Hello! I just want to ask, there are a lot of mangas I really enjoy, but I do red then illegally online and I would really like to support the author. However, whenever I search it up, there arent really any stores that shows up. So i was wondering where you buy your manga?
I just started collecting manga and I’m about 10-12 volumes deep so far. It’s so addicting! 😫😄 I love your videos, they’re so relaxing and informative. One of my favourite UA-camrs for sure. Thank you!
Heya! I actually did the double stacking thing on my ikea Billy shelves by buying the separate shelf pieces and sawing them in half, then using whatever was left to saw a pair of legs :) its super stable, and blends into the shelf beautifully. Rough edges can be covered up with a matching color tape!

For double stacking, I actually use boxes of soda cans or tissue boxes. I would also stuff them with old shipping material to give it some weight. Hope it helps

Not sure what types of shelves you have, but specifically for the wider billy ikea shelves, you can perfectly fit 4 vhs tapes across and I stack these 2-3 high as risers. :)

Im really curious, what languages can you speak? I know people collect manga in languages they can’t speak (I am partially guilty), and I want to know if you can read the manga in Japanese and mandarin?

i have about 250 volumes, and like no space at all. once i had to double stack and the manga i was currently reading was behind it... i completely forgot what shelf it was in and had to take it ALL out. bad idea...

I get most of my japanese volumes second hand online! I was able to buy several series for around $5 a volume (from reddit or mercari). I know Kinokuniya sells brand new Japanese volumes in the U.S. at an ok price! good luck with your search and hope this was helpful >

Why didn’t you just buy new shelves that were higher? If i was gonna go through the trouble of reorganizing the mangas so they could fit i would have just used the opportunity to buy a bigger/higher shelf and replace the old one, that way you wouldnt need to reorganize it twice. Or alternatively, buy wall shelfs and put it above the smaller shelves. Perhaps you were gonna do that in the future but i just find it troublesome to go over it twice and it pains me to watch the video lol. Cool collection though
Well do you buy these manga with your saved money or your own earned money? One volume costs like 10 dollars doesn't it? How do you get enough money if you don't mind my asking? I also want to collect but because of money problems I can't.
i got them from amazon (just enter "acrylic display stands" and daiso!! if you look at my description, there should be a link to the risers in my amazon storefront :))

i’m an anime watcher, i never read manga- except for a few exceptions, and for those i just get from my library😭 i can’t relate but good for you
