My endgame build is just building into summons skills, using the one rune that gives you a 40% bonus to summons damage (at the cost of 40% damage for your own attacks). Add speed and dashes like you said to stay alive while the summons kill everything.
and my favorite build after trying few heros - ninja with move speed, bleed and some skill that leaving spinning attacks behind me. It is the only time i was running around red arena in first time playing hero, and bosses with over billions hp dies in another part of arena, i don`t even seen the last bosses, but one time poison boss just leave poison in half of arena, and i have no more place to run, and i died from it. Can i get some regeneration in future after "few hp for lvl up"?
as 2nd day player i have few questions. 1 - did multicast work after 100% few times some of my skills has over 150% multi cast and i don`t know if it can do x3 or not. 2nd - to play after 10 stages, against bosses with over billions xp, i have to do build with debuffs? i try few times to do phis build but its so lond to kill even start bosses.
my usual build is using multi-hit/low-CD skills that inflict some status (e.g. storm of spears, radiant light) + a skill that deals more damage for each stack of the status (e.g. subdue, arcane blade)
So question about pets and summons. When a level up skill says damage YOU do can apply poison say. or Increase Crit Chance. Does this apply to pets or only skills you cast that do damage directly? I find it hard to know how to scale necromancer summons when these kind of skills pop up
Instead of defense i just add smite to my builds early on and level it heavily while also focusing on burn damage, smite heals you and at high multi cast and aoe, eith good armour and max hp, you effectively become immortal in low and mid endless runs, and on hgoh it's far easier to survive.
I'm new to the game, is there any penalty in resources upon death? I'm a little confused about blue portal, why would I choose it, when I can go red (for example) and farm more?
I don't believe you lose anything when you die. It is logged as a victory if you make it through the last round of bosses. Going through a portal starts a "new" run which you will either win or lose and it will be logged as such. I think it's just to give you options. I wish they would give you more information on that. It's still in early access so I'm sure they are working on those little details. :)

Nice! I'll have to upload some of the busted builds I've found so far :)
Mentioned all of my tips as well basically :D Great video!
Nice! I think there's a lot of fun strategy possible in this game!

Very nice! That would do some nice damage!

At the time of this video it counted for your summons abilities as well. You'll see the AOE of skills your pets use get bigger
