Woah, I love Eve's voice, it's very tender & sentimental. This song really hits close to home. I'm sure we all wear a mask for the different places we go to; work, school, and even at home. Like you said, when you're at home, perhaps it is your parents plucking the strings to your play. It's very unhealthy how a lot of us are a completely different person on different occasions, just to please people, but sometimes it's necessary in order to get a job or in order to get good treatment from your parents. It's really unfortunate, but it's true. And if you have truthful friends that love you for the person you are, then they are probably the only ones you'd be yourself around (that is if you're not able to be yourself around everyone else). If you're a depressing person and you let it out to someone, they'd probably get really sad and pity you, so you'd be kind of hurting their feelings in a way, for a moment. On the other hand, if you suppress it, you're not hurting anyone, but you're slowly killing yourself for a life time. Man, life is so sad and complicated lmao. I just be myself, life is too short. 🖤
Yayy it’s EVE! I’m so happy you did this song, Dramaturgy is one of my favs. He really has the vocals to back his music. Even tho sometimes he uses vocaloids for it he also has self-covers. Since it doesn’t seem like anyone mentioned it, dramaturgy is the study of dramatic composition and the elements of drama on the stage. It can also refer to the concept by Erving Goffman that life is a play and we are all just actors and that life can be seperated by the front stage and back stage. Also, I have to say but your editing style has really improved! That’s so good to see. I didn’t even realise it was almost 30 mins long I was so absorbed in it. If you’re taking suggestions, may I introduce you to a cover artist called DongDang? He’s Korean but he covers Japanese vocaloid songs and his voice is just so soft and soothing. Yuu-san and Eve-san covered the same vocaloid song titled "Mabel". If you listen to both of it, you can notice the differences and uniqueness of each of their voices. Personally, I prefer Eve's version of that song but I like the feeling I get when I listen to Yuu's version.
I have listened to both version too! I personally love Miyashita Yuu (miy_yuu)'s version because I think his voices has got more feelings and is voicing the two different characters that's pictured in the lyrics and I love that kind of details. Eve version is great too, but he always sang it like the way he wants it too (well, that's how most people sing) and it's just good but there are a lot of utaite/singer who sang similarly like that, Eve is good, and because he is a big singer now there many people who supported him, I hope it will be the case too for Miyashita, that's it for me.

Hello! Really love your reactions to these utaite songs, and am especially glad to hear you like Eve's music. He's done a lot of amazing songs since Dramaturgy, and many of them come with their own vivid, unique MVs as well. If you're thinking of any more Eve songs to cover, Tokyo Ghetto as well as his most recent song Inoti no Tabekata (How to Eat Life) are amongst some of my favs, while the We're Still Underground V remains the most visually striking.

The singer is using a soft voice that makes the song sound smooth and is also balancing the emotions with using the right notes. At least as a person who is learning how to properly sing, that is what I got.

Eve is such a great artist. Also, something you could do in your spare time if you want to, is to watch some of the english covers of the song. Some of the translated lyrics get a good grasp of the meaning and can help you understand the song more, or show you a different interpretation of the lyrics. For Dramaturgy, a good one would be the cover done by JubyPhonic.

I hope your schedule is free cause it seems like your going to be reacting to a whole lotta Eve songs! But I do also want you to react to "Mafumafu" another Japanese artist (if you have the time of course). Cause one of his most famous covers is "Hated By Life Itself" but unfortunately the translation has been slightly altered and the impact of the song is weaked in my opinion. But you can still watch it if you want. But If you want to see the first translations I'd suggest watching the animatic by Re:Aimer. Tbh this song has taught me more than school could ever teach me. Vocaloid songs have taught me so much and I’m so grateful for being introduced to it. (To clear a possible confusion,there's another title for it called Mekakucity Actors which is the anime series) A little backstory is that it was one of the first (or even the FIRST) "music video story telling using your own cast of characters" using Vocaloid in NicoNico created by Jin. Because of the audience coming up with theories and speculation at the time, he grew in popularity very quickly. You don't have to watch the whole series, but I'd like to see your reaction to "Kagerou Daze" which was one of the first songs he released of the series. Again, I really enjoy your reaction and the way you structure your videos which gives the amount of appreciation these genre need and deserve! I'm here just after watching your Hated by the life itself and Mafumafu's reaction. To be honest, I really like your voice, it's clean and nice to hear. It doesn't clash with the songs and even if I'm not a native English speaker, I'm able to understand all your words. I feel like you may enjoy other deep composers or songs. I believe it's worth to check out MARETU (he hits kind of dark themes, a little bit like Kikuo), my personal favorite is "White Happy" (Yuu Miyashita covered it too!). I swear it's beautiful and it made me cry so much, there's even really good English cover that was sung by Lizz I believe. -"Clean Freak" by Scop is also really good, making you think twice There are still so many good songs that have meaningful lyrics but are dismissed just because they were created by using vocaloids or just because they are in Japanese... I hope it will help you at least a bit Ps, I'm sorry for the mistakes, misspellings, etc, I'll fix it once I'll have a proper amount of sleep instead of stying up a few days EDIT: Really good songs with meaning are also "3331" the title has real meaning: sa from 3, mi from 3, and 3+1 are 4 giving shi. I personally love Miyashita Yuu (miy_yuu)'s version because I think his voices has got more feelings and is voicing the two different characters that's pictured in the lyrics and I love that kind of details. Eve version is great too, but he always sang it like the way he wants it too (well, that's how most people sing) and it's just good but there are a lot of utaite/singer who sang similarly like that, Eve is good, and because he is a big singer now there many people who supported him, I hope it will be the case too for Miyashita, that's it for me.
Well, I personally won't want shooshiMooshi to compares singers .. though I personally find miyashita yuu more charming.

He's done a lot of amazing songs since Dramaturgy, and many of them come with their own vivid, unique MVs as well. If you're thinking of any more Eve songs to cover, Tokyo Ghetto as well as his most recent song Inoti no Tabekata (How to Eat Life) are amongst some of my favs, while the We're Still Underground V remains the most visually striking.

The singer is using a soft voice that makes the song sound smooth and is also balancing the emotions with using the right notes. At least as a person who is learning how to properly sing, that is what I got.

But I do also want you to react to "Mafumafu" another Japanese artist (if you have the time of course). Cause one of his most famous covers is "Hated By Life Itself" but unfortunately the translation has been slightly altered and the impact of the song is weaked in my opinion. But you can still watch it if you want. But If you want to see the first translations I'd suggest watching the animatic by Re:Aimer. I'd also recommend listening to "Deathly Loneliness Attacks" another cover of his. (i like watching his version cause he can hit them notes!). An original song by him is called "Sincerely on this day the Cherry Blossoms Fall and Sway" which is also great.

Tbh this song has taught me more than school could ever teach me. Vocaloid songs have taught me so much and I’m so grateful for being introduced to it. Sometimes learning about the meaning and digging deeper into a song’s meaning can teach you so much and make you grow as a person, maybe even make you more observant and wake you up to the world we live in.

Also if it's alright with you, there's a 'series' of music videos I can recommend called Mekakucity "Project". (To clear a possible confusion,there's another title for it called Mekakucity Actors which is the anime series)
A little backstory is that it was one of the first (or even the FIRST) "music video story telling using your own cast of characters" using Vocaloid in NicoNico created by Jin. Because of the audience coming up with theories and speculation at the time, he grew in popularity very quickly.
You don't have to watch the whole series, but I'd like to see your reaction to "Kagerou Daze" which was one of the first songs he released of the series.

I'm here just after watching your Hated by the life itself and Mafumafu's reaction. To be honest, I really like your voice, it's clean and nice to hear. It doesn't clash with the songs and even if I'm not a native English speaker, I'm able to understand all your words. I feel like you may enjoy other deep composers or songs. I believe it's worth to check out MARETU (he hits kind of dark themes, a little bit like Kikuo), my personal favorite is "White Happy" (Yuu Miyashita covered it too!).
