You finally got another win. And all it took was the best board breaker in the game and the most degenerate burn/stall card we've seen so far. I also just realized that I could have won the second game. On the turn you got me with TT, I just needed to not summon a token, then use a token, Tiger, and the Dragon to make Flower Wolf to empty some zones, then summon Great Angus, use it to summon your Armor Exe and Thunderball, then use them to make Robolady, which could banish your Ectoplasmer. And then I would have enough damage on board to win before you could activate your TT. I think I just forgot that Chaos Angel doesn't actually need to use a Light/Dark monster as a tuner.
@TheLetterJ0 LOL that's definitely one way you could have done it. You looked at flower wolf in your Extra Deck like a billion times while I was editing. But yeah, that is kind of an involved and unintuitive line, so I can see how you didn't think of it at the time.
@whambamduel I have also been wondering when we'd start seeing modern staples show up. It's kind of interesting that we've already seen several DM staples like Snatch Steal, Graceful Charity, and Change of Heart before we finally found Evenly. Though I guess I do have Mourner, and it's even newer than Evenly, but it hasn't really been worth playing yet.
@TheLetterJ0 Yeah, wouldn't exactly call Mourner a staple lol. If it was Effect Veiler or something, then we'd be talking. I still avoid setting backrow in the same column as yours because "what if imperm?"
@whambamduel Same. It could appear at any time. And I do still have a Mekk Knight, even though I haven't played it in months. And I wouldn't put it past us to play Fuse Line or Tiamaton or some of the other column-based cards if we find them either.
