I LOVE this film! I showed it to my 4th- 6th graders and they were surprisingly engaged and interested. After the film, I had them write the list of manners, and then discuss other manners that we could use in our day.
Wow, back then there were more manners in my days. But kids today really forget and also respect is another. Maybe this film might help this generation also.
Good manners can get you into lots of places. Using good manners can help ease the way to a better day at home and school and in the schoolyard. DONT BE A YARDAPE!
I suppose Beaver Cleaver would be rude to Mrs. Landers at Grant Avenue Elementary School, and he'd probably get a lecture from a chalk figure. Might have helped become friends with Judy Hensler.
Armory Brunot, Jr. It was Miss Landers who was Beaver's teacher; not Mrs. Landers. However, there was an episode in which Miss Landers got engaged and Beaver was upset about it.
Oh and another thing that Larry should have done: and that is apologize to Miss Rand and his classmates for his behavior. If it had continued, Miss Rand would have sent Larry down to the principal's office.

Way to go for Larry learning how to mind his manners. I guess he won't be a Mr. Bungle!
Sadly, the actor that played Larry passed away in May of this year. Thanks for the memories and rest in peace, Don. 😢

People today should watch this and take it to heart.
We watched this in school. Strange to think that this boy is probably a grandfather now

Plot Twist: Larry has schizophrenia
Thanks for putting this up!
In Larry’s defense, it wasn’t fair that he had to miss recess just to erase the boards 😂
How long has McGraw Hill been around?
Watching it in 2018🤣😂
This is amazing! So funny and true. I'm looking up Mr. Bungle after this one. Oh man.

I'm surprised Larry's parents didn't teach him manners.
ahhhhh, God i wish i could go back!
What did they put in that kid's lunch anyway?

Who else is here because of Rifftrax?
Did you know LSD was legal in 1958.
Effects include vivid and vibrant halluciantions,
like the ones shown in this film
Chalky does have a point, though.
Where did we go wrong? Smh
Chalky sounds like mr hanky the Christmas Pooh
Paper planes 😎
Who the hell would pick a student to clean the board at recess? THAT’S JUST RUINING SOMEONE’S RECESS!
These grade school manners are sorely lacking at our University of Missouri PC radical campus.
Larry has issues ...
He was just rude, inconsiderate & a bore. He probably get away with it at home too.
What the heck?
Carnival of Souls was a better movie
