- Uncle Si has a lot in common with his new sister in Christ, Martin’s wife, Brittany. Brittany opens up about some parts of her life’s journey that led her to the baptistry recently, and Si insists he knew that she was the one for Martin the first time they met. Martin once performed a possum relocation wearing nothing but his hospital briefs after a very personal surgery, and John-David is both proud and exhausted by his son’s school antics. Si is reminded of his own delicate surgery during which he went feral on the orderlies, though the anesthesia wiped his memory.

I was able, and honored to baptize my wife 3 yrs ago. I can tell you the difference I see in her now. Her parents always tell my wife now, that she has a peace about her, and they wish her twin sister could get that peace. I baptized my daughter last yr also. What a blessing.

Beautiful episode
This was one of my favorite episodes. My husband and I listen every Tuesday and Thursday night to get our laughter in. I missed it last night so listened this morning. Every story was great! You guys have the best stories. From the twin story to possums, baptism and children's homework! Thanks for entertaining us with your lives. ❤
I just love this podcast. I had a possum that made a nest in the engine compartment of our spare car. Scared the daylights of my poor friend that came to help me get it started. He thought I put the thing in there! It hissed and drooled all over the place. My friend finally pulled it out of my car and let it run out in the orchard.
I can say why I watch! I love Uncle Si! You guys are funny, and I enjoy hearing ya'lls stories. There is a LOT of testosterone on the show so I do enjoy the break when the wives are on girling it up (even Alison being lost with no schedule lol), but I'm a mom of two boys so I'm used to guy stuff.

Not to be a downer, but Brittany’s fire story really hits home today. My Grandfather’s home exploded and was engulfed in flames. He’s in a burn unit right now fighting. 92 years old and fighting. This show really helps. 🙏

I've made pets out of many baby possums I've found over the years. They can learn to use a litter box, ans walk on a leash and also will keep your house pest free. Also fun fact, if you bathe them a couple times a month they naturally smell like popcorn😂😂

I think getting baptized is a necessity, but it's not where salvation resides. You have to be born again, otherwise you're going down a dry sinner, and coming up a wet one. We are not saved by works, but our works will follow.

Baptism is a public proclamation of what Christ has already done in our lives by being baptized in The Holy Spirit. The moment we repent and proclaim Jesus as Lord, we are changed and saved.
