He’s not going to appreciate anything you give to him, especially in this social media age. He’ll only appreciate what he has to buy himself with his own money that he earned over a significant amount of time.

i had to work and save up for my OWN private lessons and my first car that took a v long time as you can imagine. but it made me appreciate MY car. and made my parents respect me more as a 16 year old…old school these kids don’t know and it’s our fault.
i already told my 12year old his first car will be a 1998 Chrysler van if i gotta buy it😂

I you should have given him SHYT. If he cant accept that amazing gift and be greatful let him walk. Most kids get a hooptie they paid for. You are in trouble mr when he graduates and thinks he is owed better
