@@kingsalami217 I have yeah, everything just makes it drop quite a bit. It’ll flatten out a little when you’ve been in an area for a minute but eventually will start again while adventuring. I’m reinstalling everything tonight to see if that makes a differencne
@@kingsalami217 well I have it where the only Skyrim part HUD is the time of day, everything else is just as oblivion was but running smoothly so hey this’ll do
Thanks man! worked great although I had to put the sky OBSE folder in the data folder as well as the oblivion folder like you said to someone below then it worked - I have it installed on the micro sd so could be something to do with it but it now works, cheers again!
Thanks for the tutorial. I got the vanilla oblivion northern ui to work with the buttons showing by setting the controller layout to game pad with joystick just like you did in this video and it works perfectly.
Try putting the sky OBSE folder in the data folder as well as the oblivion folder. Once the northern ui is working If you look later into the video I turn the sensitivity up
Followed every step to the T, but only partly worked for me. I have the NorthernUI clock, but the rest of the UI / inventory is just normal oblivion - any ideas?
@@kingsalami217 Thank you my man. No stress if it doesn't work, I have a decent control set-up for vanilla Oblivion anyway so it isn't the end of the world if I can't get this to work
Appreciate the content! I’ve tried the install a couple of times now, but right at the opening screen step shown at 8:40 I can’t tap “Play” on the screen or seemingly interact with that menu beyond moving the mouse pointer around. Seem stuck. Suggestions?
I have everything copied into the data and oblivion folder and I still am not getting the Skyrim style window. Only the clock on the top right. I didn’t miss anything.

@@kingsalami217I deleted all files, installed the game again and did what you said and it worked! The only thing I’m confused about is that on the Xbox version you were able to select skills on the D-pad as hotkeys, is this not available on PC mods?
@bittermushroom8046 the hot keys exist you see later in my video I show you how to set them up but it doesn’t work exactly the same but using the left track pad you can set up hot keys for up to 8 things

@@kingsalami217 yup I appreciate it, I had to walk outside and connect to my hotspot, copy and paste your code in the command line instead of typing it and it worked, only problem im running into now is my right stick is making my camera turn super slow and im tweaking that to figure it out.
Well that’s a new one and weird! Hmm is that in game or at the main menu? Also I know this sounds dumb but reboot you SD and try again and if it’s still doing I wonder if you could increase your sensitivity from steam controller settings and see if that would do the job. Instead of the in game sensitivity
@@kingsalami217 I ended up getting it working by editing the X and Y with the text file. It was buried deep in the following folder. I changed it from 1.0 to 3.5 for X, and 3.0 for Y home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/ compdata/22330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/ Documents/My Games/Oblivion/NorthernUl.ctrl.tvt

Replaying Oblivion on the Deck is in the backlog, and I will definitely be coming back to this video tutorial for the full setup.

Have you tried different proton layers maybe experimental or GE?

If anyone is getting low sensitivity, change the right joystick option to joystick mouse instead of joystick

I've gone through this tutorial 4 times and still not getting the UI or controller setup. Controller works but the right stick is slow. Any help?

Try holding the steam button and using the the right track pad and clicking it it
i have a issue when i open konsole on the Oblivion folder the terminal appear like this ~ instead of say Oblivion
