Sorry for my audacity... this exhibition seemed to me a farewell with praise for the simple world of Nature and color, always triumphant and personal by David Hockney, as it has been for years, but with a concession to future generations in which brushstrokes, like a last veiled message, a request to open your eyes and see what is beautiful in the world. It is a positive message, from the wisdom of the age, perhaps this is what makes me sad as well. I would like to give a hug to this great man who has taught us to approach a new world of colors.
There have been very few artists of Hockney's caliber that have been as prolific as him, not to mention a continually evolving style. He is truly amazing.
It is immaterial to label art as soulless because it is ‘digital.’ Surely any price of art (or true art in its truest form and intent) has soul and should come from one’s soul. Whether the artist ‘chooses’ to work in analogue or digital is moot. Hockney is one of the greatest artists of our time, whether he opts to paint traditionally or to experiment with new technology. Great art should always raise questions and garner opinions.
Wow , such a great collection 🎉 , I think Hockney is now an international “treasure” !

Master of color and light. Love his clean colours and enthusiasm for simple sights!
Thanks!! I particularly enjoyed when the camera slowed down - and zoomed in - enabling us to take in Hockney's delightful brush strokes.
I love the bigger collage paintings,so colourful and happy,he is such a great artist.
Bravo ! Lleno de sencillez y color !
Amazing. Thanks ❤

Muchas gracias, muy agradecido
I love David Hockney and thank you for this presentation. The background music, not so much.
❤
Pretty good. The ninja turtle movie looks a little like your work.
Digital prints??
I would like to show at pace gallery
What are iPad paintings...how are they created for a canvas?
Nice. At 8:40, is that a painting?
It was not an oil painting. It was the printed Ipad drawing.
Amazing and no oil paint...
Digital “art” looks incredible flat (and not in a good way) and soulless.
