Jane Eyre - Chapter 11 [Audiobook]

This is an audiobook reading of Chapter 11 of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.
Upon arriving at Thornfield, Jane is welcomed by Mrs. Fairfax, the housekeeper, who clarifies that she isn't the owner but manages the estate for the eccentric Mr. Rochester. Jane is to tutor Adèle, a French girl, and learns about Rochester's peculiar family history. Mysterious laughter and Mrs. Fairfax's mention of Grace, an erratic seamstress, hint at an unusual atmosphere within Thornfield, adding an air of intrigue to Jane's new surroundings.

Haha … I expected to hear chapter 12 after this … I’m not much of a reader unless it’s to learn something in particular (usually art related) this is my first experience listening to an audio book. Unless I find I a priority to search or someone to read the rest of the 38 chapters … it’s likely I’ll never know ow Janes story goes. Do have the book but don’t plan to read it. Happy 2024

you don't need the book. it's in the public domain so online pdf's are easy to find as they are legal
