One Skillet Meal

Ingredients
1 head of cabbage (cut up)
2-3 bell peppers (sliced)
1 yellow onion (sliced)
Half pkg bacon cut up and fried
1 pkg smoked sausage (sliced)
About a 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
Salt
Pepper
Tony Chachere seasoning
Directions
Cut up all veggies, bacon and sausage. Fry bacon. Set aside when done. Fry up sausage in bacon grease until browned. Set aside. Saute onion and bell peppers until somewhat tender and brown. Set aside. Add remaining bacon grease back to skillet and fry cabbage. May have to add a bit of butter if you don't have enough bacon grease. Cook cabbage until tender and slightly brown. Add all ingredients back in plus cilantro and add seasonings to your liking. Cook 5-10 minutes on medium low until mixed well. Enjoy.

👍🏼 watched to the end and saw the wind kicking up, we just had strong winds take down a lot of trees, and one fell on a camper here, but the camper looked ok, so I think it was the tree top that fell not the whole tree

I grew up watching Justin Wison... So, I cook with Cajun flavor base of the Holy Trinity (Onions, Bell Peppers, Celery) and the Pope (Garlic) for most of my main course dishes using my Cast Iron Skillet...Or alternatively sometimes I use the French Mirepoix flavor base(Onions, Carrots, Celery) ... Or combine both... Also I love Savory (I use dried) and Black Pepper ... I also use Sodium Free Cavaliers (i am on No/Low Salt Diet) ...Shannon do you use Cast Iron skillets? Cast Iron is my favorite cooking tool... I ❤️ Cast-Iron ...
