to those who think GMA is not qualified to be the house speaker of the representatives., just please research. As a legislator, Arroyo filed over 400 bills and authored or sponsored 55 laws during her tenure as senator. As an economist she did boost the Philippine economy in her regime, and she has experience no one in the house of representative could equal and even to those representatives who declined to vote for her must not deny her ability...
Lahat naman sigurong pulitiko may gagawin diba? kaso nga lang nag nanakaw sila oo magaling siya sa economy napalakas niya gdp ng pilipinas pero hanggang dun lang yun tumaas ang bilihin, naghirap ang mga pilipino, corruption, hoarding hello garci? ano pa ba? nabubulag bulagan lang naman tayo alam naman natin anong plano nila pero kung hindi mo alam gusto nilang gumawa ng regime simula sa pagapapatalsik ng opposition at pinalitan ng kakampi.
it's always been like this... it all started when cojuangco-aquino took the seat unconstitutionally, and that regime is the most corrupted regime that people are still living the consequences... Remember Corona which is appointed by GMA then impeached by pnoy's administration? there, that's the political manifesto, it is an obvious common move to have the stake of the co-pillars of the government to have more grip of control. it enables them to do the desired platforms... we should consider that, if not then the president and its cabinet can't execute what they want for the country, good or bad....

Here again after she declared her intention to run in the 2022 elections. GMA is a political beast. Her influence is deep rooted that people almost just sleep on it without notice. In only times like this house coup does she bare the gravity she can pull. Whatever she tries to do next year is anybody's guess but she will probably win as she always has.

GMA is the best. I’m from Tarlac and I hate the Aquino-Conjuanco criminal family, I dont mean all family members, only the criminals in the family. After gaining a superficial moral high ground due to the death of cory, they all decided they can do what they want. They installed their own chief justice, their own ombudsman, they detained GMA for as long as they can despite being declared illegal by a UN body. they undermined the system of checks and balances...and it’s both scary and appalling. During GMA’s term, you have a true minority in the lower house, an independent senate and a supreme court who voted against GMA’s policies in multiple occassions which is okay because it is a sign of a vibrant democracy. In Penoys terms, you have none of that and political persecution is normalised.
