i hit a rock with my 2013 craftsman 54 inch lawn tractor and it snapped the right mandrel the same way it did on yours and $200 later i got a new mandrel and i worked fine
on the farm sim stuff, when stuff like that is deleted it goes to your recycle bin so check there and if you dont empty it very often, you should find some other stuff too :)
I've always wondered why you don't use a zero-turn for mowing? Do you use the utility tractor a lot for earth moving and other things that couldn't be done with a ZT? I know we get twice the work out of a John Deere 930 zero turn then we can get out of a 729 or 728 tractor. The 930 also has a lot fewer maintenance issues.
He uses the 2720 for lots of things (mowing, pulling dump trailer, snow blowing, snow plowing, brushing, etc). I don't think the cemetery would want to pay for a zero-turn and its upkeep on top of the other two tractors.
For snow removal I would think he would be able to do most of it with the backhoe, judging by the vids, he does a lot of it anyways the hoe.....but that's just me. We have tractors and zero-turns for our business too, and we need both. The tractors can do everything the zero-turn can do....maybe at half speed....but the zero turn can't remove snow...brush rocks out of grass...or easily bag/not bag grass...or cut steep hillsides. Just curious about the lack of a quality ZT tractor for the size of cemetery he's maintaining, ....seems like a good investment........Rock on with the videos and thanks for posting!!!!!!
Well bill you are good and what i mean on that is i repair and fix mowers so for me i i can refit blades to a diffrent mower untill i get a replacement another way if a blade is bent take your blade and set it on a flat place and look to see the bened in the blade and the i try to do the heat treatment mail me if you need a example
2 bolts holding it on! dang your lucky. Had to repair a spindle that only had 1 bolt holding it on. My shaft was fine but the deck on that mower only comes as a whole assembly and can't get it as just parts. I wonder why they make them out of aluminum now instead of the steel like the older models.
Hi Bill Do you look up parts online with Deere, I use it a lot here for customer stuff in my shop. I can get part numbers and print off all the parts diagrams, for pretty well all Deere equipment I want. Anyways I just searched your 62D deck for S&Giggles. It comes up with a part number and substitute number as Item 11 on the fancy picture. Shaft and greaser in a kit, But says housing in description. All the parts apart from the housing is listed as individual kits as well. Kinda wondering if somebody is BS ing you at the dealership, or as usual with some of those guys don't have a foggy clue what they are doing. My local dealers feel threatened when i go in with all the sheets or call and know more than the parts guy some days for what serial number breaks and sub numbers he needs.L.O.L. Might be worth trying another dealer or asking the question if you get the info off their parts pages in front of you. Regards Robert
i have had nothing but problems with my 62d, i just changed my gearbox, and that wasnt cheap, get a heads up on that... also, i have broken 2 bearing housings, i tell everyone not to get one. the most expensive mistake of my life
yea but think this ironman .. if you buy separate part .. it will cost lot more.. but all in 1 is very good price but i know all the parts like lawnmower or tractor part .. stuff like that .. it is not cheap ..because each year the price going up .
Broken mandrel is workable at least it wasn't like me first cut hit some granite and broke the blade bent the shaft and destroyed pto shaft on the machine all i took of of it was the engine and front end bits 22hp has some torque
I have a 61 inch bobcat I use for brush cutting and I ended up bending a blade about one inch out of alignment by hitting a section of rebar in a field I ended up using a tree and my truck to bend it back
Im really supprised that you didnt put the pin in the bearing part you allready have, then spin it and watch the blade flange for wobble. Im sure your getting dafter bill lol :-))
Lay that spindle shaft on your drillpress table (with the big end hanging off) and roll it. Your table should be flat so if the shaft wobbles when it rolls, it's bent.
wow bill .. sure is a good price for that part for your mower.. just think if you buy a bearing and housing and the shaft? that will cost more if you buy separate instead .. but for all the part in 1 .. better price. .. and wow you have heavy down poor too .. give it to ironman and tell him grab your soap and shampoo lmao .
Bethlehem if you do not have the money to afford the equipment I know she lives in Canada but what I don't know is if it applies in Canada too or if it doesn't I don't know might not be different from Bethlehem bought I don't know so anyone knows please reply
Do you have to pay for all those machines you use on the cemetery as if you were an owner-operator of a truck? If not they should of warned you about the costs of breakdowns, but if you just bought those machines one your own you should have known lol
Sorry about your luck Bill, hopefully you don't have to put much more money into your machines this year.

I wondered that too
zero turns can Sometimes have a hitch I like zero turns better but that's my opinion
He uses his 3 point hitch for quite a bit.. And his trailers run off hydrolics... But also his plow and snow blower are used a bunch

That looks like a small trailer hub assembly with square bearing as to the tapered ones and ouch 92 bucks .
yea but think this ironman .. if you buy separate part .. it will cost lot more.. but all in 1 is very good price but i know all the parts like lawnmower or tractor part .. stuff like that .. it is not cheap ..because each year the price going up .

You have a pretty big lawn mower/tractor
Yea I was looking forward to maybe seeing a new tool
BLC Landscaping didnt work out
Noticed the chuck on the drill press has a little wobble on the go .
why leave your tools out in the rain.
I have a 61 inch bobcat I use for brush cutting and I ended up bending a blade about one inch out of alignment by hitting a section of rebar in a field I ended up using a tree and my truck to bend it back
540RPM on that little guy? doesn't surprise me that it cracked. we got a ford 1320 and the mowing deck doesn't even get used anymore
why dont you do a tour of your garage
Im really supprised that you didnt put the pin in the bearing part you allready have, then spin it and watch the blade flange for wobble.
Im sure your getting dafter bill lol :-))
Have you done any work with the gear box on the 62D?? That would be a great video. JD wants over $700 to replace it.
Whats the website you got your new seat from for the Boulevard? I really want to get a new seat for my 2001 suzuki marauder
Can you bring your spare partial bearing assemblies back for a refund when you pick up the new full assemblies?
use a plate of glass as flat top ,,, set glass on a table, roll shaft on glass ,, look for wobble
So that's why you parked it away from everything hoping someone would steal it :)
LOL!
Hey bill can we play farm sim some time it can be any map u like
Sweet
$15 ea is cheap. my 42" deck I have on my 2009 Allis-Chalmers cost that ea minimum
Lay that spindle shaft on your drillpress table (with the big end hanging off) and roll it. Your table should be flat so if the shaft wobbles when it rolls, it's bent.
You okay Billy do
wow bill .. sure is a good price for that part for your mower.. just think if you buy a bearing and housing and the shaft? that will cost more if you buy separate instead .. but for all the part in 1 .. better price. .. and wow you have heavy down poor too .. give it to ironman and tell him grab your soap and shampoo lmao .
I guess the mower deck couldn't handle those new wheels. It got so excited it blew up.
Bill what was it you said on yesterday's video you said you were going to look at it and maybe buy it
What ever happened with the tool you were going to look at
Brandon Kotenko didnt work out
BILLSTMAXX :) What was it ?
for a few dollars a machine shop could of told you or resleved it
Bill farming simulator makes a backup of every save game so you can probably get it back.
Bethlehem if you do not have the money to afford the equipment I know she lives in Canada but what I don't know is if it applies in Canada too or if it doesn't I don't know might not be different from Bethlehem bought I don't know so anyone knows please reply
Did you at least get the money back from the idiots who reset the stone like that? Ugh..ignorant people pizz me off.
hey bill ..if you want to see a very good laugh .. go to ironman latest video and read his comment about the dentist lmao
he will get me for this lmao
Do you have to pay for all those machines you use on the cemetery as if you were an owner-operator of a truck? If not they should of warned you about the costs of breakdowns, but if you just bought those machines one your own you should have known lol
I think the cemetery pays for the tractors and the parts, a long with anything he needs to maintain the who property
Like the trimmers and stuff
JohnDeere50d no they don't and if you do not have the money to afford it you can be fired around Bethlehem
If I were you I would leave the deck broken and then you don't have to mow it anymore
more john deere junk
having had a bend blade almost makes me think you did hit something and it cause the break
