Absolutely one of the best and deepest lines ever. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."

The End was the perfect way for the Beatles to say goodbye. Ringo’s only drum solo, the guitar solos (Paul, George, John) x 3, the three part harmonies and George’s beautiful guitar to close it out.

“She Loves You” to “The End” felt like a lifetime. In a way, it was - roughly the lifetime of The Beatles.

    Trivia for you:
    1. They had to talk Ringo into doing that drum solo as he was so shy.
    2. The only Beatles song when John, Paul and George all played lead guitar together!

And for the Beatles, that was the perfect way to end.

I relive the experience of hearing for the first time the Beatles through the reactions of you precious young people. It's possible still, that the Beatles will bring us all together in a moment of dire chaos. Peace and Love to us all!!

Love your reactions! These two songs were the final movement of a 16-minute medley that took up almost the entire second half of their album Abbey Road. This medley is made up of all sorts of different little fragments of songs The Beatles had written and recorded but hadn't finished or released yet. I would definitely recommend listening to the entire second half of Abbey Road, if I remember this medley starts with "You Never Give Me Your Money" and it ends with "The End". But there have been lots of reaction channels which have reacted to the "Restored Version" of the medley...that is a rough work-in-progress version of the medley recently released on the 50th anniversary set of Abbey Road (it's missing lots of guitar and vocal tracks); the full album version is medley worth listening to, because it has the most musical impact! Love you! You're beautiful! Thank you for your reactions!

Beautiful reaction, Cynthia. As to that last line, I think you recently exemplified that. Only you and I will possibly know what I'm referring to but I want you to know how very much I appreciate you. And here's to your next reaction! 🙏🙂💜

This shows you why people like me tell you that you should listen to "Albums" rather than "Songs", this was one of the early albums that was truly constructed as an experience. A new sound was beginning - album rock. I believe you've heard some of Yes, for example - these groups weren't trying yo create "singles" or "hits", they were creating masterpieces.

Hi my dear... that was such a wonderful reaction from you...I really love your thoughts at the end... your words are always so unique and lovely. I can really see how you are into the music and how much you take every song and video serious, no matter what kind or style of music it is. For me, you are truly my #1 reactor on youtube... and will be forever. Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry

And that was The End folks. The end of the greatest 7 years of music making by one band in history. It was a sad day when we found out The Beatles were no longer and this song was their goodbye to us all.

  • @spreet65
    @spreet65 2 роки тому +3

and with that "The Love you take is equal to the love you make". The End & the last recorded song by the Beatles. Sad, seeing as The Beatles seemingly had limitless song writing ability as they all showed when they went their separate ways. As per the comments below songs listened to on Abbey Road especially on the B side should all be listened to as they connect into each other. Would love to see you review the entire album.

no, you don't get it like most others; another song, the whole things 3, about the Real Paul not Faul's car accident and dying and killing girl he had picked up Rita, and them both dying after he hadn't seen the light change and blew his mind out and the probable post mortem guilt, but it was all over, The End, 'is equal to the love you make'

Did you know the Beatles, especially John Lenon , was an atheist? He famously said in all of his arrogant glory, full of his fame, that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus? This made news worldwide. His fans want to say he did not mean it but his values and life style are proof of his statement
Did you know his song Imagine is anti-Christian, antibiblical? It exemplifies his atheism. The song lyrics say "imagine there is no heaven or hell". Did you know the Beatles were the leaders of the so called flower children, the free love Hippie generation? They did illegal drugs such as LSD. They are the main reasons marijuana and other drugs became so popular..they glorified free love and drugs. John and his lover spent many consecutive days making their love orgy being interviewed under the influence and stark naked in their marathon love bed. They never showed humility..just total disregard and respect for anything in the establishment such as manners and Christian values. I stopped being a fan many years ago as I witnessed their disdain for humility, Christianity, and anything that represented authority and as they became the leaders of the pot smoking, acid dropping, Hippie generation.Their values do not represent me and I do not support ant way the likes of the Beatles. I thought you might be unaware of this Beatle history. Better informed later than never.

@@Alewifes_Husband It is your choice what you listen to.. They were very immoral. People who lived through their start up and career either chose to validate them through their music or not. Millions of people despise them because of who they were..anti- Christian, the biggest influences of popularizing multi drugs. Millions of course do not care. I am merely giving informatiion to people who did not live to see their rise to fame. In order to make choices in life, we all need to know what we are choosing. I do not care if you like or admire them
Many people override their morals to do what they like. Apparently, you support them. By liking their music, you support their values because they write about them , sing about them, comment on them.So many people are ignorant of the past. They need to know the past but we live in a society where anything goes.I do not believe in censorship but I believe people need to know about the past. Keep on admiring them. You should know though that countless millions don't and caught on to what they are/were all about. Truth matters and eventually comes out.

@@margarettaylor8107 I lived through it, too. I am 60 years old. My late parents were also fans and my 65 yo sister. Lennon was far from perfect and we all are in that same condition. He believed in Love, and love does not need to be given or received within the context of any religious structure. Who cares if the Beatles were "anti-Christian" as you say -- even if they were, so what? God will judge, if you believe your own dogma. What business is it of yours how anyone worships, or not? I'm genuinely curious. I am not sure why we ought not listen to them because they weren't Christian the way you would want them to be. And for you to presume that Lennon meant "better" than Jesus when he said "more popular" is a bit of a stretch. Just like the entire overreaction at that time was a stretch.

    • @peterblood50

It wasn't arrogance, it was reality. At the time the Beatles were more popular world wide than Jesus. No brag, just fact. Christians, as usual, got all butt hurt over the truth. Still the case today only worse.
