Having been homeless on the streets of Spokane and seeing the hate coming from northern conservatives, it warms my heart to see the responses to this video. There has been so much hate coming at people. Look up the tent city here. The mayor said they make it too easy to be homeless in Spokane, like it's illegal and people on the bottom should be punished.
    It's so sad.

I would rather go outside than in one of those disgusting plastic closets - you can't even breathe in there.

I'd love to know the tax money differential between the cost of the broken lock and the cost of arresting him

Has anyone considered posting the addresses of the mayor, the council members, the police chief so the homeless can💩 on their step. I think this group would find it is a far viably healthier solution for the community to use the porta potty system.

These homeless advocates should take one or two homeless into their homes, and let us know how it goes. Show us that compassion by personal example.
Street homeless are fentanyl addicts, and they destroy everything around themselves.

He spoke for an hour at my school, he's literally helped run a camping ground for homeless people that includes settling fights lmao

Double edged sword. Allow it, and word gets out and its a free for all. Dont allow it and you're "heartless." Regardless, they were the rental and property of a private entity who had the right to lock them. Cutting them was a crime.

Cody really missed the opportunity to walk into the porta potty and take a piss at the end of the sign off when he said “for anyone to use”

And it makes you wonder just where does that money go if they're not helping the homeless

there is a catch 22 here. If the city helps the homeless, then word will get out and the homeless will flock in. If they do not help them, they are misrepresented and mistreated. The restrooms on the trails where I live are open to the public, but only during daylight hours and only if there is someone working to come by and unlock them, which doesn't always happen. More churches should fund some of these things instead of building big fancy meeting places for them to gather and collect more money to build bigger fancier meeting places.. It is insane!!!

These are those who have the wrong definition of the Church- it’s a way of being NOT a go- to place where they hustle people for tithes and offerings for their own benefit- when a person is born again spiritually he/ she is the Church- we must BE born again!!!

This is nothing but religiosity!!! Making godS out of their own SELF image- Jesus Christ was a street evangelist and only went to the temple built by mans hands when God the Creator- His Father warranted it

Businesses hate the homeless. Mobile downtown is the same way. City does almost nothing to help them, state offers limited resources to help

Equal protection of our own at-will employment laws for unemployment compensation could solve this problem in market friendly manner.

They are vulnerable, you are right. It is a shame, you are correct. What is also disturbing is how we have changed the spelling of behavior to "behaviour." What is that about?
