Lol, it's funny how all the music videos people create to this song try to end on a tragic note where the first guy actually was in love with the girl all along. Ladies, Gentlemen, let me clue you in on something:
It doesn't matter if "deep down he loved her, he was just bad at showing his love!!" Because no one deserves to be in a toxic relationship where they're being constantly criticized, where they're made to feel worthless and useless by someone who is supposed to love them! You should never tolerate that kind of treatment, and if after talking to your s/o about the problem they don't change, or heaven forbid they get worse, absolutely dump them!! They. Are. Not. Worth. Your. Self-Respect. No one is. Honestly this applies to friendships too! If you find that most of your relationships are of this toxic nature then it's time to take a step back from relationships and re-evaluate your self. Do you love and respect yourself? Are you happy with yourself? Do you take care of yourself and treat yourself with respect? Because unless you do you aren't going to attract people to you who will. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
