I really really dig the new cheap wagon. The 70s car with the rear sun roof was the vista cruiser, I've seen a couple, but not many with the cool glass roof......the rear rumble seat looked like it never got sat in.....too bad the rims didn't bolt right on, that would have looked soooo cool Only thing you need to do to that white car is clean it up, and rims(maybe lower it), and a nice sounding exhaust. The wood trim to match your racecar would just make for coolest pictures.
I've built a couple LS engines in my garage so I understand the gist of things, nothing on your level but I always wondered.. when you have something like that happen where spark plug fails and you're in the middle of a run how does that not completely hydraulic a cylinder when it's just pumping fuel with no combustion now .. or is it kind of like a diesel at that point at such a high RPM where it's still combustible cuz it's already so hot going full tilt I just figured it would be bad end result but I've had it happen to me before when I melted plug wires on drag week and was ok too
aaaah ......The days of the Family Truckster...... took my driving test in 72 in one of those rolling pigs..... obviously not a 90s vintage.... parallel parking as part or the test.....

I am a big fan of both of your wagons. The untouched one, put a spicier set up under the hood, maybe tighter suspension. Use it as a cruiser with a bit of go when you want it. I had many years ago a 58 wagon made by Holden (GM here in Australia). God I miss it. It looked like smaller 55 chev.
Gm calls that top glass a "Vista roof", and it has retractable sun shades just below it. They are standard on all the Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac versions of the wagon. Only the Caprice came without it

KEEP IT MAN.
we had a friend that had a chevy caprice wagon....454 way back in the day......reverse seat too...
I really really dig the new cheap wagon. The 70s car with the rear sun roof was the vista cruiser, I've seen a couple, but not many with the cool glass roof......the rear rumble seat looked like it never got sat in.....too bad the rims didn't bolt right on, that would have looked soooo cool
Only thing you need to do to that white car is clean it up, and rims(maybe lower it), and a nice sounding exhaust.
The wood trim to match your racecar would just make for coolest pictures.
I've built a couple LS engines in my garage so I understand the gist of things, nothing on your level but I always wondered.. when you have something like that happen where spark plug fails and you're in the middle of a run how does that not completely hydraulic a cylinder when it's just pumping fuel with no combustion now .. or is it kind of like a diesel at that point at such a high RPM where it's still combustible cuz it's already so hot going full tilt I just figured it would be bad end result but I've had it happen to me before when I melted plug wires on drag week and was ok too
It's so great how exited you with that $600 wagon. I love it. Make 12v cummins manual tow crew car out of it.
Have you tested different plugs on the Dino to see if there is any power difference between Between brands
aaaah ......The days of the Family Truckster...... took my driving test in 72 in one of those rolling pigs..... obviously not a 90s vintage.... parallel parking as part or the test.....
The Rumble seat was for you and your gal at the local drive-in theater, or the sunset, or the beach for lunch. You should take your laptop in the rumble chair and review your track data in comfort, make it into a mobile studio for the channel!
Growing up we called it the way back seat. Always the most favorite!
Eric Foreman from that 70's show had the Vista Cruiser that has the sunroof for the back seat as well.
😂😂😂 good buy Steve, watching you is like seeing a kid in a candy store. That car is going to a great home and good luck this weekend 👍 🏁🏁
Only the Caprice came without it
The Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser from the 70s had the bubble window like that Oldsmobile station wagon you have there.
I had a NGK -8 came apart @ Kansas speedway at testing and some of the plug got n and smashed a ring land !! I talked some of the tunes for the rentals I had 7 great plug and this bad one they all said that it is rare but had seen it
Early morning coffee with knowledge/content from Steve 👌🏼 perfect morning
Grew up in a 73 Mercury Montego wagon with a similar rear seat. Good times
All those wheels and tires and the 2nd row seats were still up! Imagine the room with that folded down! Never had a B body wagon, but have wanted one for years. Too bad they're all rusted out and beat up here in Michigan. I'll have to make due with my 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T.
Cool unit. Dual action tailgate I've never seen before. It's basically a 1993-1994 Holden VP Wagon to anyone from Oz.
man i think its is the earliest ive ever commented into a video 0:50 wow never seen that before, that amazing in a way. thx for sharing as always!
Paint the new wagon to match the race car, add some one ton truck suspenders, get a REALLY dolled up open trailer, and use it to haul & display with the Boostmaster for car shows & such..
Man. Such a killer time to be involved in racing. Everyone getting along. Everyone in other UA-cam channels. Just a bunch of folks enjoying life.
Wow beautiful station wagons !!! Ready for you and your friends to start making spark plugs .
That Vista Cruiser is you , that’s what that fixed sunroof is called . Way to go , now a side by side pass with Dave’s Corvette please . :-)
Are you in longboat key, on the side of the road showin off the white pearl? I swear i just had a rental 2 mins from there.
Steve that sunroof is a repeat of what olds did back 8n the late 60s and early 70s on the Vista cruisers
My dad had a wagon like your Steve it had the 4.3 v8. Lots of family vacations to the beach in that car
company bought my mom new wagons when i was a kid and she got one exactly like yours with the wood grain. it had a 5.7 tpi with limited slip from factory, it was a corvette with a wagon body. haha
that seat is awesome, that car is a fat ride , i had a 76 thunderbird wish i still had it
That rear tailgate I would like to see in person to see how the heck they did that, but a long way to go from Australia. Love this channel and steve and sons personality's
Reading comics and making faces at traffic in the back of a '74 Chrysler Town and Country with the 440 rumbling under us. I just remembered that, funny.
Is that Bradenton beach area? Holmes beach? Heading to Coquina/Longboat Pass?
Anna Maria
Damn, the SM action blew the core right out of the porcelain! If that's not a statement to true power I don't know what is... Your sales are about to soar bro! Lol
Sick week you got to love it! Follow as many vids as racers post! Steve and Kyle absolutely enjoy your machine and racing videos thanks!! Be safe in your travels!
Yea Steve, when the center of the spark plug blows out, then it’s just a plug, sorta, with a hole in it. Lol Thanks for sharing
