTS' music, artistry or message. Meanwhile Chris and Coldplay took the time to not only come to Korea to record it, but also to embrace and learn about BTS' strengths and language, and even created a music video that featurs both artists as equals. Coldplays fanbase, the Coldplayers, have been so warm and welcoming as well. It's such a wholesome experience
Yeap exactly this seemed like a great colab of mutual love and rrespect. Wow i didnt know that about megan how funny record label executives have no clue 🤣 Cant wwait to hear more and dont worry about the novel it was a grwat read
@@AggressivelySweet The actual reason for Megan's label blocking the remix was because she wouldn't let them take a cut of the profits. She ended up having to pay $100K in 'flop insurance' to them. ARMY- BTS's fans- were not too pleased, so they raised 100K and donated to three Houston area nonprofits in her name. In 24 hours. :)
Once you start listening to BTS you'll never stop...trust me, i´m 51, heard of them for the 1st time in March 2020 and never stoped, they´re just the best thing ever, such humble and amazing boys, they do change peoples lives, they did changed mine... Can't wait for your reactions! 😊💜
Hi, I'm 53, and I'm from Barcelona, Catalonia. I found BTS in September 2019. The reason why I fell for them was the lyrics of Fake Love... and after getting to know them just everything. I can't have a favorite, we called it a "bias", I'm OT7 (love all 7 members). The music, the lyrics, the message, the aestethics, the personalities, the goofiness, the true love that they have for the other members and ARMY ... is very fulfilling and now be a part of it is the best of my life.
Wow another "dope elder" they say. I'm 17 turning 18 soon and from Philippines. Same with me too! I'm ot7. I love them not just because of their music and talents but their personalities as well😊
@@chynchyn159 And you dear and the rest of the younger fans, are amazing and really lucky because you have great role models on them. Life is a wonderful adventure, and you have to enjoy it, remember to love yourself. Don't let people diminish you. I 💜 you
Mind blowing performance : Dionysus - Melon Music Awards 2019 On - Jimmy Fallon Grand central station All time favorite : can't pick, 8 years worth of discography.
I'm 51 ARMY since 2017 I was 26 when COLDPLAY debuted I became immediately fan because of their deep, meaningful songs. Now my world is BTS because nowadays they're the only one who can be at the same level of the Legends. BTS makes philosophical music not commercial, they write and produce their own songs which are extremely deep and meaningful, their videos are full of meaningful details, there are even explanation videos for those. BTS helps people and safe lifes literally with their music and their personalities everyday around the world. COLDPLAY & BTS humbles the best collaboration ever, representation of goodness. My dream came true. I loved your reaction.!!! 💜
You have the best thoughts! OK it is really rare to find a reactor who get it like you do. Thanks so much and I will now catch up on every single BTS you have done so far! Hugs and thanks!
I scour UA-cam to watch an original reaction to BTS from someone and found it! The fact that you started w the music video and then took to the comments section and listened… This was the best second video. Most reactors never get into the behind the scenes stuff w BTS, where you get to see their true personalities and what they stand for. Their music and dancing is beyond epic, but truly, them as people even surpasses this. It’s as you said, Western culture struggles so terribly with the Ego. We could learn so much from them. 💜💜💜 Join the ARMY, just don’t mind the toxic ones, because at the end of the day we support BTS and their messages.
Thank u. I was just kind of shocked to see how much more there is to BTS than what meets the eye. Cant wait for more. Oh yes the toxic ones. Not gona lie i have been warned by friends to be careful not to piss ARMY off as they are known to go full war with ppl they dont like 🤣 hahaha as with everything when a fanbase is so huge then it is inevitable to attract some toxic ones aswell. Thank u for ur comment much love
@@AggressivelySweet I just found you tonight so haven’t seen all of what you reacted to yet, but hope you watch The Rise of Bangtan, dance practices, and eventually Run BTS and more like Bon Voyage.
"Man, what have I stumbled into"..... Never are truer words spoken... Buckle up and enjoy the ride!! Thanks for sharing your journey! You never regret getting to know BTS! Greetings from Sydney Australia
Welcome to the rabbit hole! You are about to embark on an amazing journey. BTS is lightening in a bottle. There has never been anything like them. They are a once in a lifetime band. So enjoy the ride. You will hear great music, be awed by amazing performances, laugh till you cry, and even cry tears of sorrow with them. (Yes, I have seen them bring grown men to tears). My personal favorite song is Black Swan. I feel blessed to live in a world where it exists. The best performance is MMA 2019....but hold off on it until you are more familiar with the guys for the bedr experience. Looking forward to taking this dive into BTS with you. 💜
BTS Showing off a variety of charms Wild- mic drop , on(kinetic ver), dope, we are bulletproof .not today Impressive- spring day, fake love, life goes on, permission to dance Exciting- boy with love, dynamite, dutter,
That moment you find BTS & it all clicks, it’s like coming home to something you never knew was missing inside yourself. Have fun falling down the rabbit hole!
Thank you for watching BTS with so much respect. They mean so much to so many different people, as you will come to see if you dig deeper into the group. The message of all their songs is: be yourself, love yourself, spread positivity, become stronger by facing adversity, life is worth living, and also, screw the haters.
It's impossible to choose one song like it just is..Their discography is chef's kiss .Even if you don't have your kinda music for some parts, you will have others That's right up your alley...You will know when you get to it later
I always think that what makes BTS a group of individuals who genuinely work well together is that they were selected very young (JK was only 14 by western reckoning - by Korean age he was 15 when he moved to Seoul, and Jin was 20 when he was recruited). The schedule and pressure they were under during training and ever since, meant that they had to be strong personalities just to survive (other trainees dropped out or were dropped). For example, they learn dances faster now, but until fairly recently it was not unusual for them to train to prepare a new piece for 18 hours a day. But layer on top of that the fact that they have all lived together ever since (initially in a tiny one bedroom flat), and they were encouraged to sort out conflicts together, even if they had to fight, and they did - all that means that they have built incredible relationships that are not confined only to their work. The history and philosophy behind BTS is fascinating.
Hi there, BTS' discography spans 8 years and they keep on evolving so the MVs that you might see now are very different from their earlier songs & MVs plus they cover all music genres from hip hop, rap, pop, funk, soul, a little jazz... they only have 3 songs in English the rest are in Korean. Just keep an open mind when you listen to them and you'll realize that behind their bop songs, heavenly vocals and amazing choreography are the lyrics to their songs. So turn the captions on when you watch their MVs. I hope you enjoy your journey into BTS like I do and word of caution, you might encounter some negative or demanding comments along the way bec Armys are passionate and protective over BTS and don't get us wrong, aside from the vibrant young people following BTS, there are many of us who are in our 40s to late 60s, students & professionals, even whole families. Have a fun journey.
It was heartwarming to see you connect with the message of this documentary and the My Universe song! I can't wait to see you discover more. I think you're really going to love BTS the more you get to know their music and who they are as people.
The funny thing is- most of them had no background in singing at all before joining BTS. The rappers (RM and Suga) were originally rappers from the underground hiphop scene, but Jhope (another rapper) didn't have any experience but now he's really good. The vocalists, V, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook (main vocalist), had no experience at all at singing before BTS. Well, Jungkook who is the main vocalist started pretty early but the other three, they literally had no experience. Jin was picked up on the streets by the company in college solely because of his good looks, V followed his friends' audition and tried it out without much anticipation, and Jimin was training to dance. He was a contemporary dancer and he was so good, he got scholarships. But now, the vocalists are pretty amazing at singing, and all of them can dance so well. Their dancing skills are really something
Hi ! Ok, it's gonna be long, I apologize in advance x) First, when you said that you thought about BTS as another classic boyband, believe me we almost all started there (I did, anyway x)) but that's the realization about how much more they are that makes them having so much fans, loyal fans. First a few precisions about this video and some things you commented : Even, if yes obviously Coldplay has a longer career and are older and more experienced than BTS, and they themselves said how much they look up to him (especially the vocal line) don't be fooled, BTS are not exactly "new" in music, they have debuted 8 years ago, trained for a few years before (2/3 years in the company, more before for some) and two of them even already had a career in undergroud hip-hop before, so they are not really rookies either. They know what they doing :) You will have a lot to learn about them if you are interested. You said you liked seeing this documentary to learn a little more about the members, so you will be happy with BTS, the amount of content they give us outside of music is insane (behind the scenes/ live stream/ variety shows/ documentary... everything you want for the 8/10 last years) that one thing that explains their success, they are very transparent and sincere about how they work, how they feel and this kind of things... About the music, I think "Black Swan" is a very good start, this such a good song, the MV is beautiful, but don't forget the subtitles, the lyrics are important with Black Swan (and majority of BTS music). Mic Drop is another good choice. Different mood x) I think it would be better to choose one in Korean, I won't enter in the debate about BTS english songs here and now, but their Korean songs are way more representative of their discography. My favorite song by BTS ? Ouch that's hard, not sure if I can choose one (never been good at that x)), taking only songs with the 7 members would be between "Blue & Grey", "Butterfly", "Louder Than Bombs" and "Sea" for the ballad or more "chill" ones and "Dis-ease" for the up-beat. If I had to chose a title track (or one with the MV) I would go for "Black Swan" or "Spring Day". Yep, I can't pick one, really can't in the end x). One of their best performance ? Easy "MMA 2019" (ARMY has even voted it most iconic performance recently in a BTS show x)) It's a 40min performance (at and award show, yep) but worth it, insane peformance, you never saw that I can promise you. ua-cam.com/video/k-0v1fNVdas/v-deo.html (just in case ;) ) Also, if you want to learn more about them outside of the music here are a few introduction/guide types of videos who could help you (ARMYs love watching reactions to these videos, so if you want to do reaction, even if it's long we will watch it, but do as you want ^^) "This is BTS" by xCeleste : a global introduction on the group, what they stand for, and quickly why they are where they at now. ua-cam.com/video/3cESARetI9U/v-deo.html "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)" by Ida S, focus more on introducing each member individually, their background/skills and what they each bring to the group. There is some spoilers in this video, some short clips of performances/MV to showcase a little their skills, but it's the best (and most recent) introduction to know a little better each member and recognize them easier. ua-cam.com/video/kGRlqyuky2s/v-deo.html "The most beautiful life goes on, a story of BTS (2021 update)" by The Asian Theory, focus on their musical career, but more on their success and how they grew. (Same as the other ones, there is some snippets, but really really short here, of a few songs) ua-cam.com/video/48Tc_Y2U0Tg/v-deo.html "BTS hardships 2013-2021" by xCeleste, is pretty much the counterpart of the one above, focus on the difficult parts of their career (no music spoil in this one x)) ua-cam.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/v-deo.html These four videos are a good presentation of BTS if you want to learn more about them, and their career (wich is also important to understand their music better at some points). I just to point out, if you watch some videos like that, try to look how old it is, there is a few video that have way more views, but they are way older, very outdated and would miss a lot of things. And, I will just give you a last documentary (the best one, by far, in my opinion), but way longer. "The Rise of Bangtan" is a series created by an ARMY (who is a professional and it shows, it's really well done, high quality), there is 17 episodes right now, not finished yet (around 30min each) and it follows their career from before their debut, it's very factual and it's shows why and how BTS have come where they are now. It's also really good as it explains the k-pop industry in the same time, and the context of the songs/albums etc... Here the link of their channel : ua-cam.com/users/TheRiseOfBangtanOfficial Okay, I just saw the final length of my comment, sorry I got too excited =/ But you seemed to be be honestly interested and a really nice guy, you're definetly the type of YT reactor I would enjoy to see discovering more about BTS and.. yep I got too excited, sorry ^^' I also apologized if there is mistakes, english is not my first language so when I write this much it probably has a lot of mistakes, sorry. Have a wonderful day ! :D
Hahaha its 06:59 and i got woken up 1.5hrs ago and have been replying to comments until i am able to fall asleeo again. English is not my main language either so dont worry. Thank u somuch for all the information. Yes i wana learn more. Im thinking of hearing a few songs first and then diving into the documentaries and kind of mix and match and then set a goal that if i complete i will watch the mma19 award show. I love to keep the best for last. Much love and thank u again for all the links
i’m so happy you did this short doc! it really is very heartwarming and it’s nice for us to see how much they think of us, the fans, when we see namjoon talk about missing seeing us, missing the concerts. anyways, i love how their vision combined to form this song.
this documentary made me so happy because chris and bts have this mutual respect towards each other and bts rarely get such treatment from other artists who often come to them for clout or talk shit about them. this was just a breath of fresh air how both coldplay and bts- legendary artists but since covid hadnt been able to perform in the same circumstances came together. and what amazed me was chris didnt even mention army once. other artists would always only think of bts' fans or "they collabed cuz bts are so huge" but chris genuinely likes them so much and it was all for bts. he came to korea for bts. i had always respected him as a person but now with this interaction my respect for him grew tenfold because bts are such humble artists but they dont get it reciprocated the same way- but chris did it this time. he reciprocated it.
U are so right. He seemed like his main goal was just to get in a studio and record with them. He didnt care how much the song would sell he just wanted to experience the BTS phenomenon. Maybe Chris just wanted to feel what its like to be a part of BTS for a day. Amazing
In my opinion, BTS is the best at their each other harmony. The rap line fully write their own lyrics. All members get involved in making the songs at some extend.
More BTS reactions please. Remember to put your closed captions on when you watch BTS videos for the english subtitles. Their lyrics run deep. They are not only good singers but also fantastic dancers too. They actually sound better in their live performances. They are that good.
Pls react to • bts introduction by xceleste •bts army by xceleste •BTS hardships by xceleste •who is bts by ida s •most beautiful life goes on by asian life theory for nice introductions You'll be surprised they came from near bankrupt company 8 years ago let's start there
BTS music has different genre .. Embrace them. I personally have genre that i like to hear but exploring BTS music .. I came to think that it is not bad to explore outside of your comfort zone.
Man, BTS has more than 300 songs and all of them are so good! How do you want me to choose one 😭 Right now, I'm addicted to Butterfly, Film Out, Your Eyes Tell, Lights, Heartbeat, Outro: Tear, Outro: Her, Not Today, Zero O'clock.
Why army are growing, its not Just because of their talent and hardwork, but also their passion for music and of course their Humble and great personalities. Once you know bts and their music and lyrics, you will know why they gained a lot of fans. Bts are so unique and have their own individuality and yet they are so united.
i am starting to understand :D i have seen a few videos of them U can go see all the other BTS reactions i have made so far here: ua-cam.com/play/PLY038Barc5CxJQ4ewn16ygv_FP0wCM53u.html Much Love
Some of my ult fav songs of BTS (I can't choose just one sry) are: Black Swan 134340 Home Louder Than Bombs Tomorrow Sea Blue & Grey Autumn Leaves and many more... :D
See, this is why I hate trying to list my favorites....it's impossible to list them all and I'll try and then I'll scroll down and read someone else's list and be like, oh my gosh, how could I have left off that one?! Blue and Grey is just... 💜💜💜
Thank you for your reaction! It was really wonderful to see your authentic appreciation of this collaboration. From a live BTS performance, wow, there are so many I could suggest. It depends on where you want to focus. One thing I will suggest is that you watch a few videos about BTS history - their journey from young trainees to today's global sensation. All 7 members come from very humble beginnings. The company that signed them was near-bankrupt for much of their first years. They struggled, and other larger music companies did everything they could to break them. Yet, they succeeded. Truly inspirational. And through all of that and still to today, they are humble, authentic, grounded artists who do everything to say thank you to ARMY for supporting them all these years.
@@AggressivelySweet no worries! I used to curse alot when i was younger too... but as i grew older i find substitute words! Not as satisfying but hey...😂🤣😂💜
They're simply amazing. They don't just talk the talk...they walk the walk as well. So much to learn about BTS. They're absolutely beautiful human beings inside and out. 😭💜 #ARMYsince2014
Both groups are very involved in philanthropic projects centred around love so their values and missions are very similar. BTS: The Love Myself Campaign with UNICEF Coldplay: The Love button Global Movement
For Live performance I suggest Magic Shop. It's one of the song that's dedicated to ARMY's. The interaction between the ARMY & BTS are just amazing. Or If you want a hype song that includes dancing, there's Dionysus, Idol, Fire or you can check out ON KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM (MV or live) Maybe you tell us what kind of music you prefer and we can give you more accurate suggestions. They cover all genre. Im sure everyone has a great suggestions.. take it one at a time coz you will be blown away with each one of them. 💜
Very Amazing Collaboration, Chris Martin has the same Mindset as BTS when comes to people coming together in making all a better world. Both Artist have massive followings. Seeing this and how the making of this MV, they were still comfortable and humble, CM sitting on the floor,JH laughing out loud, his usual self, JK snacking as always on Pocky sticks. Seeing this very heartwarming for both groups.
The clip they showed of BTS’ concert was in Wembley stadium on their second day there- I was in the audience and it was fantastic! Saw them the previous year as well and was due to see them in 2020, but COVID- fingers crossed for the future!
@@AggressivelySweet Yeah it's would be interesting to also watch an introduction video of their journey as a group, this one is great: ua-cam.com/video/3cESARetI9U/v-deo.html and this one is an introduction to the members : ua-cam.com/video/kGRlqyuky2s/v-deo.html
I loved this reaction and your how you seem genuinely interest in BTS' artistry. I immediately subbed haha. Personally, my favourite song from them is probably Paradise. The lyrics really helped me when I was in a rough place.
I love that your reaction to Chris Martin talking about how the collab was going to work was commenting on BTS being seven members, and not them singing in Korean. It just shows how open your mind is👍👍
yeah i have grown up making friends from all over the world so i know how to communicate with people without understand what they say xD thank u so much for watching appreciate u... this was one of the first BTS videos i made so its been a while since i have seen so much since then. do u still dance?
@@AggressivelySweet yea I know, I’ve been binge watching your videos for the last two days haha it’s always great to see someone’s journey discovering BTS💜 And no I don’t dance anymore haha didn’t even know I still had those videos, how embarrassing
Oh yess thanks for the reaction! You should react to Bts medley at the Tokyo Dome next! It’s incredible and it shows their talent and stage presence well!
I loved watching your reaction and would love to see more. I just wanted to share a general tip to help you decide which songs to explore next. Their English songs are very mainstream pop and meant to be light feel good music. If you are looking for their deeper, more complex stuff, i would check out their Korean (and some Japanese) music. Both are great. Have fun! 💜
True. I'd save those for later. I don't see them as very representative of BTS, in the larger sense, which is a shame since to so many people in the West that is their introduction to BTS.
It's the same here in the East (Asia). Not easy for a band to stay together for many years because of ego, rivalry, personal ambition etc. Somehow these 7 BTS members, who didn't know each other before being selected to train at the Management/Label company, are able to find that common ground among them and want to work as a team. The label itself has always emphasized on a team spirit but even the company Founder Mr.Bang Si Hyuk did not expect that the 7 boys would end up liking each other so much as tho they are a family/siblings. Up till now, they still choose to live together (even tho they have their own apartments/house).
Thanks for reacting to the documentary!!! These are are so special with their talent and their personalities!!! Honestly I am a fan of them because of their music and their personalities!!! Don’t get me wrong they are beautiful men but I don’t look at their look first. I love their personalities way more than I think about their looks… Now their are people who have bias which is someone in the band that they connect with or bias wreckers but as an ARMY we try to love them all. V (a member of the group) said, “Don’t call yourself an ARMY, if you hate any one of us”, or “Please love all seven members without leaving any member behind”, and “Please love all seven of us”. I think these quotes also tell you the love and respect these men have for each other!!!
Thank you for reacting to BTS and Coldplay. I like that you are reflective and deep in your analysis. I will follow you. Please commence down the rabbit hole of getting to know BTS. Your life will become much richer and happier for it.
Welcome to BTS journey! They have been around for 8 years and have been on top for years. This was a great collab with mutual love and respect by both groups. Look forward to seeing more from your station. The best live performance ever-by any artist- is BTS on MMA 2019 (Melon Music Awards). 37 minute performance at an award show- totally amazing!
I love that you loved this haha I feel like you’re doomed😂💜💜💜 Definitely check out black swan, on kinetic manifesto, the bts room live... just the tip of a massive iceberg lol
AND you opened up a can of worms with the “favourite song,” question. I have so many old and new favourites. One song I play every day is Mikrokosmos, and another is People by Agust D (on suga’s mixtape). But seriously, it kills me not to list more lol.
At this point I would just say, start with an album. Like its so hard to suggest one song and one performance. Because you will see one and say oh this is the best one and then at next oh this is the best one yet. My favourite Albums are: Map of the Soul:7 and Love Yourself: Answer. The members have solo songs and unit songs. The best will be to go by a song and then its performance. Disclaimer :D The live performance will sound even better than the studio version :D
But there are no English subs so you may want to listen to all the songs before watching the performance: Persona Boy In Luv Boy With Luv Mikrokosmos Dionysus
I’m glad that you did this documentary, because then you’ll see that they are just regular humble, music loving, hard-working guys. People on the outside who don’t bother to get to know them or listen to their music just think almost the opposite. They think they are a typical boy band which isn’t true. It’s like explaining to someone that the Beatles is just some band or that Michael Jackson is just like any other singer. We all know that’s not true. Same for BTS. Looking forward to you checking out their music :)
Army will watch you watch anything. But we say that “BTS is the genre” because they really do so many types of music, plus we have mixtapes/songs. So trying to figure out what style you would like to hear is what these other people are doing.
What a great way to introduce yourself to the guys through this doc! If you're excited about Mic Drop feat Steve Aioki, react to it now. Music Videos: On-Kinetic Manifesto. For live performances recommend: NPR Tiny Desk Concert and BTS ROOM live (melody of songs).
ON kinetic Manifesto, Black Swan, MIC DROP, Fake Love, Blood Sweat, and Tears, are some ideal songs to start the BTS journey. Then we can move on to IDOL, DOPE, Boy with love FIRE, DNA, Butter, Dynamite, Permission to Dance. After that to some hip hop heavy songs, like DANGER, War of Hormone, NO, Boy in luv. Then to their B side gems, like Bapsae, Go-Go, Louder than bombs, Pied piper, Magic shop, Mikrokosmos, Dionysos, Bullet proof: the eternal. Then we can move onto their solos. RM- Joke, Change, Persona: Intro Suga- Agust D, Daeschwita, Shadow: Interlude J hope- Ego: outro, Chicken noodle soup ft Becky G V- Singularity, Winter Bear' Jimin- Filter,Serendipity Jungkook- Euphoria, My Time Jin- Moon,Epiphany LIVE PERFORMANCES- MMA 2019, MMA 2018, MMA 2020, MAMA 2018, All of Jimmy Fallons' BTS WEEK performances. Performance at the UN, Grammy night performance, all billboard performances
Episodes of In the Solo or Run BTS will give you a lot of insight into their personalities. You will find they are really funny and also loving toward each other. Look up the story of Jon dressing like Jim in and going onstage for Nominee sound check to act as a decoy after Jim in had death threats. That's love for your brother.
Hi...56 year old Army from Singapore. Welcome to BTS world. All BTS live performance are out of this world. But the mind blowing performamce came to mind is the MMA (Melon Music Award) 2019 - BTS live performance(Dionysus). This is an unforgetable live award show performance by BTS. Watch it and see for yourself. You should also watch the dance practice that BTS prepare for this show.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Another great documentary is for their song ON Commentary Film: Dialogue, I'm not sure if you reacted to the song yet but please watch the video On Manifesto film before watching this mini-documentary. They show how some songs from their 2020 album were produced and it's really beautiful!
oooh i would love to watch how its produced... i have not touched ON yet so gona have to wait a little bit :D soon tho im making my way one video at a time
They have a really great underdog story "BTS From Nobodies to Legends 2019" It's all in English so no captions needed You will love it ...And it will help show you why we love them so much....A little swearing is fine...It's your reaction💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
haha thank u. yes i just uploaded the tiny concert reaction gona be live in a day or so and next i will do one of the intro videos. just gona see which one to do first. much love
All time favorite BTS song(s)? I can't pick just one, so top 5 it is.. "Louder Than Bombs", "Dis-ease", "Tear", "Tomorrow" and "Whalien 52"! It's so hard to pick favorites though. I probably just have 300 favorite songs of theirs at this point.
Thanks for your reactions. I’m really enjoying them. I recommend you check out the Dope MV soon. RM actually starts it asking if you’re new to BTS. (You can then enjoy a ‘making of’ video for Dope as well.) 💜from🇨🇦
Wow, you went straight into the docu! Once my friend did listen to some kpop songs, and bts's popular Butter. And she said that Butter is not kpop, and I agree. For me, the songs that can be called as Bts-que songs are songs like Tomorrow, Spine Breaker. Not to disrespect the vocal line, but Bts core is hip hop, this is where they are the strongest. Those lyrics that gives hope, gives encouragement, also contain social critics but also...so fun. Not every eastern group have brotherhood as Bts have. Different in personalities, they acknowledge each other strong points and learn from that. The respect they have for each other is tremendeus. As you said, ego destroys everything. But these guys have none of it because they are constantly seeing that 'i am not the best in this team'. What attract me to Bts besides their music is that Bts are musician with purpose. They not just sing and dance, but they give back to their fans and society by being advocate of youth. They are no stranger to the UN, and charity organization. Their 3rd UN speech, which is recently, will show you why fans adored them as a beacon of hope.
Another difference between western boybands and BTS is musical freedom. You see western boybands disbanded because of music differences. Like, there's usually that one member who outgrew their boyband types of music and wants to do different types of music. cough nick jonas cough zayn cough.
That is so true. Seems like BTS have found rhe perfect recipe for longevity and musical enjoyment
Trust me if you knows more about BTS you gonna love them and to be army they're the biggest boy band on the planet

biggest band in d world & Most popular artist in d world now. as He said.
if u want to see their range I highly suggest BTS ROOM LIVE 2021 where they perform a medley of their songs and I think that's a really good live performance video to watch , but if u want a concert live video (they always record it very nicely) is the live performance of magic shop

You can hardly call BTS “new raw talents”. They have been in the business for 8 years and had a longtime professional training. They are very experienced musicians and performers.
i ment compared to coldplay who first released in 2000
There's such great respect between both bands... often I feel like with collaboration proposals it's more of a "you benefit me and I benefit you and then we never talk again" kind of situation, but this one truly felt like a coming together of mutual respect and admiration.
Wow i didnt know that about megan how funny record label executives have no clue 🤣
Cant wwait to hear more and dont worry about the novel it was a grwat read
@@AggressivelySweet The actual reason for Megan's label blocking the remix was because she wouldn't let them take a cut of the profits. She ended up having to pay $100K in 'flop insurance' to them. ARMY- BTS's fans- were not too pleased, so they raised 100K and donated to three Houston area nonprofits in her name. In 24 hours. :)
Amazingly put!
Once you start listening to BTS you'll never stop...trust me, i´m 51, heard of them for the 1st time in March 2020 and never stoped, they´re just the best thing ever, such humble and amazing boys, they do change peoples lives, they did changed mine... Can't wait for your reactions! 😊💜
Sounds a lot like my journey! Cheers to mature ARMY!
Thats amazing to hear thank u
Same for me, I’m 60 tho.
I’m 59 and only started listening to BTS in January 2021 and I’m Army now ❤️❤️
I'm 61, there's lots of us older fans.

Philospphical music not commercial thats a great way to put it. I cant wait to hear more. Thank u
You have the best thoughts! OK it is really rare to find a reactor who get it like you do. Thanks so much and I will now catch up on every single BTS you have done so far! Hugs and thanks!
Thank u for ur kind words 💜
@@AggressivelySweet thank you so much for reacting and appreciating BTS. Welcome to the family 💜💜💜

It really is very fascinating to hear all these things about them its impressive. Thank u
I just saw a comment on here from an Army who is 76, so late 60's is still a baby Army! 😂😂
It was heartwarming to see you connect with the message of this documentary and the My Universe song! I can't wait to see you discover more. I think you're really going to love BTS the more you get to know their music and who they are as people.
I sure i will. Honestly cant wait to hear more from them
The funny thing is- most of them had no background in singing at all before joining BTS.
Their dancing skills are really something
wow amazing thank u for the info... i made 2 reaction videos today and i saw them dance a little bit... DAMN amazing
bts are coming to LA for 4 nights of concerts, November, 27 to Dec.2 /21. Hope to see army there!

12:02 that was Wembley Stadium 2019, when ARMY surprised them by interrupting their set and singing one of their songs (Young Forever) to them.
Wooow that must of been amazing to experience for them. Fun fact iive close to the stadium 😆
Hi ! Ok, it's gonna be long, I apologize in advance x) First, when you said that you thought about BTS as another classic boyband, believe me we almost all started there (I did, anyway x)) but that's the realization about how much more they are that makes them having so much fans, loyal fans.
First a few precisions about this video and some things you commented :
Even, if yes obviously Coldplay has a longer career and are older and more experienced than BTS, and they themselves said how much they look up to him (especially the vocal line) don't be fooled, BTS are not exactly "new" in music, they have debuted 8 years ago, trained for a few years before (2/3 years in the company, more before for some) and two of them even already had a career in undergroud hip-hop before, so they are not really rookies either. They know what they doing :)
You will have a lot to learn about them if you are interested.
Easy "MMA 2019" (ARMY has even voted it most iconic performance recently in a BTS show x)) It's a 40min performance (at and award show, yep) but worth it, insane peformance, you never saw that I can promise you. ua-cam.com/video/k-0v1fNVdas/v-deo.html (just in case ;) )
Also, if you want to learn more about them outside of the music here are a few introduction/guide types of videos who could help you (ARMYs love watching reactions to these videos, so if you want to do reaction, even if it's long we will watch it, but do as you want ^^)
"This is BTS" by xCeleste : a global introduction on the group, what they stand for, and quickly why they are where they at now. ua-cam.com/video/3cESARetI9U/v-deo.html
"An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)" by Ida S, focus more on introducing each member individually, their background/skills and what they each bring to the group. There is some spoilers in this video, some short clips of performances/MV to showcase a little their skills, but it's the best (and most recent) introduction to know a little better each member and recognize them easier. ua-cam.com/video/kGRlqyuky2s/v-deo.html
"The most beautiful life goes on, a story of BTS (2021 update)" by The Asian Theory, focus on their musical career, but more on their success and how they grew. (Same as the other ones, there is some snippets, but really really short here, of a few songs) ua-cam.com/video/48Tc_Y2U0Tg/v-deo.html
"BTS hardships 2013-2021" by xCeleste, is pretty much the counterpart of the one above, focus on the difficult parts of their career (no music spoil in this one x)) ua-cam.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/v-deo.html
These four videos are a good presentation of BTS if you want to learn more about them, and their career (wich is also important to understand their music better at some points).
Here the link of their channel : ua-cam.com/users/TheRiseOfBangtanOfficial
Okay, I just saw the final length of my comment, sorry I got too excited =/ But you seemed to be be honestly interested and a really nice guy, you're definetly the type of YT reactor I would enjoy to see discovering more about BTS and.. yep I got too excited, sorry ^^' I also apologized if there is mistakes, english is not my first language so when I write this much it probably has a lot of mistakes, sorry. Have a wonderful day ! :D

this documentary made me so happy because chris and bts have this mutual respect towards each other and bts rarely get such treatment from other artists who often come to them for clout or talk shit about them. this was just a breath of fresh air how both coldplay and bts- legendary artists but since covid hadnt been able to perform in the same circumstances came together. and what amazed me was chris didnt even mention army once. other artists would always only think of bts' fans or "they collabed cuz bts are so huge" but chris genuinely likes them so much and it was all for bts. he came to korea for bts. i had always respected him as a person but now with this interaction my respect for him grew tenfold because bts are such humble artists but they dont get it reciprocated the same way- but chris did it this time. he reciprocated it.
Yeah its very impressive
It’s heartwarming to us when new people genuinely praise BTS. Looking forward to watching your journey 😀💜

Thats amazing. I cant wait for more.

Have fun! 💜
Thank u. I will mix and match for sure
True. I'd save those for later. I don't see them as very representative of BTS, in the larger sense, which is a shame since to so many people in the West that is their introduction to BTS.
Yes to Black swan. It's in my top 5 bts songs. Beautiful lyrics, choreo, and music
Awesome cant wait
It's the same here in the East (Asia). Not easy for a band to stay together for many years because of ego, rivalry, personal ambition etc. Somehow these 7 BTS members, who didn't know each other before being selected to train at the Management/Label company, are able to find that common ground among them and want to work as a team. The label itself has always emphasized on a team spirit but even the company Founder Mr.Bang Si Hyuk did not expect that the 7 boys would end up liking each other so much as tho they are a family/siblings. Up till now, they still choose to live together (even tho they have their own apartments/house).
They all live together? Wooow thats crazy
excited for your journey. sit back and enjoy the ride! 💜
Thanks for reacting to the documentary!!!
These are are so special with their talent and their personalities!!! Honestly I am a fan of them because of their music and their personalities!!! Don’t get me wrong they are beautiful men but I don’t look at their look first. I love their personalities way more than I think about their looks…
Now their are people who have bias which is someone in the band that they connect with or bias wreckers but as an ARMY we try to love them all. V (a member of the group) said, “Don’t call yourself an ARMY, if you hate any one of us”, or “Please love all seven members without leaving any member behind”, and “Please love all seven of us”.
I think these quotes also tell you the love and respect these men have for each other!!!
Its great to see how much they love each other

But i cant wait for more music 🥰
Yay! I can’t wait to see!
Definitely the best performance from anyone, ever
Other people have told me about this. I will add it to my list but wana hear more from them before i watch the best performance
I love that you loved this haha I feel like you’re doomed😂💜💜💜
Definitely check out black swan, on kinetic manifesto, the bts room live... just the tip of a massive iceberg lol
AND you opened up a can of worms with the “favourite song,” question. I have so many old and new favourites. One song I play every day is Mikrokosmos, and another is People by Agust D (on suga’s mixtape). But seriously, it kills me not to list more lol.
Hahah thank u for the reply. much love
I sure will thank u
amazing reaction! thank you for being open minded and giving our boys a chance! you just got yourself a new subscriber 😊
Thank u i have 3 more bts reactions. They are just amazing my mind is blown

here is my journey so far
At this point I would just say, start with an album. Like its so hard to suggest one song and one performance. Because you will see one and say oh this is the best one and then at next oh this is the best one yet. My favourite Albums are: Map of the Soul:7 and Love Yourself: Answer. The members have solo songs and unit songs. The best will be to go by a song and then its performance. Disclaimer :D The live performance will sound even better than the studio version :D
Cant wait to check out more
yeah i agree. album reactions are a really good idea.
BTS brought me here. Hello! New subbie here 🤗 love your reaction, thank you 😍
Thank u 🥰
Looking forward to your other BTS reactions!
tiny desk coming in a day or so
Melon Music Award 2019 is the live performance that will blow you away.
But there are no English subs so you may want to listen to all the songs before watching the performance:
Persona
Boy In Luv
Boy With Luv
Mikrokosmos
Dionysus
Yes i will first hear more songs from them and then check out this live.
Epic
Thank you for reacting to this! BTS is really cool and I think you’ll like them a lot
Im sure i will
I’m glad that you did this documentary, because then you’ll see that they are just regular humble, music loving, hard-working guys.
Yeap i had no idea they where so genuine. Cant wait for more
It was a collaboration of love.
🥰
Army will watch you watch anything. But we say that “BTS is the genre” because they really do so many types of music, plus we have mixtapes/songs. So trying to figure out what style you would like to hear is what these other people are doing.
Nice
A new convert! Great insights and reaction!
Thank u. Tiny desk reaction tomorrow
Thank u for the suggestions
RM- Joke, Change, Persona: Intro
Suga- Agust D, Daeschwita, Shadow: Interlude
J hope- Ego: outro, Chicken noodle soup ft Becky G
V- Singularity, Winter Bear'
Jimin- Filter,Serendipity
Jungkook- Euphoria, My Time
Jin- Moon,Epiphany
LIVE PERFORMANCES- MMA 2019, MMA 2018, MMA 2020, MAMA 2018, All of Jimmy Fallons' BTS WEEK performances. Performance at the UN, Grammy night performance, all billboard performances
Thank u much love
Cant wait to see another bts's reaction! Gonna subs for more! 👏

🤗 We love new reactor fans who love our guys! Welcome, I look forward to joining you on your journey - it is a LONG journey. 💜💜💜
Thank u
Episodes of In the Solo or Run BTS will give you a lot of insight into their personalities. You will find they are really funny and also loving toward each other. Look up the story of Jon dressing like Jim in and going onstage for Nominee sound check to act as a decoy after Jim in had death threats. That's love for your brother.
Yeah i have watched bts t1 and zombies. I did behind the scenes t1 today
I absolutely love that this was your second video. I can see that you really want to understand and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Enjoyed watching your perspective a lot!
Eeey thats really nice to hear thank u 🤗
Hi...56 year old Army from Singapore. Welcome to BTS world. All BTS live performance are out of this world. But the mind blowing performamce came to mind is the MMA (Melon Music Award) 2019 - BTS live performance(Dionysus). This is an unforgetable live award show performance by BTS. Watch it and see for yourself. You should also watch the dance practice that BTS prepare for this show.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Mma 2019 is my goal i will watch it alot later tho. Because i keep the best for last 🥰
@@AggressivelySweet Noted. Looking forward to your reaction.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Another great documentary is for their song ON Commentary Film: Dialogue, I'm not sure if you reacted to the song yet but please watch the video On Manifesto film before watching this mini-documentary. They show how some songs from their 2020 album were produced and it's really beautiful!
oooh i would love to watch how its produced... i have not touched ON yet so gona have to wait a little bit :D soon tho im making my way one video at a time
Great reaction! can't wait to watch your journey!
Thank u
I hope you keep reacting to BTS. They are so amazing. I’m in my 60’s, by the way.
For sure will do more bts
Hahha makes sense. I am now on my 6th reaction(4uploaded) so i understand what u mean. Songs are amazing
Thanks for your reactions. I’m really enjoying them. I recommend you check out the Dope MV soon. RM actually starts it asking if you’re new to BTS. (You can then enjoy a ‘making of’ video for Dope as well.) 💜from🇨🇦
Aaaaaaaaaa i wana hear all the songs hahahah 🤣
Wow, you went straight into the docu! Once my friend did listen to some kpop songs, and bts's popular Butter. And she said that Butter is not kpop, and I agree. For me, the songs that can be called as Bts-que songs are songs like
Tomorrow, Spine Breaker. Their 3rd UN speech, which is recently, will show you why fans adored them as a beacon of hope.
u are so right they are sooo much more than what people think they are. thank u for all the info much love
We're very happy to welcome you into our little mikrokosmos! 💜
Thank u 🥰 ihave done 4 reaction video of BTS by now. And today i recorded 2 more that are not uploaded yet. Much lvoe
