- This video is a complete camera test of tecno camon 30, this phone is the only budget device offering optical image stabilization at low price. Techno camon 30 camera is very capable with 50 megapixel sensor and some software tuning. In this video we will discuss following aspect of techno camon 30 camera.
Daytime Photography:
Camon 30 camera take very bright and colourful photos in daylight. if we talk about it's main camera which takes good pictures with plenty of details and good colours as it is 50 megapixel we can zoom up to 10x and results are fairly good. But I have noticed camera processing starts to go away after we zoom more than 1x.
Portrait mode:
tecno camon 30 has a dedicated portrait mode for taking human portraits. Camon 30 tends to over expose in portrait mode but this camera takes good quality pictures with good exposure and average dynamic range. At 1x pictures are sharp with good details and good edge detection. At 2x zoom level portrait mode takes a little bit soft images with decent edge detection and colors starts to fall apart at 2x so I will recommend you to take pictures at 1x for best possible results.
Daytime videography:
In broad day light tecno camon 30 camera takes very colourful and bright videos but stabilization seems to be bit lacking despite of having OIS. Camon30 can shoot up to 2k 30 FPS videos from its camera. It's stabilization feature only works at 1080p 30fps so I have tested 1080p 30 FPS videos without stabilization turned on. Results are good considering it's price as it's OIS helps to stabilize footage.
Lowlight photography:
At low light camon camera has dedicated night mode which is also triggered automatically in camera to ensure maximum bright pictures at dark. I have took multiple shots and it's main camera takes good quality shots with good details, decent colour accuracy and pictures are not shaky thanks to it's optical image stabilization.
Lowlight Portrait mode:
Tecno camon 30 can shoot portrait photos in low light but the results are not very impressive as picture quality starts to fall apart even with flash light so I will not recommend you to take low light portrait shots with techno camon 30 camera.
Lowlight Videography:
In lowlight and tricky lighting conditions tecno camon 30's main camera shoots decent videos at 1080p 30fps without stabilization turned on results are good considering its price tag. One thing I have notice mostly phones video quality starts to follow part in low light if we turn on stabilization mode but this phone took almost same videos with and without stabilization mode which is a good thing.
Lowlight selfies:
Camon 30 front camera take decent shots even at very low light environment. It's front camera also has screen light up feature to replicate front flash for taking bright pictures at low light which comes very handy. It also has Physical front flash with warm and cool functionality, we can also adjust it's luminosity. So low light selfies came out standing.
It's not a camera test it's a camera zoom test

This is the worst phone I have ever used.
When typing it glitches and misses some keystrokes, and sometimes it just input a totally different character. I have tried it without any screen protector, paper etc as well, and I have already tried changing the keyboard apps.
When browsing it lags the page loads, and when scrolling sometimes the screen stucks for a second.
Multi apps usage has been worst.
When you install more apps even in 256GB variant, whole phone lags while being used.
This is my personal experience with this phone, I'm using 12/256 GB variant.
