Excellent job Roland. You are for sure one of the best interpreters of my music. Lots of heart and great technique/musicality. Thanks for playing my music so well.....
I've played this with 4.5 Marimba but it's possible to play with 4.3 octave - with offical permission by Ney Rosauro! ;-) So look the other three movements here on my channel too! Your daughter should enjoy this wonderful music and celebrate her performance with fun! Much success! :-)
Thanks for your comment Joe! Yes, I know it's fast - especially for the left hand. But it's possible and groovy in this tempo. This was also in consultation with the composer Ney Rosauro. And look the version by Evelyn Glennie here ua-cam.com/video/a5XzCujTnJ8/v-deo.html from 3:05 min. - it's faster! ;-) All best.

Muito bom 🥁
What size marimba is needed for this piece? My daughter is searching for a concerto for marimba and orchestra that can be played on a 4.3 octave.

what mallets are you using?
Product made in Netherlands by "ABC"-Mallets. ;-)Today I`m playing this music with custom made mallets by Vic Firth signature series "Ney Rosauro".
I played this. It seems too fast your version frankly. Technically very well done though.
