Chris-just saw you unloading a tote without gloves…hmmm-big no-no. Having impailed myself with a sliver under the fingernail a few times, a feeling you will never forget-gloves are mandatory whenever touching wood. Hey-how about a segment on removing slivers?😄👍
I normally where gloves. I think I had a sliver like 4-5 years ago, part of the job like blisters, bruises, cuts, pokes, smashes and the other things that happen when you work.
Glad see the tractor back and doing ya good beets loading by hand don’t think summer can go fast enough so I can go up see brad but at are age time seems to fly by now 👍👍
My daughter and I are watching from the big TV today! I'm glad you're getting filled up, I just emptied my big bin, so I also have to go get some wood done. Have a great day!
Glad the cherry score is working well for both of you! Adam trying to get the last pieces of wood to dump is like trying to get the last turd to flush🙃🤭
In order for the IBC to dump more easily when cutting the front out like that you have to cut it back one more section to take that corner out and then it will slide right out and it still stacks in fine. Dave
Chris excellent work and video looks like 👍 there’s a lot more cherry to get and it’s a good thing you didn’t have your door open on the truck because I bet you would have a cat inside 😮😊❤
There is nothing wrong with handling firewood again. I was splitting on site yesterday and stacked it in the truck . I will be restacking again when i unload it so it can season 😉👍
I have a shed with a metal roof that I stack my wood under. I never paid attention in the past, but lately I have noticed that wood in this unit shrinks a lot. There are 10 cords in there and after 6 months, the level had dropped 6-8 inches. The roof slants 16' from 8 ft. in the front to 6 ft. in the back. I was amazed at the shrinkage, that is a lot of volume from a 12'X16'X 7' pile. It shrank that much 3 times in a year.
I'm kinda curious if a dump bed conversion or one of those bed unloading systems would be beneficial during delivery. If nothing else for a faster turnaround time.
Not for me. I have a bed unloader...piece of crap. And a dump bed...no, I use my truck for a lot of other thing s too and I do not want to haul that around all the time.
I've figured out my bin system, I have a lot of fencing and posts and some pallets. I'll be trying that. Pallets on bottom and fencing and posts for sides
stuff is froze in there pretty good. i like cherry but then again, pine is fine or anything that burns. now that I'm retired and do my own firewood....if its free, its for me....that's a lot of nice cherry i the shed. did you buy it all or just some of it. i've got another couple of 18 in cherries that some limbs are starting to go so, time to drop them. sounds like he has a couple of ankle biters at the farm....lol. have some folks coming today to give me an estimate on a 4 foot diameter oak that is falling apart. good thing is I'll have some firewood, bad thing is its gonna be expensive. at least they wont have to haul much.
Hey Chris yeah, I hate mud season 2 but I can send you right back to winter if you want some of Nova Scotia's weather were this weekend in one single Storm. We received 130 plus centimeters of snow.
Chris...Is he also making you a deal on the Kubota with a cab? I know you were eyeing the Kiotos with cabs at the dealers the other day! Need more cold weather to sell more firewood!!
G’morning Chris. Reminds me of a video from a looonng time ago, when you got a bunch of wood from someone’s barn and it was covered in raccoon poop. GoodNightIrene
Good video Chris. I assume you don't have a gym membership... You sure as hell don't need one! Over here we hang out for spring, but I see your problem with that thawing ground. I wonder if there's a way to use the elevator and the dump trailer in tandem to unload? Save wear and tear on your shoulders.(Speaking from experience got to look after those.) Cheers from HB NZ
hi, is it flexible or not with cages, I don't understand why you are so against sacks are so flexible both to fill and to empty, they don't take up any space when they are empty.
Chris-just saw you unloading a tote without gloves…hmmm-big no-no. Having impailed myself with a sliver under the fingernail a few times, a feeling you will never forget-gloves are mandatory whenever touching wood. Hey-how about a segment on removing slivers?😄👍

Awesome vid today Chris! 🔥💯👍. See you soon! Andrew from NB :)
Thanks! You too!
I want his house/barn! Looks like a cool place!
It is for sale!
Packed in good. Nice tractor. And 30 minutes to hand unload is quick.
Thanks 👍
What a score on cherry,he split it good and small your customers won't know any difference in yours or someone else, lol good stuff, thanks
You got that right!
Glad see the tractor back and doing ya good beets loading by hand don’t think summer can go fast enough so I can go up see brad but at are age time seems to fly by now 👍👍
No, it is not my tractor, you might want to watch the video and listen.
My daughter and I are watching from the big TV today! I'm glad you're getting filled up, I just emptied my big bin, so I also have to go get some wood done. Have a great day!
That is awesome! Thanks!
Nice looking firewood. Cherry is my favorite. Unbelievably well packed in those totes.
Thanks. Mine too! Yes it was!
Glad the cherry score is working well for both of you! Adam trying to get the last pieces of wood to dump is like trying to get the last turd to flush🙃🤭
Yup, just like a floater!
There's alot of cherry there. Im glad thats what you need. And he fully understands that people dont wanna pay for extra things. Good for both of you.
Yup, win win!
Wow! Thats a lot of nice Chuckn wood 🪵 🇺🇸
Yes it was! Thanks!!!
Nice wood all done up.
Yes, thanks!
Good Morning Sir!! Great looking cherry!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Hello, thanks!!!
In order for the IBC to dump more easily when cutting the front out like that you have to cut it back one more section to take that corner out and then it will slide right out and it still stacks in fine. Dave
But by doing that you remove the strength to be able to double or triple stack full totes
Yup and it will be real weak and bend easy too. Totes are not the answer for volume production like mine, I would need 1000+ and at $30 each???? no.
yup
Good morning Chris!!😀😀
Pretty nice cherry. Hopefully it will be enough for the rest of the season.
Take care my friend!!😀😀💚💚
Logger Al
Hello Al! I hope so too!
Lots a cherry. 👍🏻
Yup, good stuff!
Good Morning. Really glad you found a source for more cherry. Adam has a nice set up.
Loved the new hood ornament.
Good morning! Yup, good guy, great wood.
That open faced building is what I had in mind for wood storage, but it blocks the wind. Nice score with the cherry 🍒. Keep on cutting
When I built my woodshed I built the end wall to the west to hinge open for air flow to dry. Then I close it up before winter and the snow flies.
Yes but for a guy who wants long term storage for wood like 2 or more years it will all dry, just not as fast.
Yes but you are smarter than the average wood guy....me.
I need to get to know Adam! I need cherry👍👍
Sorry, it is all mine!
Nice work Chris. Cherry looks like win/win for both of you. GNI
Yup, that is the best kind of win!
Chris excellent work and video looks like 👍 there’s a lot more cherry to get and it’s a good thing you didn’t have your door open on the truck because I bet you would have a cat inside 😮😊❤
Thanks 👍, yup, I do not know why they like me???
Pretty cool! 😊 I love this content!
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

Yup, selling wood that is already cut split and dried has less touching already for me.

Yup, my brother stacks his cords to 52" and it always shrinks to 48"
Good morning, and God bless
Hello thanks!!!

Talk about hood ornaments! Can a cat 🐈 be a wood hound? LOL Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
They can be if they are as loyal as a dog.
Yup, he is there all the time!
Good morning all, stay busy.
Hello!
Good Morning y'all...
Hello!
Good morning Chris good for you happy for you thank you ( Ron
Good morning!
The new owners are silly not to pay extra for the wood, just think of the stacking.
Chris Jenga😊
Use the lift
Cutie cat❤
Yup.
I hope your wood yard is in better shape than my woods i was cutting in this weekend 6 inches of water 6 inches of mud was nasty!
Nope, just mud now and rain is coming ....icky!
It sucks too warm I want the cold wood sells better!
I've figured out my bin system, I have a lot of fencing and posts and some pallets. I'll be trying that. Pallets on bottom and fencing and posts for sides
Off the ground is the most important I think for drying.

No, it is not frozen ....just packed in tight.
Nice farm for sale good thing you guys didn't get hurt
Yes he has a nice place!
Chris, nice video. I would like to get ahold of some cherry. Not to much cherry around NE okla. We have alot of Oaks & Hickory
It is very nice firewood. Smells great!
Hey Chris yeah, I hate mud season 2 but I can send you right back to winter if you want some of Nova Scotia's weather were this weekend in one single Storm. We received 130 plus centimeters of snow.
Yup, winter is far from over!
I love Cherry wood
Yup, good stuff!
Chris...Is he also making you a deal on the Kubota with a cab? I know you were eyeing the Kiotos with cabs at the dealers the other day!
Need more cold weather to sell more firewood!!
No, I think he is taking it with him.
Looking at your new hood ornament I didn’t know jaguar made a pickup.
Yup, that cat likes to be by me for some strange reason.
Good morning all!
Hello!
Chris, wouldn’t it be nice to have a tractor with a cab? That guy selling his?
No and no. I have and open station because I WANT an open station.
The Girl Scout cookies are being consumed by the family and they are DELICIOUS
Awesome, you can get more!
No cats were hurt in the production of this video! 😂 surfs up kitty
Yup, he is always close by!
G’morning Chris. Reminds me of a video from a looonng time ago, when you got a bunch of wood from someone’s barn and it was covered in raccoon poop.
GoodNightIrene
Yes! That was like 4 years ago!!!
I ‘member !
"Get it all, get it now, get a truck (and trailer)" guide to salvage.
Yup, we will get it.
Hey Chris the beaver needs some more Alpo look like he get a little thin
Ha!
Good video Chris. I assume you don't have a gym membership... You sure as hell don't need one! Over here we hang out for spring, but I see your problem with that thawing ground. Yup, you will see the next load done differently.
are you buying the ICB's from Adam too ?
no.
Will we ever get to see the processor
Yup, I am editing a couple videos of it running right now.
I would be sad selling my firewood!Hope his new place has a woodstove
They are moving out of state.
OK @@InTheWoodyard
Gooood morning!
Yes it is!!! Thanks!
Nice wood 👍🇧🇻
Thanks 👍!!
Cat support is awesome
Yup, he is always there!
The tow bar on my 2.5" lifted Nissan Pathfinder is getting covered in mud. That's how bad the ruts in my field track are. Not good.
Yup, time to stay out!
Can you fill the trailer and your truck with that Cherry you are getting. Not sure if it will save you a trip, or if it be too much weight.
I could if I was not worried about having my truck way over the load limit and damaging something on it.
🤘
Thanks!!!
Dry wood has a sound!!!
Yup!
Why didn’t you just leave it on the tote, and load the whole thing😎
His tote and I would need to get it out eventually so we dumped it in.
That's a lot of choice chunks cherry you didn't have to chunk into the chariot.
Yup, good stuff!
hi, is it flexible or not with cages, I don't understand why you are so against sacks are so flexible both to fill and to empty, they don't take up any space when they are empty.

I would need over 1000 of them at $30 each so ...no.
👍🏻👏
Thanks!!!
Morning.
Hello!!!!!!!
My bust that’s not your tractor?
No, it is Adams at his farm, did you watch the video?
Are you looking for a 500i to buy
Maybe if the price is right!
@@InTheWoodyard well I have one with WestCoast's saw productive that I'm looking to sell
26°F and clear here in Ashville Ohio... wet n muddy..... Girl Scout cookies came in Saturday !!! yea! My cookie fix is happy!
Good to hear!
Put in with elevator, no tearing up your shoulders!
Maybe so but if I used machinery for everything I would weigh 300 pounds like the people that never do manual labor. My wood yard IS my gym.
You look and sound like RedGreen! 😂
Ya, I get that a lot, I do like duct tape!
It maybe 5 months of spring after that long 10 day winter we suffered through!🙄
Yup, it seems like that might happen????
@@InTheWoodyard I feel like we got ripped off on a winter...🙄
Good morning dear sir.
Good morning!!!
Good Morning Woodhounds!!
Hello!!!
👍👍👍
Thanks!!!
🎉
Thanks for watching!
What gym membership!? 😅
The woodyard IS my gym.
Painfull watching him tip the totes in.
They where packed very tight.
It was more painful watching it back on video. Haha

Yup, it happens I missed one guess.
@@InTheWoodyard It adds the right amount of humor, thanks
Too much work.
