You forget 6 weeks before the alleged rape, she had sent texts to her boyfriend discussing creating a political sex scandal. "It's so easy now, the bar is set so low!"
Also Brittany Higgins knew her partner had given documents related to her alleged rape to journalists before police had formally interviewed her. Signed up for $325,000 book deal. $3million in compensation for unproven allegations. This was well planned. Needs to be investigated further.

The ACT DPP Shane Drumgold decided to have the police charge Bruce Lehrmann and take it to court - he then withdrew the charges and effectively had them dropped citing concern for Higgins welfare (ridiculous) after jury misconduct, effectively leaving Bruce Lehrmann in public limbo. The whole thing should never have been brought to court in the first place. The fact that DPP Drumgold stated in a press conference that there was reasonable belief a conviction could have been achieved in the same talk of him dropping the charges is disgraceful.

Wow! I have never heard women talking in such a measured, balanced and fair manner. However, much of what needs to be discussed regarding these important issues, enjoys perpetual shade due to the fact that most western women are firstly: regimentally educated with feminist ideology which they unquestionly accept, and secondly: are unable to accept that they don't really understand what it's like to live as a man (even though claim to and genuinely believe that they do).
Imagine a world where men can take back control of their sexuality for example, via purpose-developed drugs. This would benefit men greatly (and incidentally may be on the horizon), but how would women fare in a world where they are excluded from interactions with men due to natuarally occuring differences and removal of the impetus for wanting to pair-bond? It's entirely possible, but is it a place that secures humanity's future?
Conversations such as this are rare and clearly painful to accept if you believe that *your* behaviour is not the problem. Clearly feminists are motivated by misandry and aren't seeking solutions, far from it, the victim narrative is a convenient excuse to explain underperformance in a number of areas, e.g. "I don't get promoted at work because the patriarchy conspire to oppress me". Perhaps the best person for that job was a man.

I know 2 men, who on seperate cases, were accused of R@pe. The first guy was charged, then before the case made it to the courts, the charges were dropped, as evidence was found that the allegations were false. The second guy was charged, faced court, and the accuser ultimately admitted the act was consensual. He was found not guilty, yet the allegations is still on his criminal record. It cost him $10s of thousands, to defend himself. I also know of a situaltion where the threat of false allegations were made to a guy over his exgf owing him money. The threat was not followed through, yet the woman in question stated, that the police would believe her because women dont lie. Also please google Sarah-Jane Parkinson, the only woman I have heard of that was actually convicted of false allegations. How about a 100% suppression of SA and R@pe cases, until a guilty verdict has been reached. That way the media, and certain movements, cant destroy innocent lives. Lisa W has proven that perjury and contempt of court, is not taken seriouly

I never thought I would hear females being so honest about men being accused by women. If a man is accused of a crime by a woman he is then branded guilty. They have both lost their jobs but only one received a payout shouldn't the both of them be I titled to a payout. For all of his life he will be known as a rapist, his employability is shot, but he is not guilty. The level of entitlement that women seem to have is beyond belief. How do any male find a partner that you can trust, where you are not going to be accused of something that has not happened. Men walk a very tight line.

In Australia we rely on hard evidence, physical evidence and not just witness testimony. So if you're dealing with a perpetrator that's managed to cover all their tracks don't bother going to the police or reporting because it's your word against theirs and you may have a defamation case on your hands and could also impact your career. Although lack of evidence doesn't mean it didn't happen. Media plays a significant role in being able to sway public opinion. If enough of these high profile cases are found to be false allegations woman, who have a real case, could fear being perceive as liars. Claire stated that there are a lot of statistics and activist claims around sexual assault that she's not sure are entirely reliable but bases most of her discussion around these unreliable statistics? I guess we need to get some statistics on the age of the perpetrators as it seems we have more unreliable stats on the victim than we do on the perpetrators to tell if these assaults are based on sex or power. If the perpetrators are old men, for example that can't even get an erection, then it makes no sense that it would be based on sex. Hitting on teens could also mean it's about power, as they are more vulnerable and an easier target than hitting on a woman in her 40s.

As a women, I was assaulted at work (local Government) and the perpetrator did it when I was in a place of isolation with no witnesses about. Obviously, a perpetrator is going to be very calculated as to when they strike. It would have been my word against his making it hard to prove. Feeling unsafe I had to give up that job which cost me in loss of wages and the inconvenience of having to find another job.

If you read my earlier comment you will understand why I became interested in the claims of feminist activists. Regarding the comment in the video (12:58) that "There's a lot of static statistics and activist claims around sexual assault that I am not sure are entirely reliable."
A "rape crisis on campus" mantra was imported from the United States. The human rights commission spent a million dollars on an investigation and found there was no such crisis, even though it counted cases such as being stared at on public transport while students were travelling to the university, and the offender was not a student.
Bettina Arndt, a commentator on these matters did a tour of campuses to publicise the findings. She was subjected to a campaign of harassment and intimidation for doing so, with riot police being called to the University of Sydney. The media wrongly claimed that Arndt was campaigning against the findings of the Commission, showing that the journalists had not bothered to find out what either the Commission or Arndt actually said.
Similarly, regarding the feminist campaign on family violence which portrays women and children as solely the victims of male violence. I have tried to comment to newspaper articles on statistics from sources such as the Australian Institute of Criminology which show that women are as likely to initiate violence as men, although being physically weaker they do less damage and that women are more likely than men to be child abusers and the person most likely to kill a child is the mother. So children are not most at danger from mum's boyfriend, they are most at risk from mum. Not all victims of former or present intimate partner homicide are women. Half are men. But these facts must not see the light of day.
So if these statistics seem unblelievible, that is why.

Thanks for the interesting talk. I had not thought about Brittany Higgins in a three into three instinctual contest because it seemed to hard solidify an impression until you mentioned the three dark traits. I understood the three instincts and six instinctual variants were in play and that sensing thinking and feeling at the instinctual level was a driving factor in the Brittany Higgins personal saga. Now my thought are Brittany Higgins may have been struggling within between nine components of a three into three dynamic of mind that stem from the instinctual level.
The nine dynamics being, ( Faith in humanity, Narcissism and Sensing, Humanism, Machiavellianism and Feeling, Kantianism, Psychopathy and Thinking.)
Mind must always deal with the three factor of ( Positive, Negative and Neutral) and express its self though the nine energies underpinning type, that is all part of relating as a human with other humans and the external world from our own internal inner world of thoughts.
Confusion and anger with these Nine light and dark involuntary components of mind may have lead Miss Higgins to form a pathological saga that has advanced her life's narrative socially and financially.
Brittany seems to wish to inform educate and influence the nine energies of Type and eighteen Egoic Mind Sets by becoming a public personality and influencer and paid professional speaker.
I think Brittany Higgins operates at the level of imbalance and fears the foreshadowing of things to come. The Foreshadowing of things to come seems to be generated from Brittany's Intuition in play, her first function of four. ( Intuition, Feeling, Sensing and Thinking). Brittany's own Intuition maybe the overcompensating factor that is driving a complex narrative at the instinctual level of her own direct cognition.
let use all gather sticks and follow the medieval tradition of witch burning. Thanks Claire and Zoe.

Overall pretty balanced, except where you said that "Chivalry is not dead", sorry but #MeToo has killed it stone dead. I work in a female dominated workplace and I am nothing but professional and who is there first goes first, the woman next to me is my competitor for the next job, they don't get any different treatment to that of a bloke. I don't care about the gender, although with their gender comes higher risk to you as a bloke. You only get additional politeness "Chivalry" if you want to call it that only because they were kind or courteous to my neutral actions first and I then will reciprocate. I will not give additional politeness unless equivalent energy is given first. You are right though "There is a lot of distrust between the sexes".

Lets put some cards on the table....Mr.Lehrmann goes out for Friday night drinks...but leaves his house keys in his office..yeah right?!! A witness sees him & Higgins kissing on a couch in the venue...ummm,,,getting warmer. they both enter parliment house via security...on the basis he has to collect something from his office....yeah Right!!. Higgins is seen in the video happily running up the passage way towards the offices' reception area( not too drunk by the look of it). Lehrman says they go to different offices, and he spends 40 minutes in his office, without checking on if she needs a lift home...yeah, right!! His phone is switched off so his at home girlfriend can't contact him...funny about that!! Higgins manages to get naked on the ministers couch all by herself ...yeah, right!! She has a boyfriend also, who would not be too pleased to learn that she had it off with Lehrman. She flakes, he leaves...end of story...ALMOST... he gets fired, she crys rape to act innocent and keep her job. .....Stone the bloody crows.....and everyone believes each of their stories. ...and at the end of all this bullshit, Higgins gets a 2-3 mill payout on just an "allegation...and he gets sent to Coventry. This shit has to be uncovered, and both of their partners can see the real truth and take appropriate actions. A naughty, after Friday night drinks, certainly has put many in a spin, huh?!!

I suspect they had consensual sex, as far as he was concerned - but I would imagine he was used to taking advantage of highly intoxicated women.
I think she probably realised she was just being used, wished she hadn't taken part - either half way through, or afterwards.
Mind you, being so drunk, you sometimes have to accept that you've put yourself in a situation where you've put yourself at risk.
They are both to blame, as far as I can see. If you get legless with colleagues from work, and have sex, you're an idiot, waiting for something to go wrong.
Leaving her naked and drunk, in an empty office was mean.
He also ran the risk of being accused of rape, by taking advantage of drunk women, in this way.
He was very disrespectful and selfish, to leave her there, and not make sure she got home ok.
Another thought I had, was if she'd been drugged with a date rate drug. I think that's quite possible, and that would totally make it rape.
