@@chasem6053 Another game. I only knew this reference because it was on a t-shirt of a character in a romance novel I read. It's THAT old. I think the 80s or 90s? Ok, I looked it up, it's called Zero Wing.

There is actually a glitch in the game. If you have a bookshelf on the desk the sim will automatically stop the computer interaction to read a book. I've had this one for a long time now. Just delete the books on the desk and it should stop. And the Impress with video games Prowess is actually a flirty interaction lol

That was the most Sims 4 ending we could have gotten.
Something about having a"bookcase" on the desk makes Sims REALLY want to read instead of use the computer
I've been thinking of making an immortal sim just to level up every single skill in game and fully play with them in the correlating careers and such. Seems like a fun and laid back gameplay thing to do and learn what all is in game. Change their looks and house (or hobby room) to match what skill I'm doing.

That sounds like so much fun!! I actually have something similar going on so i figured i’d write some tips that helped me play.
I have a sim who I am playing now - i did the fitness aspiration so she has the long lived trait and is an elder right now.
Without skill/career cheats she’s maxed the military and astronaut career, she has like ten level 10 skills maxed, completed a couple aspirations. She’s basically a super sim but I’m not trying, she’s just totally OP. Most of my legacy heirs max a bunch of skills but not to this level. I don’t use the savant trait either
The key imho is to get the happy infant and happy toddler traits - i think those really boost skills which i think the skill gains compound into future stages. The confidence system from growing together i think helps a lot too.
So for your sim, if you make them a descendant and raise them from birth, you can get those traits to help you so you wont have to spend all your time skill building and can play some storylines/side quests. I wonder what an immortal legacy challenge would look like if you only kept the heir alive.. 🤔

sims 4 is _crazy_ this gotta be the only game where sims that wanna be a musician or athlete spend all their time playing videogames, but then sims that wanna be pro gamers will refuse

also what's the order you unlocked the games in? because whenever i start a few save the sims can choose to play road rival or hillock whenever they want, tho i try to keep them off the computers unless they actually need them so i never tried to force them to play games except maybe like twice when they had the tech career
Sometimes they get a moodlet about being burned out from playing games. I think probably because pre likes and dislikes it was impossible to pry them away from the computer
The Video game prowless interaction is in the romance category, i don’t remember if you have to be flirty to have it show up or not

Just realised... When your sim was watching livestream, we all were waching someone playing game, where someone was waching someone plaing game.
Density effect is a clear reference to Mass Effect, not some unknown Sims game...🤓😂
I think the genie game is a reference to prince of persia seeing how it is set up lol
Girrrrl, Simpsons hit snd run is a throwback. My favorite Simpsons game was the one based off of the movie The Simpsons Game.

Just lock your computer. I always lock all my computers because that's the only thing sims will do every single time. So annoying
I really love the Video Game skill and this is making me want to have a Sim solely focus on it, I always get distracted by families lol! I did have Yuki Behr enter a tournament, and she did win but then she adopted a lot of kids with her wife Miko Ojo and doesn't have as much time to game lol, they are majnly grown up now though, so maybe it's time she dusted off the keyboard and gamed again!

I always have my 'self employed' Sims register as so via the phone and then I can have fun with the names and descriptions, for example with the new foodstand, I had the owner, my sim Jack Hughes put his job title as 'Owner of Waffleicious' and then the bit about it says about he makes waffles and to look out for him at a local park or community lot, so I used it as a mini advertisement. For the simmers like me who play multiple families it helps you keep track what they're doing too. I also felt bad for Sienna Grove, the 'Horse trainer' who shows as unemployed when you play her so she was my first to register for a job in that way lol

The fact that this sim looks like me a few weeks ago is crazy (her hair) and I'm also a huge gamer is crazy. I haven't maxed out my gaming skill but I'll get there I'm maybe a lvl 4 😅

You can get tons of those upgrade parts immediately if you get them from debug buy mode.

It might just be in my head but everytime I put a stack of decor that can hold books at my desks my sims will always stop what they are doing on the computer to read even if they go to a different room to do so.

With SimmerWellPupper’s Better Computer Games mod Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza Horizon 4 replace Hillock II and Road Rival Alpha respectively
However this mod allows adult video games to be played by children. Maybe it can be fixed by adding age ratings to the video games?!
