We're excited to dive into this because the actor playing the villain is someone we really love to hate. If you haven’t already the “Fallout series” has some engaging trailers to react to even if you haven’t played the games.
On our list to check out we haven’t seen any yet 🙃
There’s a character in the game Fallout: New Vegas that perfectly matches what you were discussing about respectable villains.
His name is Caesar and he leads the Roman-inspired Caesar’s Legion.
To keep it as short as possible (and not spoil), Caesar has carried out numerous atrocities over the course of decades.
That’s not even me calling them that - he literally describes his elite spies as capable of committing “dramatic atrocities to break the spirit of the enemy”.
Thing is, he’s so well-spoken and intelligent that it’s hard not to see where he’s coming from.
If you haven’t played New Vegas, I definitely recommend!
We haven’t played. Fallout is a franchise we plan on covering at some point 😎

Fallout 1 has a very similar type of villain: The Master.
Again, I won’t spoil too much - but it’s hard not to see where he’s coming from.
He’s in the wrong, considering oversights in his plan; as well as the methods by which he hopes to realize his goal.
However, it’s possible to confront him with these oversights and he legitimately expresses remorse.... making it even easier to sympathize with him.
Heads up: Fallout 1 and 2 (as well as Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel, but those get.... swept under the rug) are VERY different from 3, New Vegas, 4, and 76.
Loved your reaction to the Farcry 6 videos. So the actor that plays the villian is Giancarlo Esposito. He was also in the Mandalorian series. I agree He does a really good job playing a villain role.
We always think of him from Breaking Bad and completely forgot he was in Mandalorian even though he was great in that too 😎
There’s a far cry 6 trailer specifically focussing on the main villain Anton Castillo which is so good and you need to react to it

Maybe you already did, but if not, you should to watch three Borderlands opening scenes from the Borderlands 1,2 and 3 (and maybe opening scene from the Borderlands the Pre-Sequal)

Right, enough jokes....at this point I dont really know if you wantched more of FarCry tarilers before, but if not, highly recommend it. Specially the one with Vaas IRL made shorts called Vaas Montenegro Experience.

Im glad they brought back the pre set protagonist because i wasnt a fan of farcry 5
The only issue I had with it was that your protagonist was silent and that was about it overall I enjoyed the game

That was our favorite too. Such a powerful story in that trailer it was like the opening to a movie. We did enjoy the gameplay trailer because we aren’t familiar with Far Cry so it was cool to see what the game was like. This seems like a game we would enjoy playing together 😊🥳

OMG!!!!! this one had me DROOLING 🤣🤣🤣 I wanna send Ubisoft the BIGGEST love letter 🤣 Far Cry 3 was my favorite for a long time but this looks like it blow it away COMPLETELY!!!!! in fact speaking of Far Cry there are TWO Far Cry anime series in development at Netflix, from the creator of the Castlevania anime series the first one is called Captain Laserhawk A Blood Dragon Remix. Which will be based on the dlc Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon as for the second we actually don't know what game the other one will be based on but Far Cry will release Oct 7th, have you guys played any of them? If you haven't guess what you NEED TO!!!!! start with 3

Just so you guys know I’m planning to get far cry 6 on Xbox when it goes on sale or a Ubisoft publisher sale because I would love to see the graphics and the high frame rate on Xbox series x and assassins creed Valhalla on xbseriesx looks amazing and the graphics are just phenomenal so I would love to play it on my new series x

That's more Like it !! A STORY, well unlike the 5th one I dont get the Story is it about the Country? The People? Religion? I think it's all about religion, but that's not what FARCRY is... it's about The STORY.. Not YOU'RE story.. not that making Avatars sht~ not to mention the So Called Protagonist/Main Character, is a Mute no Offense, it's a Good graphic Game.. but man~ it's soulless.

Farcry is basically focused on villian more than protagonist
Thats why its different from other game series
Although I'm getting the feeling that this Far Cry is giving the protagonist a stronger presence in the narrative.

Starting from farcry 3, this series has the best villains in any game. Would love to see you guys go back and see the villains from farcry 3,4 and 5.

Far Cry is always about charismatic villains, we haven't had an interesting protagonist since Jason Brody (Typical California dude-bro turned savage jungle warrior). Since then they've been making blank slate protagonists and focusing on characterizing the villain which is why Giancarlo Esposito is perfect for the role.
Micheal Mando who you prolly know as a fellow cast member from Better Call Saul also got his start here. They always portray the villain as sadistically evil or insane up to a point and then peel away the layer away to show how the systems human beings create facilitate evil and even how sometimes evil is necessary and a part of everyone even the protagonist. Works sometimes better than others because Ubisoft games are 50/50 from a writing perspective, but this is the only franchise they make that I still have genuine interest in.
That’s cool. We’ve heard they have compelling villains. Hopefully this protagonist is better because we like her from what we’ve seen 😁🙏🥳

Fun fact:
Far cry 6 takes place in "Yara"
a fictional place heavily inspired by Cuba.
This makes the game better for me, as its my dad's birth place.
I also have 3 little dachshunds as seen in the second trailer, just not on wheels.
You ever go to Cuba or Florida, try out a Cuban Sandwich, or make it at home, assuming you can get or make Cuban bread.
Also, yes, you can use cigars and unlit matches to help with open wounds. the heat help seals and solidifies a layer of blood i belive.

Hope there won't be eagles. Seriously how many eagle attacks do you know? FC4 after scouting whole camp and sneaking pretty well. The gameplay is great in this, story is pretty engaging, but then it just ends, no resolution. I got about 70 hours out of it and the DLC tied up some loose ends for the older games.
OH i know its old but you should really look into farcry 4 trailer. and also the Final Fantasy "Lightning returns", easily the coolest two from the last decade.
