Thank you so much for this. My issue is the spacing (Kerning) I wish there was a way to adjust the kerning only between the second and third lines and leave the first sentence intact. When sentences begin with two letters (IF OF AS) it’s really ugly when the letter (F F S) is spaced out so much from the drop cap.
Indesign should let us kern individual sentences instead of a block of lines

That is great! came across this video while looking for a solution for adding space after a 2 character drop cap. The kerning seems to be working if its a 1 character drop cap but is not working for a 2 characters.
Also is there a way to mass apply the style and spacing on a documents that has like 50 paragraphs all with drop caps ? Thank in advance!

Hey! I always had this same question and looked for it online. Supposedly most people keep the quotation mark the same font as the other words and the first letter will be the drop cap. Hope this helped!
