After this new Update they removed the duration setting. This is pissing me off. Hope we find a work around none drift maps works anymore. FH5 is a complete joke
What they need to do is allow the creator to lock objects together to get a perfectly smooth finish. It'd make track creation so much faster and simpler. The only thing keeping me from making tracks is the ungodly long time it takes to test and refine each bit of the track because even with the most patience and skill, you'll still have some crappy bumps that throw your line off. Or, even better, make a proper cdk that allows you to make tracks without being in game and having it crash when you're just about done.
Horizon 6 should just have a custom track builder instead of having to tediously clone and rotate thousands and thousands of pieces of track. it took me forever to make simple walls and barriers on pre-existing roads so massive props for everyone that builds full fledged tracks 👍

This feature is such a disappointment! They could have made something ground-breaking and clearly the groundwork is there, but the fact you have to go through all these hoops just to make a track and you can't change the start and end points, and you can't make it a circuit to allow for multiple laps, and then building a track is just done by placing objects down and pretending that it's a road, is so dumb! I was trying to make my own track, and I saw just how little the player has to work with, and I thought, "what were they thinking!?" "How did they not think that people would just want to make their own custom tracks?" "Why are there so few options and objects given to the player?" Clearly the developers didn't make this feature for this purpose, they meant for the player to sprinkle objects within the open world and be creative that way. But damn, they really missed a huge opportunity here. And it's so dumb because this issue could be mostly fixed if they just had more objects that supported the idea of creating a race track from scratch. More types of ramps, actual flat pieces of tarmac / dirt road / wet tarmac, and more ways of manipulating and morphing the objects, but what's here just isn't cutting it. What they should have done is made a separate mode that focused on creating tracks, and having custom games where you can invite your friends and race them on your custom track, then race other people on other custom tracks that other people made, basically the forza version of Halo's forge mode, And yes, that is technically possible in this game, but the lack of features and overall jankiness in the blueprint builder mode really highlights the developer's lack of understanding of what people would want out of a creative mode like this. To me, thinking that people want a mode like what I just described seems so obvious, and yet, we didn't really get that. We basically got the creative mode from Trials, that motorcycle game, inside of forza. But that level of depth in a creative mode isn't sufficient here because forza's gameplay is in 3D, and the tools we got only allow us to effectively work in 2 dimensions, while leaving the 3rd dimension basically impossible to make good use of.They didn't give the player enough tools to allow effectively and efficiently creating an interesting play space with any subtle characteristics of verticality, when it relates to creating a track with banked corners, uphill and downhill sections, elevation changes, and subtle bumps in the track, which are key components to creating an interesting race track. Overall, I think the devs seriously missed out on creating an absolutely killer feature that would have blown everything else out of the water.

How do you edit the track after saving? I tried making a track last night and saved it but didn’t publish cuz I wasn’t finished with the scenery and now I can’t finish it..? I can only edit the blueprint settings and not the track itself, am I just blind?
Hmmm. I have 2 questions after fiddling around with it myself I don't think its possible, but can you edit the cars the AI will drive in (as in manually pick for 1 - 11 AI players, not just set a class restriction) and can you create a 3-track championship yourself with a point-based scoreboard etc, like what you have to complete 3-times weekly for the playlist. That kind of championship. Would be neat.

how did you turn off a duration i made a drift track and it ends after 25 seconds becasue it wont let me set a duration on it and now i cant even use it
U didn't create a track, u created a route and then created an event with that route. Forza Is weird Go back to where u made the track, make a new route, like one checkpoint long, then go to create event from that route, then when creating the event, change the route to the one u made your track on, then go into event settings, turn of duration and turn all ai off
I strongly agree with you. PASTING is no were to be found either, IT IS A BASIC TOOL USED FOR LAYING DOWN ELEMENTS CONSECUTIVELY, and the devs forgot to add it in.
Missing features in Blueprint Builder: 1. No pasting 2. No grouping 3. No tool for laying lines of objects for long distances 4. Platforms, walls and fences have no attachment nodes like the Hot Wheels roads.

That’s cuz your using the start line as the finish line. You must place a finish line at this point in time

At this point you currently cant change anything once you hit finish on the track side unfortunately

Dude that's not how to make a drift track. That's how to make a track. Cuz for a drift track it needs the thing that gives you points for drifting
