@ujjwalkapoor2444 awe, thank you so much. It is very appreciated 💙
Thanks for all the tips !! I’m going to Thailand and all the tickets for the lantern festival are sold out! I’ll try a local experience! Thanks a lot ! 🇧🇷 Brazilian here ! ❤
@MrTOMCMS you will love doing the festival with the locals. Have an amazing time, and make sure you follow the rules.
Thanks. Going there in few days! I'll do the tour on the 1st day. Then go to nawarat bridge the next day as what you suggested. Though my problem is they said its hard to find a ride back to the hotel after😅.
I have done done this in Thailand it’s wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great video. Thanks for the trip to Thailand latern festival ..
You're very welcome
Great informative video. For 2024, its planned on 15th & 16th November. Please suggest me for attending all the ceremonies with locals, by when I should reach the city and how much are we gonna miss if we leave the cuty on 16th evening.
The festival is 3 days 14,15 and 16. On the 14th will be the opening at the 3 kings monument. That night go to Wat Phan Tao, be early it gets very busy. The second day, visit the temples in the old city center. You have to ask the locals what day the lantern release will be. Make sure to ask a lot of them because some will say it is not allowed. Do it with the locals at the Nawarat Bridge. The third night is the parade and the river candles. It gets very confusing but it is so worth it. If you need any more information, just ask 🤍 just know you can release the river one any night but won't see a lot.
good stuff 🙂👍
Thank you, hope you get to see it one day.
Absolutely luved ur informative video. Can you please also suggest on how to reach this place..i mean which is the nearest airport? Or intercity travel .?
Also for 2024 what are the dates of the festival and how many days good for the festival and other local sightseeing
@ujjwalkapoor2444 November 14-16 . You will need to fly into Chiang Mai. I would go a day before and leave the day after. During the day, there is not much going on. You can visit the temples and take day excursions. I would suggest a day with the elephants. Hope this helps. 💙
@@wanderingwithjenny671 thank you 😊
Question: Where did you purchase the tickets for the lantern festival? Can you please provide the purchase link. Thank you
I did the lantern festival with the locals it's free and such a beautiful experience. I went to the bridge to release and you can purchase a lantern along the way, they are everywhere. If you want to do the mass one, go here yipengchiangmailanternfestival.com/
Hello! Have you seen elderly tourists or locals during the festival? I'm thinking of bringing my mom with me but am a bit concerned if the crowd would be manageable or too stressful for her. Thanks for the tips!
It is crowded but filled with all ages. I have a hard time in crowds with anxiety, and I was able to manage it. People are respectful, and there is no pushing or anything like that. I always say that to avoid this, go early, get your spot, and relax. You both will love this event, and it's so great for bonding moments. ❤️
@@wanderingwithjenny671 Thanks so much! That's comforting. :)
