People think JDG is strong because of Ruler but in reality JDG is strong AND they have Ruler. The fact that most of the MVP titles per match JDG got was from Knight and a few from 369 should say it all. Even if you look at damage and KP numbers, it's always Knight who had the most DPS and 369 and Kanavi with most KP. Ruler is a goat but JDG is just a different team.
JDG are at least 4 top 10 players itw right now. Best Top, Jungle and ADC. Knight is at worst top 2 mid and Missing top 4 supp

Zeus was playing commet aatrox for the laning phase, the idea was to win lane and snowball. Lethality aatrox does this way better and no conq going drain tank items is biggg kekw moment
@@jamesburman9784 duskblade build is a snowball thing and comet for range match up is also fine. But he side lane all the game then it's very squishy at the fight. then he go for maw second item.
@@NitipumeSukchai Not saying that the build is optimal atm but i think T1 thought that Aatrox's place in the draft was to play more like an assasin than a front line carry. Ofc he is sidelaning all game because he needs to get rescources some how and they aren't perma fighting. He was there for the fights and that is what was important imo
the hardest part of forming a super team is the synergy the five members have. Evdient with flyquest and vitality. JDG have some found top of the class players in all five roles that work well together
If this team wins it all, I don't think we'll ever see anything like it again honestly. Having all 5 individual members good and good team work is basically a dream team.

Gala solo killed Ruler TWICE in game 1. LPL ADCs are just built different.
Mechanics wise gala destroys ruler. Ruler just has the better team fight spacing and better overall team
Kaisa is much stronger than Zeri this patch. Basically any ADC champ that isn't Xayah, Kalista or Kaisa is terrible.

I am actually glad that GEN-G and JDG do not meet each other at all during the Swiss Stage. So, that we can see both teams as on par.
Yeap, if all goes well and neither of these 2 teams choke we should see them in the final as they can't play against each other until then. Now there are some dark horses in the tournament like LNG, T1, BLG, Kt and G2 (assuming all of these teams go to the top 8 as they should) that can pull off some upsets. But hey if we get Knight vs Chovy in the finals I am a happy camper.

JDG reminds me of Damwon when they won their first worlds. Just so dominant
IDK, JDG seems way stronger. Damwon lost MSC to JDG in 2020 who lost to TES. JDG 2023 is completing the Golden Road on the other hand.
Yeah, I think their dominance and playstyle really reminds me of 2020 Damwon as well, except they have a 1v9 carry on every role(Damwon's botlane was more supportive).

I think JDG will complete the golden road. GenG is strong but let's face it, they always fail internationally. T1 is not in top form right now. WBG is only good when theshy is cooking. They're too familiar with BLG and LNG. So yeah, golden road is a huge possibility.
I can agree with that, but then again we have seen top teams fall to quite unexpected oponents. SSG beating LZG at quarters, G2 beating RNG in quarters 2018, DRX winnign worlds last year, TL beaing IG at MSI. I mean there have been situations where a team that was very much expected to win 100% lost. Now is JDG the favorite to win it all? Yes, but then again it is the teams they are not familiar with that is more worrying than the teams they know. LNG is also VERY close to JDG and on a good day can beat them. I am a g2 fan, but I want JDG to win it all because of Knight, a player like that deserves to be the first ever midlaner to complete the golden road.

The thing is Ruler didn't even do that much so far. It's just a matter of how everyone performs well together.
@@damiester1 funnily enough, no adc really did much so far. Even the other strong adcs, Peyz, Gala, Hans, Deft, Aiming, Elk, Light and Guma haven't really had 1v9 moments. It's weird because Xayah is super strong but this worlds so far is all about top/jgl/mid and good supp engages lmao
@@damiester1 it's about consistency. Ruler last worlds was consistent the rest of his team wasn't. Now he's on a team that wont crumble apart so he can focus on at minimum, staying consistent. You couldn't say that about JDG's adc last year, hence why Ruler was such a massive upgrade for them.
ruler is the prime example do what an elite STABLE adc is. He’s consistent. He can have bad games sure but he’s smart, always saves his sums and almost never loses lane. LPL adcs are known for high ceiling and low floor players, extremely volatile. Ruler has done so much for JDG but so have all his fellow teammates. Him and Missing synergy is so insane, I feel Ruler is very very happy with his support.
