I think P5 had the only straight up killable final boss... And that's likely because Yaldabaoth was: A. A completely fake god born out of mass delusion and human wishes gone wrong. B. An existence completely dependent on the metaverse to even exist at all, and where human will could directly interfere with him. Cue Joker's Satanael sized bullet to the head. But yeah, P5 aside, final bosses in Persona are straight up unkillable gods.... freaking scary tbh.

This boss theme is very memorable to me because of the struggle I went through to survive Nyx Avatar's final phase, where it would mostly use Moonless Gown and Night Queen.
Moonless Gown wasn't annoying to me at all since when he goes into that phase it saves my party time to heal up and if they attack him they take null damage since they are immune to their own attacks. It's Night Queen that'll screw you over since it'll do a ton of damage and put aliments on you and your party so you better hope for the best you weren't charmed or enraged because it's annoying that Nyx will use Night Queen then he'll do an almighty attack that'll do so much damage since you are affected by an aliment.

I played on P3P does nyx got easier ? i legit think he is not that hard when you always keep buff on you (like in every persona... i hope they'll change the battle system because it's almost always the same strategy)

Later this year marks the ten-year anniversary of completing the game for the first and only time. Took me TWO HOURS to beat Nyx, and I intend on doing it again on that day. Still the greatest game I've ever played. Not the best, but it did more things for me and my life than any other game has before or since.

of the persona final boss themes, this by far the best one. 4's was lacking in energy and good beats 5's was pretty good but 3 radiates with final boss, and it means it
It's more like this for me: 3: you can feel how much is on the line. 4: Mist/Fog was good but after after it felt like nothing was on the line. 5: it felt personal for the final fights.

If anyone knew how to remain faithful to the original OST, it was him- the problem is that it's hard to be faithful and innovative at the same time, so the result can only be a "worse" version of the original. It's way too hard to better something that's already that good.

As someone who beat this game last week, this might very well be my favorite final boss theme.
to be honest i found out persona by the music because i was looking at cool rpg music and this id by far the most epic ost of all of the personas
Man..I may love persona 4’s cast the most but persona 3 is without a doubt my favorite game of all time.
I remembered all the pain the Boss gave me especially when he charmed aigis and then used mediarahan on him in the last phase

I have a personal headcanon that door-kun was cursed to die at some point because housing death for years would have some side effect.
And the graduation was his last day. And the entire is just him living his last days to the fullest.
That’s why his design is so gloomy, cause he’s a dead man walking, until he awakens to his persona.

Well as much as thing song bangs, I didn’t get to hear it for long because Nyx fell in like 20-25 minutes thanks to my Messiah’s Ragnarok boosted with Fire Amp and Magic Skill Up

If you fight Nyx without grinding in Monarch, you got the same experience hear the soundtrack extended version. That was what i did in my 1st play, waste me an hour to beat one.

p3 nyx is just a Cthulhu-esce being having similarities to the nyx in mythos.

To be fair, how do you rearrange a song like this? A masterpiece will always be a masterpiece. It's slightly unfair to the new one- at least they tried remaking it from scratch.

@@zeroexe592 That is exactly how it went, yes. The composer was Atsushi Kitajoh, who worked alongside Meguro a myriad of times for many games. If anyone knew how to remain faithful to the original OST, it was him- the problem is that it's hard to be faithful and innovative at the same time, so the result can only be a "worse" version of the original. It's way too hard to better something that's already that good.
