Just noticed a mistake at 0:14 It should obviously read "it was a call for the heroes" the "a" is missing. I try to check for these things but sometimes they slip through.

I think there are two things here: 1. Finland pursued propaganda actively, as an example it was easier to get your song published on national radio if it was "Patriotic" in some way. 2. In recent years much effort has been put on digitization of all archives etc. so in many cases these songs for example are available on the internet. Not all though and for example the channel @ThePoliticalMusicAppreciator has actually gone into the archives physically and recorded some songs that weren't.

It's honestly impressive how many songs the finnish have made during WW2
