Jordan - Palestine Police Prepare To Enter Jericho

(8 May 1994) The first members of the newly-formed Palestinian police force
arrived at the Jordan River on Sunday (8/5), ready to cross and
take control in the Jericho area after 27 years of Israeli
military occupation. The battalion was armed with M-16 rifles.
