One thing that is easy to do is to buy gift cards for your purchases. Put the designated amount on a grocery card, gas card, etc. Works a charm. Thanks for reminding me of being fiscally responsible. I’m going to start cutting back on all my frivolous spending. This was a bad summer, my husband passed away and I think that I temporarily lost my mind🤣. But I’m back now and ready to be responsible. You’re an inspiration.

Hey Nia. Love that you are looking into purchasing a home. I know you must miss living in a house cause your last one was gorgeous. You should see if the NACA program has a location near you. I know they have some in NYC area. You can go in as a first time buyer since it's been 3 years since you've purchased a home. $300 is not a lot for groceries for 2 people. The eating out is kinda high tho. Meal planning helps. Keep striving for better. It's hard out here on these blvds lol.

Happy Wednesday! I needed this video today! I miss the fall weather of Jersey (that's home), currently in El Paso, Tx. I don't do my fall clothes switch out until first week of Nov... And we don't feel real winter until beginning of January. We are still having low to mid 90s weather. After blistering heat, I am really looking forward to the cooler months. Kids are on a 2wk fall break since they've been in school since July, so we're using the first week to quarterly deep clean their rooms.

@@NiaNicole Yup that's desert weather for you lol. Our school does extended year. The kids go to school from last week of July to first week of June. It used to be August -May. Summer is just 6 weeks the other 6 weeks they would've had is split 2wks each for fall, winter, and spring. I thought we would hate it but turned out to be a good change.
Im with you girl. This El Paso weather is something else. Coming from NY I miss the coolness of fall. We get 3 seasons a day but it's still hot at night. Crazy.
@@cynthiamckinstry1269 Exactly!!! I'm already thinking about the rain & hail storm that usually shows up right before Halloween too lol Before we came to EP we were in Germany. Our first year here, my kids were so appalled that it was still warm and there was no snow🤣
@@Joizygyrl926 yeah the hail storms are crazy because they come while it's hot. I've been here 4 years now and still don't wear a coat. It's an adjustment but it's a nice place to live.

Please do not donate to Goodwill it's all for profit. Check with women's shelter or call foster home office and inquire about making donations for foster parents to have extra clothes available when they need something as many of the kids are dropped off without notice.

Hi Nia, Yes, it's getting chiller here in Eastern Washington state. It kind of turned chilly earlier this fall. Sometimes it's stayed hot till the end of September, in the old days! Yes we pay around $300 for us for 2 weeks & there's only 5 or 6 bags. My husband shops & he's very frugal! Then he'll go & get milk & bread, eggs, butter, etc the basics & he has beer & I get zero Gatorade. We both like milk too. But the Gatorade has helped me to lose weight! I was up to 265lbs & I'm down now 208lbs. It took me about 2yrs. It came off slowly. So far keeping it off! We do get tv dinners sometimes & go out to eat once in awhile! But boy has the prices gone up on everything! So it's a treat when we go out to eat! Do you work with stocks or have gold? We do & my husband is really into it the past few yrs! He's a very good business man! Some great ideas. Maybe go to thrift stores & see what they have. Sometimes you can get some clothes that still have their tags on!
