Childe has the most death-flags so far. Him and Albedo. Also I could picture how easily Mihoyo could kill off some characters, lile Diluc or Jean if the Abyss lays siege to Mondstadt or something else. But back to Tartaglia, he's too reckless imo. He wants to fight and this might put him in danger when facing a bigger opponent! Not saying he's stupid to fight someone a lot more powerful, but for his family, he'd do anything. Sacrificing his life for the loved ones, one of the main reasons I love him so much.

I mean... there is a very high chance that he might die if mihoyo is going to add a character death to their story.
1) The parallel between Childe and his brother and the story of Ajax and Teucer from Ancient Greece
2) Childe is already injured and that Foul Legacy Transformation seems to injure him more whenever he does it.
3)he wont pass up on a chance to test his limit.
4) He does not get along with the other harbingers at all , that's why they keep sending him to places far from Snezhnaya, to avoid a fallout so something like a fight between the harbingers might happen in the future idk
I might just stop playing tbh (if they kill him off in game)

But then the story writer part of me says "But think of how much emotion such thing could cause, IMAGINE HOW MUCH EMOTIONAL IT WOULD BE, THINK OF THE POTENTIAL" and it kinda makes me want it to happen because emotions damn it. I love this ship so much that I want this to be canon. Childe probably has the most death flags out of all the current characters. He is probably going to sacrifice himself for us or to protect his family from Tsaritsa ;-;

if you're wondering about the song used in the video, it's actually a song called "paubaya" by Moira Dela Torre! it's written in Filipino and it actually really suits this au because it's pretty much about a love that wasn't destined to work out *despite* all the effort to keep it, but letting go of the person for their sake and betterment as an act of true love. hence the Filipino word "paubaya"!
there's this sentence in the song that goes, "bakit hindi ko naisip na mayro'ng hanggan" which roughly translates to, "why didn't i foresee that there's an end (to this)?"

Um excuse me if this is weird but we have the same last name, if that is your real name tho.
This is how its going to go if Childe changes sides for Lumine. When Lumine visits Snezhnaya and gets all friendly with his family Childe will start to really change and in the end probably fight with Lumine against the unknown god. Then in the final battle he'll go into his Foul Legacy transformation in order to save Lumine, but since the transformation takes a toll on his body he knows that this would be his last fight anyway since he released his full power again in order to fight the unknown god. In the end Childe is badly injured while defeating the unknown god with Lumine and in his final moments confesses to Lumine and dies in her arms just like in the video.

Childe screams "Watch out ojou-chan" as she pushes her away from the harms way, the toll from Foul legacy. He could not get away in time. As Lumine watched as her love took the whole damage. She was stunned, Childe was gasping for air, in a fit of rage. She was able to temporary use her thought to been lost power, with a cost. She slayed the enemies, as she turned and ran towards Childe as the enemies turned to ashes.
"No, please... Yes, breathe... you can do it" Lumine looked at him, as he bleed with the eyes of panic and concerns. Childe grips her arm. "Paimon, get some help" Paimon was confused, but heard her companions wishes, she flew far, as fast as she could. She flew to the closest place that could treat Childe's wounds.
Lumine puts Childe's head down on the grass while she ripped her dress to at least stop the bleeding. The dress that her brother gave seemed less important to what was happening to Childe. "Are you hurt Ojou-chan?" Childe asks, weakly.
"You idiot, you're more hurt than me" "Haha, as expected of you... you took out all the hordes of the enemies... you are mysterious... strong..." "I'm not, I let you get hurt..." Lumine was trying so hard not to cry, to stay strong.
"You are strong, smart... and incredibly beautiful- Ah, I wish I could introduce you to the rest of the family... I-" "Please don't talk... it's going to be okay, Paimon is going to come back and... and treat your wounds. We can go on with our adventures. You promised m-me that..." Childe was getting even weaker 'Stop, stop, stop blood.' Lumine, ripping more of her dress, holding down the wound "-Teucer... sorry, big brother can't bring home your new sister anymore... I can't give you presents anymore..." "No, Childe... stay with me, I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU DIE ON ME. AJAX" "Haha... You finally called me by my real name..."
Paimon rushes with Baizhu who was roaming around the area where they where in. "Lumine! I brought a whack doctor that could probably save him... Lumine?" Paimon saw, Lumine embracing and kissing Childe who seemed to have passed away. Getting colder and colder in her arms. "A-Aja-" Lumine bursts into tears. "Ajax's gone... I- I killed... him"
Aether, walking to the area where he sensed his sister. Leaving the ruin guard behind him where he won't be spotted. "Lets see if our army is ready to atta-" "Ajax... AJAX WAKE UP" He hears a scream from his sister. He would never mistaken her voice. He rushes over to the cliff where he could see her. Crying as she hugged him, torn apart by Paimon, and few millelith that Paimon dragged along. Paimon asks "Will he be able to be treated?" Baizhu says nothing, takes a deep breath "I'll do my best but even I won't know" He began to treat him, to at least stabilize him so he can take him back to his store to use whatever he needs.
Aether, seeing all of it, the army wiped out. The uncontrollable tears and emotionally unstable Lumine, he mutters "What- What have I- no... this wasn't supposed to happen... I... I made my own sister cry... even it was not directly... I hurt her..." An abyss mage shows up "Your Highness, the ar-" "Yes I know" Aether acted strong, inside he blamed himself. He turned for the last time, Paimon pushing Lumine along as they carried Childe in a critical state.
'I'm sorry Lumine... I will not make the same mistakes again. I need to take you away.' Aether disappears.
Lumine collapses all of the sudden, the toll on the power she forced to drag out to wipe out the army. She loses conscious as Paimon continued to call out for her, as she closed her eyes. She wakes up, she sees her home world, there she sees young Aether and Lumine laughing and giggling as they ran in the field of gold.
She wakes up after a full week "Lumine!!" Paimon jumped in joy. "Where am I?" "At that whacky doc's place" "Is AJA-" Lumine jolt up, to have sudden pain all around her body. "H-hey don't move. You took a fairly bad beating too! It'll take you weeks to heal!" "Paimon... where is Ajax?" Paimon says nothing. Then Amber comes in with Venti "Hey Lumine... we heard about you. Jean sent me to check up on you, and Venti tagged along" "Oh is she awake?" Zhongli and Keqing comes in.
Paimon helps Lumine put her back on the pillow. "See everyone came to see you" Lumine started to cry. "Lumine!?" Everyone had a worry look on their faces. "Ajax... where is he?" Keqing kicked everyone out because she knew most of them were terrible liars. For the first time, she gave a vague answer "Well you better heal up and find out for yourself." "Why is no body telling me. Why are you lying to me Keqing." Keqing paused. "I can't answer you... because even we don't know what happened to that fatui." Keqing closes the door, with a sad, dreadful face.
Weeks passes, Lumine was well enough to get out of bed. She looks at her ripped, blood stained dress, she walks out with a plain, simple dress that was used at hospitals. She walked the halls that seemed endless 'I need to find Ajax' she hears an argument "Bring out the Fatui Harbringer." It was the millelith. "We cannot pass you over a critically injured patient that could drop dead at any moment. It's already a surprise that he's even alive" Gui argues. Lumine steps out and tells them to leave, "Gui, where is he. Bring me to him, please... I need to see him"
Lumine stood there, as she saw people who can use heal, even Barbara and Jean was there. Trying to help Childe. "They came to repay you apparently." Lumine cried and collapses.
Childe stayed asleep, Lumine stopped by every single day. She even asked Ningguang to not come after him until he is well. She kept Teucer in the dark. Telling him that her brother is making a super secret toy just for him and can't write back because he loves him too much that he will spoil all of the secrets. He believed in her.
"Wake you you idiot... so we can go on an adventure... and you promised that you would help me find my brother." Lumine leaves flowers from the places she went, telling what happened there. What he missed out on. But he continued to sleep, Lumine, tired from her journey, curls up next to him and falls asleep. Lumine lets a single drop of tear fall, hoping that this was just a bad dream.
Ending 1:
"H-hey. Did you enjoy your sleep?"
Lumine, mumbles wondering who disturbed her nap. She slowly opens her eyes.
"H-hi? Um my arm is getting a little num so aaaaah~"
Lumine gets off the arm, rubs her eyes. She pinches herself, she felt pain. "It's not a dream... It's not a dream..." Droplets of tears were followed by tears that seemed endless. "Why are you crying... Ojou-chan?"
"You idiot... You finally woke up!!" Lumine falls into his embrace while he still laid down. "Sorry I didn't mean to make you worry. So please stop crying..." "I was scared... I was never this scared my entire life... Losing you... The thought of it... I'm so glad I didn't lose you that day... So you're pretty much asking the impossible right now" Lumine made the smile while her eyes watered. "Welcome back Ajax..." "I'm back Lumine.'
The two share a kiss.
"Hahaha you know my last few thoughts as I passed out was 'damn I want to kiss Lumine again. She tastes so sweet and delicious' you know" "I was expecting something else. But if you liked it, let's keep doing it, as many times. So don't you dare go picking fight with death himself." Childe looked a little disappointed "Aw, guess I'll just fight Death next time. Since I rather keep kissing my most beautiful woman."
The two laugh, enough that it echoes all the way at the end of the hallways.
"Btw, I may have told Teucer that you're building a biggest surprise while you were in a coma. Since I already know that you don't want him to worry or see you like this."
Childe laughs "oh no, guess I'll need to do something about that."
Childe walked out of the pharmacy a few days later. They both went to thank Ningguang for keeping the promise. They travelled to Mondostrat, thanked Jean and Barbara for helping Childe. To tell them if they ever needed them.
"So what now ojou-chan?" Childe, with his head on her lap. "Well we did finish what we needed to do... Now let's go and find my brother shall we?"
The two held hands as they walked to the horizons, smiling.
"Hey wait for Paimon!!" Paimon flies after the two.
"Thank you Paimon. Thank you"
