My father cleared all the debts which he owed, and than left India for Pakistan in 1976 March 16th, and the Pakistan Film Industry filed a false case against us that Noorjehan was a vulgar film ,and they said if Sheikh Mukhtar came to Lahore we will kill him, and thats why we went to Lahore to fight the case, and on firdt hearing the case of filed against us was tossed out. He did not die from a heart attack, we fllew in from Lahore in the night to karachi ,and next day he was sitting on the rocking chair and went into coma and passed away a peaceful death, not a suffering death. After 1967 release of Noorjehan, he produced Ustad Pedro (with Jr Mehmood) ,Guru Chela with Jr Mehmood again, and Daku Man Singh with Dara Singh and cleared all his debts and than left India For Pakistan. The Indian Film Industry should be grateful to him for paving the road for other Indian films who saw the release in Pakistan.He was 6ft 3inch taller than Amitabh also, a man of courage and heart of a Lion who made Noorjehan without any financers, with his own hard earned money.

Directed By Mehboob Khan..Then he never See back, His film were releasing and then he become producer Of his last film Noor Jehan and sad to say it was floop ,then he migrated to Pakistan to release the same Film Noorjehan before release he died, the film was released after his demise The film created a new record in box office in collection what ever the lost, occurred his film gain double Of it. But he was not alive. That was a tragedy of his life. But however Shaik Mukhtair will be remembered in Bollywood till it exist.
We should take the name of "Ustad Pedro " which was a superhit film of Shaikh Mukhtar. I had the opportunity of watching Mangu. Another hit film of Mukhtar sahab was "Do Ustad" starring Raj Kapoor, Madhubala and Shaikh Mukhtar. He was a big entertainer.
