- The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has suspended two engineers in the illegal construction case at the bungalow of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Both engineers Pradeep Parmar and Abhishek Raj were earlier posted in PWD. Pradeep Kumar is currently posted in Guwahati and Abhishek Raj is posted in Kharagpur. These two engineers are accused of doing illegal construction work in the bungalow of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, ignoring all the rules. CBI investigation is also going on in this matter.

It would be wise to lock and seal 🔒🔐🔐🔒 the illegally renovated CM house until the disposal of the case investigation.
I think the falling of cement from part of the ceiling should have been taken up for, "Repair & Maintenance" instead of "Modification", Rather it is "Demolition & Construction" which ought to be under different code heads.
Also in case of repairs of such grievous nature, the bungalow should have been vacated & alternate accomodation should have been allotted.
