Essentially it's because Bryan Singer brought John Ottman in for Days Of Future Past and Ottman basically ignored the First Class soundtrack and instead referenced his own X2 score (in which he also ignore the original X-Men movie score).

To be fair to Ottman, his Superman Returns score, which uses his own material and John Williams themes from the Reeve films is outstanding.

I heard that Fassbender shot a scene as Magneto for Multiverse of Madness, but they deleted it from the final cut. But if Feige releases the deleted scene, it should have this theme playing.

Agreed. Days of future past is great, but first class is a movie where we truly get to see an xmen team. Not just whatever Wolverine can pull together on his time travel adventure

Uh, no they didn't. Unless it is a flashback scene, Michael Fassbender can't play magneto in that period. It's Ian McKellen at best.
