Hi, watching your wonderful and informative videos, Mindy!! ❤ Love, love love your lively channel! Keep smiling!! ❤😊 Enjoying your videos...❤ Very detailed. 🎉😊❤
wonderful presentation... with 30+ cruises we finally decided to take a chance with MSC Seaside in November... thank you for spending time showing your experience... we bid on a yaght club upgrade...
I’m glad you spread the word on the shows for the beach because you’re right, it was tough on the tootsies! Thanks for all the info in your video. Enjoyed watching y’all check out the island.
Thanks for posting, seems like the ship is at least as tall as the lighthouse so I assume similar if not equal views of the island are available onboard (with the benefit of elevators ;)
The beach in the back is called North Beach. It’s not affiliated with the YC and Is a beach to all. YC has their own small private beach area. Good video though.
Hi Mindy , just some info- The food trucks DO have food that doesn't cost. Only the lobster rolls are charged, but they have water, burgers and fries and hot dogs for no charge. We visited in May this year and ate from them. Also- as of April to May 2024- Ocean Cay is closed for work to improve areas (I believe they're going to amplify the buffet area to accommodate more guests.) Because I was booked for this itenary (7 day bahamas and oceancay)on the Meraviligia, but msc contacted me to offer for the same price an 11 day Antilles Cruise for no further charges than my original booking! I'm so pleased because it's in Yacht Club ! If I had to book it now, it'd cost almost 6,000 ! I paid 3,000 for my original booking so we're very pleased with the changes although I will miss visiting Ocean Cay again and in YC category, because. (We were in Fantastica last time.)
@Mindysadventures I don't blame you for wanting to go back ! Because we loved OceanCay .We've cruised NCL & RCI and visited their private islands, but find MSCs is more natural and truly a marine conservation area. I read they will also be working on further areas of coral reef beds to improve more areas for the marine life. Msc are Swiss- Italian and so it shows in how they like to keep things immaculate but natural. My husband and and I are NOT into gimmicks or theme parks. I guess this is why we've found MSC so nice ! And my husband is Spanish (I'm British- living in Spain) So we like the Mediterranean food on there, too !
Mindy -- watching your videos...thanks again so much...if we are in the Yacht Club (Deluxe Balcony) .. and have the drink package (with the room-and internet)....is the Chocolate Bar (extra) or is that included too??? All that is very confusing on the fee/no extra fee) stuff.
If my choices are an oceanview (not beachfront) cabana in the Yacht Club area or a cabana in the main area where the beach isn't as rocky, which would you recommend?
There are some that are free. And some are extra charge. The free ones offer hamburgers, hotdogs and fry’s. The ones that have a charge offer shrimp, lobster etc. they have prices clearly marked on the signs at the food trucks

Thank you 😊 I hope you get the yacht club. It was a wonderful experience. I hope you have a great cruise.

You’re welcome. I’m glad it was helpful. Thank you for watching ☺️
Great tip on the lighthouse show! Can't wait to get back to this amazing island in July!
Thank you. I hope u have a great trip in July. 😊

The ship is actually taller than the lighthouse. From the lighthouse u get great views of the ship.
Great video!
Thank you 😊
The island you were pointing at is Bimini 😊
Oh, that’s cool. Thx
Such a great overview. Thank you! Did you bring your own snorkel gear?
Yes. I always do. I recommend to anyone that enjoys snorkeling to bring ur own

Wow what a great deal you got. I’m super excited for you. Thank you for all the updates.
I’m hoping to go back to ocean cay after the refurbishment

I agree. MSC has a beautiful natural island and I appreciate that they are caring for the environment.
My husband and I also really enjoyed the food
@@Mindysadventures I think we'll copy you at breakfast, with the swapping Canadian ham for Salmon on the Eggs Benedict !
@@Podgey25 totally worth it. It was so good

The chocolate bar is an extra charge sadly
@@Mindysadventures Thanks a bunch....all your videos have helped me out a lot for my trip in 3 weeks....
@karenmdumont662 yay I’m so happy they are helping you

I would pick the yacht club because of the service for food and drinks. However, if water access is more important then I would pick the other.
@@Mindysadventures Thank you! Love your videos, you're so talented!
@@EvanPettrey you’re welcome. Thank you so much 😊
What beach is that in your end/last scene of the video. The beach scene with the brown sand with the end credits?
It’s stock footage
0.51, thats how you spell 'omelettes'? PS 1.10...yummy!
I notice that there's no umbrellas on the beach for cover from the sun.
There are a few palms that provide shade. The umbrellas are only available at the yacht club beach.
There are also umbrellas you can rent. You have to get them , set them up and return them after use. Average price $14 for all day use
Royal caribbean Coco cay has umbrellas everywhere. Well, different cruise lines.
@Thetravelerfromflorida right. I would not say ocean cay is better than cococay. I like ocean cay better than NCLs and carnivals private islands.
Something else that I have been wanting to know about the yacth club is the beds in the cabins queen or king size.
Those food trucks are free they don’t cost extra.

What’s the dress code in the Yacht Club?
It’s casual. Only formal for select nights. If you don’t want to dress up than you can eat elsewhere on the ship.
