Oh they remember! 😂 My neighbourhood crows recognize me even with a face mask in and will fly over within 6 feet to say hello and accept an unsalted peanut in shell. I love them, such intelligent beings.
I rescued a crow from a cat back in the 90's. I have heard them calling to me and noticeably very recently. I have had 2 in the past 2 months who have called to me when i walk past. Yesterday one did not make itself known until I walked past. I looked at it and whispered hello birdie. They really can communicate to their fledglings safe places and people to not worry about.
Yes Crows actually teach their generations about people too. Perhaps the crows you’ve encountered were descendants who of the rescued crow, 😂.
@@PrettiBrownEyesMisha the problem is my face changes because I have trouble shaving (really shattered shoulder) and when I rescued the crow I had less tattoos and I have to change my glasses regularly and don't think I was wearing glasses that day. I hand fed a currawong grasshoppers and it knocked on the back window asking for more 2 days in a row but it always raised it's wings to take flight if I did a wrong move. I went out the 3rd day and it never came back. Houses nearby have built up so we have a small space. maybe soon i can try to attract something, even if it is just the gorgeous rainbow lorrikeets we get here. I will have to buy some wombaroo lorrikeet feeding mix, but that is a plan now the hospital has discharged my physio sessions, but i would welcome ALL native only species here in Sydney Australia. we3 have a pest that takes over our bird's nests and they are aggressive and i detest them. I heard crows teach their fledglings to keep away from farmers with shotguns, who stupidly think crows can kill a cow, she4ep etc just like the horrible people who killed the thylacine in Tasmania. I love our native wildlife and dogs.
I was attacked by a crow this morning, it actually scratched my scalp. Later today I was walking in the same area the attack happened in the morning but on the other side of the street. The damn crow started screeching and flew right at me across the bloody street. I had to run into a store and say I was being attacked by a crow. I'm scared to go outside now!!!! This crow wants to kill me.
BB Ghoul just use your pepper spray on the crow
I hope you're okay now.
Maybe you could offer it food. They do get defensive if they see others as a threat. Maybe some crows are more aggressive than others?
How's the situation now?
Damn really? Omg. It's like The Birds movie come true. Well I say defend yourself. Hit those bullying birds with your purse or throw big rocks.
@@BlackBird447 Probably both.
Maybe your face and physical features confuse that particular crow into thinking you're someone else, perhaps someone who hurt him in the past. He might be attacking you because you remind him/her of some other human he has had a bad experience with.
Damn, all I learned is now much to make a trailer for a new psychopathic serial killer.

@@theextremeanimator4721 I was probably ultra high. Ignore this. I don't even remember what I was referring to. Thanks for resurrecting this for me to find

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE BIRDS CROWS ARE.
I HAVE ENJOYED MANY AWESOME INTERACTIONS WITH THEM OVER THE YEARS. THEY WOULD RECOGNIZE ME & MY CAR BEFORE I WOULD PLACE THEIR DAILY SUPPLY OF PEANUTS OUT. I LOVE CROWS WITH ALL OF MY HEART & CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM. THEY'RE TRULY INGENIOUS BIRDS & LOTS OF FUN.
I dated a girl whose name was Crowe and she watched me like a Hawk. Nice bird though
Haha
You could try to get laughs with bird puns, but I don't think that's gonna fly
that mask is some serial killer level shit.
+FartMaster69 So damn creepy indeed
and crows know all about murder.
With the knowledge from this video, I decided to go outside where a bunch of crows lived. I fed half of the crows food and the other half was pelted with rocks. Some of the crows liked me and some hated me. The next time I went out, a swarm of crows attacked me while the ones I fed were defending me. I had started a crow war.
+Reptile Illum
I have a fear of birds but I can't help but freaking laugh at this comment ..
wah. This was golden.
+Captain Gangplank You stole this story from Reddit. You're a phony.
Except you're lying
Blackbearded doesn't make sense. how would you know which crows were with each other? one crow can literally call a good number of crows on your ass what're the chances the crowd you did feed food go "man he fed me I gotta protecc him against my neighbors"
Didn't happen
This is fascinating. I go to a place routinely where crows are sometimes. Now I walk around with a bag of in shell unsalted peanuts. I'm trying to see if I can get them to notice me. Wish me luck...
halloween has to be special
I've had these three crows following me for three years now I named them lary curly and moe now I just gotta figure out the next step such a cool feeling knowing no matter where I go they are there .
All this proves is that the crows have watched Halloween and aren't having none of his sh*t! 😁
Great video. Are those crows or ravens? They look like ravens since they’re so big.
Crows get huge
Hello can anyone tell me why crows are anime of me as soon as I go out they start try to fight and fly over me again and again their nest is on tree right in front of my house
This happens sometimes in late spring, when their babies are learning to fly. Crows can attack you if you get closer to their baby. They do it with a high speed pecker hit, on the back of your head or on your feet.
People that went through this attack usually remember it for life, since it resembles the "Birds" horror movie & it actually hurts badly.
@MUSIC HOUSE
I always maintained they werent just using facial recognition but theres an energy link theyre picking up on. Case in point...20 years ago i owned several types of birds which i kept in my room at the time in the basement. My parents both worked from home and noticed the birds were quiet all day until about 45 seconds to a minute before i came home and would whistle loudly and make racket until i got downstairs. We did our own experiment for twenty days straight they started making their vocalizations loudly no matter what time i chose and did it about 45 seconds before.people with dogs say the same.Their dogs start barking just before one owner shows up even when they cant see them. There is a link.
Ive heard the dog thing before, but I'm still sceptical. There must have been some trigger that you hadn't thought of? A regular 45 seconds before you got home suggests you were pretty close to the house -could they see any part of you from the basement, hear keys or your car, the next door neighbours dog barking, or perhaps a gate opening?
"There is a link."
How did you rule out that the birds weren't possibly picking up your scent if, say, you were walking/cycling, etc., or maybe a unique sound your automobile makes if you were driving? birds do have excellent hearing. Same goes for the dogs with scent.
It is rather fallacious and not very informative to posit a mystery to answer a mystery. You're essentially just kicking the can down the road and rendering the original mystery even more mysterious than originally thought.
@spooky katt Is that an argument? If so, let's take it to its logical consequence.
P1: Bob says that 2+2=4.
P2: However, Bob sounds insufferable. He's also clearly a western man vexxed of spirit and bored in general, & often renders embarrassing nitpicking critiques.
C: Therefore, 2+2 does not equal 4.
Your argument clearly entails absurd notions as Bob's "alleged" distasteful ways are irrelevant to the proposition expressed. You've merely resorted to vacuous ad hominems. Attack the argument, not the person.
Furthermore, if you aren't forwarding an argument, why ought anybody care about your arbitrary opining?
Onyxinjun Or maybe they just memorized the timing.
Answerthequestion the researcher said they did it with different people wearing the same mask and had similar results
so crazy
I simply adore Corvids :3
So what all birds do this
thank goodness they weren't training them to spot POC...
Caw! Caw! Caw! Look at that mask how could you not hate it?! Caw! Caw! Caw!
Imagine seeing them walking around in the misty park with crows cawing at them. I would be pretty freaked out.
Hahaha true I would be scared for the rest of my life. :D
try imagine it when midnight
🤣heck yeah
He turns to you and says “do you like my murder?” Nervously you utter “w-w-what” thinking there’s no way he said what you think he said. Then he replies “my murder of crows” then you breathe a sigh of relief
Great video. Are those crows or ravens? They look like ravens since they’re so big.
Theyre ravens. Because they're not cawing. Ravens don't caw.
Crow." That's NOT A NORMAL HOO-MAN!"
I had a crow visit my back porch when he realized I would feed him and the dog wouldn't bother . The crow was also " jealous" and acted rowdy if I tried to feed other crows, not only running them off , but apparently squawking loudly if i did try( calmed down and was quiet if I only fed him)
Lol
Feed me not them
They were moving in on his territory, he couldn't have that. 😂
I feel sorry for anyone recovering from facial burns who decides to take a relaxing stroll through that park.
It’s a joke.
I go fishing a lot at a local reservoir. I have a crow call that hunters use to locate turkeys. I will sometime play with them by trying to repeat them. They will come over and test my vocabulary.
One crow I was conversing with led me in a count up to 8 and back down to zero. I turned around in amazement and said to it, “you can count.” Then it flew over to some of its murder and talked to them while they would look over at me.
That’s when I figured out it went to the others to say, “They can count?” “They’re smarter than they look.”
When I go fishing at that reservoir they know me and my van. They’ll follow me from the camp grounds to where I fish cawing the whole way.
Whats crow call
@@khmmhk8499it's a bird call, like barking in order to attract a dog's attention
I feed the crows that hang out in my garden. I’ve gotten one shiny white quartz pebble as a gift. Just last week, I was walking down the trail, when this crow glided in slow. It stopped above my head, and ruffled my hair by flapping its wings. Very cool!
Save that pebble, thats an unconditional gift from a bird friend..
Use to mess with crows when I was teenager, lived in the woods. Would chuck rocks 'n things at them just to be a turd.
Eventually, Crows knew who I was so well, the IMMEDIATE second I would step outside, one or two crows would start honking, and the ENTIRE flock would fly away and wait to come back until I'd come inside.
True story lol
All I can think of is Michael Myers when he puts the mask on💀
Evryone hates Krows and in Norwegian , skjærer , but I just love them! Thanks for showing this video ! People should look at them in a difrent way and lern more ! Have seen videoes of Crows and ravens giving thair human feeder presents small tressures as thankyou for helping me ! Wild ones ! Toushes my heart 🌬💗🕊💎📎✨❣️
*me yelling out 11 story apartment in New York accent (I'm from Texas)* hey man! leave them fucking birds alone! I'm sleepin' here!
I love Crows, i feed my community Crows Peanuts all the time when i can.
Same here, they're adorable.
I don't feed my neighborhood crows or anything, but I observe them all the time and love how their lives are so human-like. The ones in my neighborhood must certainly recognize me, and must trust me too since I am always out there photographing them, and they never fly away. But one even took a nap near me (looked like a brooding hen, just nestled up on some branches about 10 feet from my balcony, and slowly shut its eyes while I photographed it). Another time, a mated pair went and got their blue-eyed kids, and brought them back to the tree canopy next to my balcony and left them there for about 10 minutes, when they flew off for going to get some snacks or something. And onetime there was a crow over on an adjacent building cawing in a very anxious tone at one of resident hawks perched on a tower I was taking pics of from my building roof, and after no other crows came for a while, I looked over at it to take a few pics of it, and we made eye contact, and then it flew right to me, and perched on this wooden overhang thing about 4 feet above me and hung out with me for several minutes while I took photos of the hawk. At first it was still cawing at the hawk in its anxious tone, and then it stopped, and I thought it must have left, so glanced up and it was still right there, and it looked down at me all calmly and tilted its head to the side as if it was saying hi to me. That was quite an experience. It felt like we had an unspoken bond, and it knew that I was a safe place to be in a stressful situation, and that made me feel pretty special.
When crows have a better memory than you ....
Okay but what if they realized your stature and figured your face changed and now they're freaking out.
OMG Amazing.
Once there was a crow in my neighbourhood whose nest was destroyed by some neighbours. The crow would attack everyone who would passby. It was kind of funny. I came back from school and he attacked me too
So I guess my cat is pretty smart, too. As soon as he heard the crows in this video, he immediately looked towards the window. Or maybe he isn't smart, because the window was not the direction the sound was coming from. Hmmm....
If it flies it spies. Birds have ai facial recognition
Their so smart 😃
The big raven at my work has been saying good morning recently, wholesome ♡
They're telling each other "Jason" is here!
I am trying to befriend the crows around my neighbourhood. Once I left nuts on the patio, then played "Crow calling" video on UA-cam. After a few minutes a crow came and started watching me in the eye. But never came to eat the nuts. The wind took them.
Amazing!
This is not just a crow/ raven phenomena. Nuthatch, chickadee, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, juncos, even simple sparrows etc.....know individual faces. I came back to a timber sale almost a year later and the( 2) nuthatch , pygmy nuthatch, and 2 chickadees after a couple days were landing on my hand from the year before. I KNOW they know me....research Grants are unnecessary.
Ye
Walking around lookin like Jason and expect them not to crow death is crazy
It's tricky when they confuse people.
With that mask on he looked like one of the psychopaths from an old horror. Friday the 13th or Halloween!
birds are watching....
the monkey and the bitter fruits from the islands of japan was a good experiment.
and the chicks with the hawk/plane experiment.
So why did the crows react the way they did?? Why were they scolding??
Coming this January... *THE CROWMAN*
Add a different angle, some added effect, and some creepy music 😮
Micheals crew confused
I wondered why Kojak never went into the park.
MY UNCLE NURSED A CROW IN HIGHSCHOOL AND IT FOLLOWED HIM FLYING ABOVE CAR WILD AND WAITED OUT SIDE HIS CLASS WINDOW TEACHER MAD ALL STUDENTS WATCHED CROW IN STEAD OF BORING TEACHER UNCLE Jerry his dad was in movie big sky with KURT DOUGLAS AND TAUGHT 1 OF 2 SON MICHAEL OF OTHER HOW TO FISH WORKING ON FINDING OUT THEY WAY COOL
Thats Odin Mask
Awesome..
1:21 my grandma told me not to trust you,
BASTARD!!!
So how do they tell others about a person tho....
Like do they show the other crows the person?
Do they not need the person around to tell the others and are psychic?
Do they have a set vocabulary that's bigger than scientists assume or have studied?
How do they spread the information?
This video is better than any of the recent Halloween movie sequels
Would crows still scold you if you are also grieving for the dead bird?
I guess it is a good idea to ask a bird if they can recognize a face
Where can I get that mask at?
That mask is .......
I’m
Crows and ravens have followed me everywhere since I became a Christian and received the Holy Spirit. Maybe someone could explain what this means spiritually? How to understand them and communicate with them?
Ever heard the tragedy of Itachi the wise?
It means they want to you return to the dark side.
Crows are ominous. They represent death and darkness. Beware sir.
Before 1500 years ,
The Creator told us about the intelligence of the crow in the Qur’an in Surat Al-Ma’idah, verse 31
Then Allah sent a raven, who scratched the ground, to show him how to hide the shame of his brother. "Woe is me!" said he; "Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the shame of my brother?" then he became full of regrets-
