Great info, I have purchased a FD1 for fishing, however I have only been able to calibrate it and the fly about 20 yards before the "Battery Low" indicator came on and the battery won't charge. Have been attempting to correct this issue with the company for over 2 weeks, to no avail. Buy at your own risk.
It looks' like they cheaped out on the controller for this model. Other models from this manufacturer had much more robust controllers - and they were waterproof. What gives?
@@Swellpro why? For ten years now DJI drones find GPS anywhere without calibration. I own five of them and have never had to do a compass calibration ever no matter how far I travel. Your drones are more expensive but perform very poorly in comparison.

What is nice about this drone it uses a standard XT60 connection. You can likely find compatible aftermarket batteries pretty easily.
What is the max distance it can fly out to?

cheaped out on everything ... the software is ten years out of date, no Glonass and the compass is dodgy.
Does it come with a camera?
and what about the atti and headless modes? Thought this was meant to be a tutorial? Are they just for show?

So after you turned it off at the end of the video, do you have to recalibrate it again when you switch it back on?? Buy one tomorrow!!!! Can’t wait.
if you fish in the same place, you don't need to recalibrate it.
In the manual it says to pare the unit with the remote first,is this not necessary?
I got my drone recently… does the firmware need to be updated? If so, how?
The drone has been upgraded at the factory, and it can be used normally without further upgrading
