It has a DEADLY safetly flaw in the stem, which snaps in half over time at the hinge due to a flaw in the design that even a basic engineering student or anyone with any common sense could see. The hinge clamp is far too short which puts an incredible amount of force on the hinge and surrounding areas due to extreme leverage from being too close to the folding point, so it catastrophically fails/breaks while you're riding, just like it did with mine recently. Luckily I didn't die since I was only going about 10mph but if I was going +50mph I'd probably be dead. I told them the wobble was getting worse and worse since the first month I bought it but they did nothing to fix it and said it was normal! When I informed them it finally snapped in half while I was riding they again did nothing, and even said I'd have to pay to get it fixed even though this has been a well documented safety flaw for years with most Dualtron scooters!

Question, does it become stiff and hard to turn when there's a steering damper installed?
My thunder 2 is arriving in 2 days, and i have steering damper installed. Though i don't really ride my scooter that fast, i just thought of having dampers for safety.
My blade x pro got dampers and it is very stiff even adjusted to the lowest. Hard to turn and the handling is just really uncomfortable over all. Not sure if it's with the damper or the scooter itself though.

Pmt tire are low in psi... it will have less takeoff speed and will reduce the range drastically..

Standard tyre flat after 1500 km currently have 1700 with my pmts

you think it was worth the money? I want to buy an Escooter but don't know what to get exactly ... Chinese electric scooters are really good bang for the buck ...dualtrons are legit though
Hi! Well for me its totally worth it. Commute to work around 20km takes 25 by car if no traffic and with a lot of traffic 50minutes and the roads are always full here. By public transport for me its 1hr10 and with this dualtron its only 30minutes with some traffic and if i fully push it 25minutes im a super aggressive rider 😅 Downside of most scooters are theyre bad in rain
Hello! What do you think, if I upgrade thunder 1 2019 to nami burn e max 2022, 72v 40ah. Is it a good idea? Or maybe you can recommend other good alternatives in this class? Thank you

I got a flat with my « noflattyre » plus pmt tyres are so much better in comfort and they turn so much better

i got the aghilius ,and i try to understand wats the different s about the 2 ,the speed is 90km easily,and the cosmetic things are also the same ,the price is the only different!!!i have the new model whit the display,
60v vs 72v so thunder has more range more topspeed & more torque my display said 113kmph but real gps speed was around 104

@@BOOSTEDLASER just need to know ur height i think i might have some stuff to recommend. Ebike Vs Scooter btw i was considering an ebike too but theyre not legal here. Plus a 2000$ ebike wont go as fast as a 2000$ scooter and the scooter probably has a bigger battery too but the ebike can be used without battery so its really up to u what fits u the most
hey man would you recommend this scooter to use as uber eats/deliveroo delivery or not? I can tell from the vid ur also from belgium so considering we have alot of rainy days and having to ride in these conditions whats ur opinion?
Range is awesome but for rainy days i would skip this scooter i rode it like once in the rain no problem so far but i wouldnt risk it look for the nami or king gt instead for rainy days
@@wezvstech thx for the fast reply! is there any particular reason why one of the other 2 would perform better in rain? because the nearest scooter shop for me is in Ghent and they don't sell the other 2 brands. The closest shop that does is in Leuven.

@@wezvstech cv thx voor de snelle replies man! Dacht dat je van Wallonië was 😁. Het ding is via mn broer zn werk kan hij waarschijnlijk een estep naar keuze kiezen, hijzelf heeft hem niet nodig maar ik zou hem dus gebruiken voor uber eats en deliveroo. Vandaar dat ik zou willen weten welke daar het meest voor geschikt is belangrijke punten zijn natuurlijk snelheid, range en het belangrijkste rijden in slechte omstandigheden (hobbelige weg, regen,...). Dus volgens jou ben ik beter af met nami burn e?
@@bleekwater6176 ja denk het wel nu je hebt wel meer range op een thunder 2 je kan ook natuurlijk silicoon gebruiken zodat water niet binnenkan komen maar je verliest garantie. Sommige mensen rijden met hun thunder in regen geen schade ma ik vertrouw het nie echt

Nice video, but doubleclick on throttle doesnt work. Tried many times on my Thunder 2 in different conditions. Another Thunder 2 owner in my city also tried it but had same result =(
For me i do notice a big difference i have one of the first batches of the thunder 2 im not sure if that changes anything

@@wezvstech I checked everything. My friend and I got our T2's also from first batches (preorder in june 2021). I ask about it my local Minimotors dillership, they checked it and send report to the factory, but they answer only with a video where doubleclick works.
Also there is no word about doubleclick in the manual for T2 (But it is in Storm LTD manual).
Maybe our particular Thunders doesn't have this feature (controller issue maybe), or all T2's doesn't have doubleclick, and you feel the power because you are lightweight. IMHO

Cool I'd like to own one like that but seems like out on my reach, only wealthy people can own it and aside from that the Battery is extremely expensive - so I can only manage 36v - 48v Reality bites God bless

@@soffianfar1d559 changing the suspension on the ultra 2 is a bit hard u need to order rods recommended looking at youtube videos on how to replace suspension on dualtron ultra its a lot harder then changing then on the thunder
