I picked up that same Oakley case locally for $100 a couple years back here in central FL. After a few hundred bucks in custom glass and a few hours of polishing it now houses my action figure collection. Good $$ if I decide to sell it

I love this! My entry to Reselling was via curbside pickups of Cat Trees, Bikes and Appliances. Those Cat Trees have a 1000% sell through, let me tell you! I remember picking up a washing machine at 11PM one night cause I knew by morning, it would be gone. Had an alleged sluggish drain pump ... otherwise excellent condition. Turns out there was just a sock stuck in the drain pipe and it was working like new by the next day. Sold for $500 which I used towards my growing business. Many of the Cat Trees were quick flips from $45-90. Love looking back on these moments and still trying to find opportunities to diversify and grow!

My best sale ever was an original piece of art from Chao Shao-An. I could have sent it to auction in Hong Kong but needed the money at the time. Sold it on eBay for $5267.05. I’m at art major so as you always say, knowledge is power and I can sniff out art lol. Love this business!

One of the original dumpster divers here in the PNW from the sixties, when my competition was "Pete the Junker" and we had the "Sorority Route" and when the students graduated, they would throw it ALL AWAY! I have a cautionary tale for those visiting your videos: I started an eBay account on the 2nd of February. Had gotten my first 10 listings up with many in the draft as I learned how to craft the photos and key words/pricing... Got my first sale Sunday morning the 18th at 3:27 AM (with a net to me of $76) At 5:43 AM I received a message from the Bay that my account was permanently suspended. As is the case no direct reason is offered other than the generic "protect the community" stuff. My sold item is in limbo... I worked for 5 hours this morning to reach a human. Of course it becomes circular getting you back to the original message. The evening before I got the notice of a sale I had missed a message to attend to a payout/payin policy (thought it was correct as I had bought two items in the previous week)... hmm... did not see that message until... the point is this, pay attention to every detail. It is not possible to know all the violations one may have... seems like running around in the back yard in the dark and finding that rake that is laying just right to smack you in the head. I have about 250 items to list that I drug from all the storage areas in my house and garage. Dang... so close I could smell it. Be careful... It is my understanding that many who are suspended permanently (perhaps 95%) cannot reengage. One of the first things I wanted to do with my first $$ was get into the group. Fortunately I do not have to sell things to eat. Again, be careful... and thanks Tech... your generosity is stellar! Adieu...
It is somewhat common for new accounts to be restricted. I think sometimes it sets off some alarms. Usually once you oeicude provide the information they are looking for they will overturn it
@@technsports Thanks for the response Sir... I am unable to get through. This is permanent. I shall go to other methods of reselling. It is seriously disappointing to hIt a wall. I wiil make a hole and get through. Yard sales, Facebook, Craigslist and even finding someone who needs helps sourcing... some of the money all of the time and like you said here..."there are a million ways..." The animals you mentioned found a way that works. I shall too. Thanks for your help and advice.

Perfect video finding trash to treasure, rapid fire bread and butter, and rapid fire bolo vintage and look in the shop. Item then comp is very useful for remembering.

Man...thank you. I come home. I'm beat. I sit for a moment, collect my thoughts... It's so comfortable. It's nice to be off my feet. Why not turn on UA-cam for a minute. And there you are... I've been trying for 2 days to get 600 items on my eBay store. Every time I get near 595 I sell three or four things. I've been back and forth in it for 2 days now. But I just love this chair. Decompression. And there you are getting me up off my ass pushing me past my 600 I appreciate you brother I really do let's see if I can get it to 700 in the next couple days. A month and a half and ago I was on marketplace and offer up and no eBay. I still do those two but for things I don't want to ship only everything else I put on eBay and it's just compounding so quickly I appreciate all the pointers and the good advice. Mostly I just appreciate the positive message. Let me get off my ass and off this phone and back to listing. I appreciate you brother.

Great finds! I have found discarded shoes at the bus stop and next to a trash can at our fancy mall in Waikiki. Once a pair of Hokas that I flipped for $40. There is free stuff everywhere. Thank you for the animal shares. I hope the parrots found some great inventory🤣🤣

I love how you explain all of this at the thrift for instance off setting off higher priced items with the half price items. I do this too but took me a long time to think outside the box to pick up higher priced things. But in the end my average COG would still be the same. I love seeing your vintage shop and those foxes :)
Average cost of goods is roughly the same. But it doesn't mean we can spend $20 on an item & sell it for $15 and think we made a $5 profit because our average cost of goods is $10

My grandma has always been a picker I get it from her. One day she called and asked if I could help her sell a bike she found in the trash. It was some sort of vintage dymo bmx bike. We sold it for $900 + shipping. My papa took it apart and shipped it. It safely arrived to the buyer who bought it because his younger brother that passed had the exact same one and ours was stock. She’ll always out pick me ❤️❤️

Your bolo reminded me of something my brother had when we were kids and it was a Vectrex console. I haven't thought about that thing in a while but I remember loving it because the game was already in the "tv" lol. I may need to go dig it out and see if it still works. So in Colorado, the grey or silver foxes are protected and rare. Your foxes look to be a mix, how cool.
Not many of them are around here. I've never really seen any others my whole life. And suddenly a whole family popped up in my back yard, just here hanging out
I'm in miami and I have seen bright red orange foxes - pretty little things. We have the green parrots here too. Very loud when they get to chatting it up.
