The Nomad | mandola duet

Here's a tune I picked up from the guitar playing of Dónal Clancy on his album Close to Home. I decided to play the tune in D minor on the mandola and overdub an accompaniment part (also with the mandola.)

Beautiful! Is that the Pomeroy mandola? I’m in the market for a new mandolin. Are the Pomeroy mandolins comparable to the mandolas?

Yep, that's a Pomeroy. I have a friend with an oval-hole A style mandolin and it looks and sounds amazing. I don't think you can go wrong with anything that Don Paine makes. Thanks!
