10 minutes vids is a no go nothing is like those 20 min videos you can eat dinner and watch after a long day of work
2 30 minute videos were top notch but, I understand how taxing that can be thanks for your videos, bro
I like the longer copart walk around
I'd go for it. You can probably get a replacement hood from a salvage yard. The rest you can repair or not repair depending on preference. The air conditioning may be expensive and I'd to plug an OBD scanner in, to see what the Check Engine light is for.
I would like to believe that I would. I can say I definitely would put my kid behind the wheel as a reliable car that I don't need to worry about getting dinged up.
No shame in driving a perfectly good car at a reasonable price in general. People are too vain nowadays
Are you ready, Love the new format! But I love any of your formats-wouldn’t miss a one!
I believe here in New York you have to repair or whatever but must go through a safety inspection before ensuring and registry
My answer is hail yeah!
Yes I would drive that Chrysler I’m ordering paint less equipment so I would take my time and work all the dents out 👍
I like the new shorter videos but I also like the longer ones too. But as a preference I would prefer the longer ones
I love every video you put out whether it's 10 minutes long or 30 minutes longer an hour long.
Just go to Pull a Part and buy a $75 hood and $50 truck kid and get it sprayed (if the wrong color)for $400, wrap the top black $50(diy) and you’ll be fine!🎉
Any car with hail damage, excluding broken glass with water intrusion, is a good deal. Think of them as parking lot dings, just a lot of them. 😁 For the right price that car could be driven till the wheels fall off.
Randy, yes I definitely drive it and change the windshield.
I ordered one of those booster packs the other day myself off Amazon cyber Monday sell !
Would I drive it yes, would I own it no. Had one as a company car & it was a gas hog & expensive maintenance.
I prefer the 30 min videos but it is your channel Randy. Keep up the good work!
Hello Randy. The 2019 Chrysler 300 S is a good looking car even though it's got hail damage. Yes I'd drive it.
I love how I can watch 1 Video while drinking my coffee, 1 Video at lunch, and one when I get home! Then when I'm bored I get some shorts to watch!
Randy, I'd definitely get the 300 if the price is right!
Here in CT you can’t register or insure a car with “salvage” on the title. However you can fix it and have a Salvage Inspection completed. Obtain a “rebuilt” title and you’re good to go. A bit of a process admittedly but still doable. They’re just sticklers about the inspection being done in CT.
I like the new format Rebuilds 👍
I want a dang 300 so bad. I got to drive one for a weekend a few years back and just fell in LOVE. I would even be ok with a V6 one but would prefer one with a V8. I would take that one hail damage and all and be happy. I can fix that damage myself. Sucks i have no money until my house sells. I shut down my business so I could pack and stuff in preparation. But I will get me one some day!
I had a 2015 300 and loved it…..was a great car
I lived in Florida and bought a car with a salvage title I don't remember if it was State farm or Allstate but they would not insure it at all. They said that the car had to be fixed and issued a rebuilt title in order to get liability coverage only. The fact that I would not be able to get full coverage even if I "fixed" the car discouraged me from buying another salvage/rebuilt title car. I'm glad I was able to get my money back for the car. As far as used cars. I'm currently driving a 2002 Honda Odyssey that I bought in 2010 with 90k miles. It's now clocking at almost 250k miles.
I'm of two minds about this new format. Maybe it's less frustrating for me and others who see you walk past cars that we might be interested in. But then again the short, focused reports three times a day is very ....almost enjoyable. Yes enjoyable . Is it good for you
(That's what she said)?
In MN they will cover salvage cars but if you get in a wreck.you don't get book value you get a check for rebuilt title price instead of a regular title price
I to prefer the long videos .
The only issue I have with the hail damaged car shown is the color…. if it was lighter color (think white) I might take a chance since I find hail damage tends to show less on lighter colors. Another option is to do a light all over light scuff/sand, skim coat the dents with polyester glazing, take to Maaco for basic reshoot. Make a good daily driver.
The issue with this car isn't that it has hail damage. The issue is that it's a Chrysler. 😆
Much love and support from Boston 💖 ❤️
Randy I had 2007 chevy cobalt, that had hail damage all over I drove that car for a good 9 Years, then I traded it in, I do miss that car, but I didn't mind the hail damage at all
Hey, Randy
It's all good am in allways love the content.
Longer vids man, the content is too entertaining to be just 10 mins ;). I feel like i'm just sitting down with my popcorn and then its over allready :(
Most of this Chryslers will start giving you codes due to bad 02 sensors but sometimes it could be something simpler
I like the longer videos and yes I would drive that Chrysler all day everyday
I would get one like that just so I could practice paintless dent repair.
Main issue I'd have with it is its trade-in value would be tanked due to all the cosmetic damage, so if you ever wanted to trade it in on something else down the line, you wouldn't really get sh** for it. From that angle it's a terrible investment. Now if you were going to hold onto it indefinitely and drive it until it expired, then it'd be worth considering.
I have no problem driving that car all day every day. I don’t know about insurance for a rebuild title here in NY
Some insurance companies do not offer full coverage on salvage, rebuilt titles.
If I could afford that car, I would drive that car. Thus, you being in New York and I'll tighten everything else up in the state that car will not bother me driving it at all with that hell damage i'd buffet out and be done with it. And just drive it full Sunday. Thanks for the video buddy keep up the good work and enjoy your videos
I buy the Chrysler 300.Nice cars. Nice job today Randy.
If I needed a long distance commuter, I would absolutely drive a hail car. The mileage would kill the value anyway and in lots of cases you don't even notice the hail damage unless you really look close. For PA, there is an enhanced inspection process that the car needs to go through to go from salvage to rebuilt. Some companies do not insure rebuilt title cars. I own 3 R title cars...you can save a ton of money buying an R title and after it has been reconstructed for a few years, most people don't care as much and the price differential becomes less of a factor.
All day every day and twice on Sunday. Yes, I would drive it.
I’d go for it i love those 300s!! Would be 1000% better if it was a hemi tho
Just on a curiosity, what would it cost for a hood, a trunk lid, then to get the roof PDR? As you say in your videos, you can go find a hood and a trunk lid the same color as what you have, and that car being black, should be a diamond dozen.
I would drive it just as it is i love Chrysler 300s i would love a 300c over the 300s but im not too picky i still love the body style
I had a Yukon that was rebuilt and I registered it & insured it no problem in Nebraska. I also had a Malibu that was salvage due to hail & I insured & registered it no problem! These people just be talking bs
I have a Jetta that has a rebuilt title there was no problem registering it in the state of Idaho
I can't remember if it was Geico or State farm but they said no and wouldn't insure a salvaged vehicle. Some places might charge more because it's salvaged you just have to call around
Being that I currently have a V8 300 and love it, yes I would drive this one for half the price and give the other a rest.
In pennsylvania had issues with showing our title vehicles but never getting a reconstructed title
I wouldn’t drive a Chrysler in the first place
I have a Rebuilt Nissan Altima, I have comprehensive insurance on mine. Kentucky. I know someone else that has full coverage on their rebuilt jeep. They said it was gap insurance or something, I’m not really sure.
I def would drive that, that V6 I did hear is a bit sluggish. But I’d still use it. Keep it up randy!
The 3.6 V6 runs 6 - 6.3 0-60 and 14.70's-14.90's in the 1/4 mile, depending on outside temp/density and elevation..Quick enough and you also get 34 mpg hwy,I bought and sold a lot of these..I ran a 2015 300 Limited at our local track in 2019 ,it felt quick so I had to try it (I know the owner of the track and my dealer is 5 minutes away form it)..It ran the same speed as an automatic 2005 4.6 Mustang GT,so take it as you want.
The older 2005-2010 with the 2.7 V-6 are sluggish..older 3.5 is decent, not as quick as the 3.6 but my experience.
I have had several insurance companies deny insuring me on rebuilt title car. When they don't ask abou the title I have no problem but when they ask and I tell them they say I cant do that.
Maybe some places insurance companies won’t do typical full coverage without a stipulation about value. They should all 100000% insure it with liability insurance
I don't know about these other people. What they're doing wrong. But from what I know in Pennsylvania? Where I live s title is not allowed on the road. No insurance, no registration, but Rebuilt title is treated just like clean. You can insure it, register it. No problem, currently going through it at the moment for the first time, no big deal. At all
hail damage! no prob..car runs great!...hi all the way from Belize central america...
i would drive it in a heart beat. a car gets me from point a to point b
Could you do a walk around of that white Ford Freestar van that was behind the black Chrysler
I purchased my spouses 2018 Decked out Subaru Crosstrek in 2019 with 3,600 miles on it from Copart with hail damage. Shipped to home and after a lot of Bondo.... 18,500 all said and done for a clean title car that was not salvaged somehow.
Nationwide Insurance will not insure a rebuilt/salvage title vehicle. It says on their website they will not insure them.
I have no problem in arizona with insuring salvage title cars.
Short videos are fine for me. Also would drive the wheels off this car. Why not?
Damn straight I'd drive that 300.
I don't give a shit what it looks like.
It's repairable.
Yes, I would drive it. And dependable.
Bought a 04 Chevy cavalier hell damage put away shield in it. What do you have answered spection? And the driver never sends. Only paid four hundred bucks for the car hundred fifty dollars for the windsher, Aren't put you down for the windshield. Hard all for the inspection and put over 60000 miles on it.
Ill drive it. I had a 2014 300s with the 3.6 it was nice. Just regular maintenance thats all. I traded it because I got in a wreck and the insurance company fixed it instead of totaling so I got rid of it.
My brother has a 2017 300 with a 3.6 with 115,000 miles zero issues with it at all, nothing! Oil changes and even has original front and rear brakes and spark plugs..I am doing the plugs next week(certified tech/mech former Toyota tech).
Here in New Jersey only a select few insurance companies will ensure a rebuilt title on my rebuilt title car. I cannot get full coverage only liability
I know allstate here in Texas will not give full coverage insurance on a rebuilt title since I have owned a few …. It definitely keeps me from buying more
I'd definitely drive that!
Check engine light on from dead battery. Experience from a 2019 300 owner
I thought you got that Impala cheap. It had crap all over the interior and you had to take it to the autospa. After that you decided you really liked it.
Yes I would drive it, no problem whatsoever
I would drive it if it's 65% off
Yes i would
I love the 300
Salvage or rebuilt titles in Maine can be a little harder to resell
I would drive a car with lots of hail damage but not one with an engine light on.
Randy, yes I would drive it
No problem in the uk salvage vehicles in the uk are categorised
Everytime Randy mentions or says the word "hail damage" take a shot of Whiskey (its a joke btw, not to be taken seriously)🤣
hey ram man that is for towing disconnects engine and gets it to free wheel .
Yes no problem I would love to buy it work on the dents later
Mr truck whom i got farm my dad when he passed broke down this morning
If I needed a car/truck really bad and didn't have a lot of money, I'd drive the hell out of it. If I had the money and the choice, probably not. That said, my wife is a licensed insurance agent and we live in Texas. I think ultimately, it comes down to specific insurance companies on whether or not they'll insure a vehicle with a salvage title. My wife has been able to write policies for vehicles that were salvaged, fixed, and had a new rebuilt title issued, but she's never been able to write a policy on a vehicle with a salvage title.
I would rather drive a Late model Impala over a 300C at half discount, and i almost snatched a 2016 Impala LTZ years ago with a 4 cyl in it during my pre car buying days.😂💯
I just wanted to ask do you sell cars from the auction to the public
Not bad four year old Chrysler 300 i think heil damage vehicle instead of a flooded or wrecked one.
I would buy it!! A little bond and paint!!!
YES I would drive it the way it is .
All day everyday 😊😊😊
Iv had one car with rebuilt title didn't have any problems with my car to insure it to get it legal
I would drive it where I use to live at we had acorns fall off the trees & damage our vehicles had to park behind the house to protect the vehicle
I love hail damaged cars
I Would Drive Hail Damage NO Problem
cloth seats, questionable A/C, check engine light, and major hail damage for half off retail. No. Salvage retail should already be half off retail. Questions on check engine light and A//C, that is a must in Dallas, takes it lower than half off.
Hell yea I fix hail damage myself 😊
Virginia is a pain to register with DMV having a bunch of hoops. SC and NC are easy, no problems. Not all insurance companies will write anything but liability, however, more do since the COVID car shortages. Also more banks will lend on them, not all, but more. So, we are getting there in the Mid Atlantic states.
I think the short videos are just OK for information but the longer videos brings entertainment, information and interaction. And for me, its the interaction + entertainment + Information that makes me enjoy the videos. So Randy, I advise you go back to the longer videos. Its what makes people love you brother.
