I’m so sad for you both…Lucy you are not alone .I’m 54 now but when I was 32 I went in for first checkup and I was there without my husband I’ll never forget the doctor saying no heartbeat …he was a new doctor and he was so cold about it..the ultrasound tech nurse was mortified as tears rolled down my face… I have 3 children now 2 boys and a girl… but I remember it being the worst …thank you for sharing your story …love to you both and Koda …❤️

A bit of reflection, some throwbacks and pondering on certain periods in your life won't hurt for sure ü (remember when you hit 250K and then singing on a rooftop with the echo thrown back to the rooftops of Cebu?) Those were the beer-drinking nights, spelunking days and bored but anxiety-filled COVID times pre-Koda and I've to say, you both lived the life you made it to be as I'm sure you will, moving to the new year and beyond.
It's okay to not have anything firmly planned for once, you guys (not really "for once," I'm sure) as a growing little man is sat somewhere in the middle of it all from since he arrived. There will be new surprises when you do swing by the Philippines again, or in SEA again (or even Birmingham), as change the world must, and it's all good ü
We all certainly wish it to be good if not better for all.

So sorry for your loss. I totally get how you’re feeling. I personally experienced it and eventho mine is a failed IVF meaning it wasnt far out in weeks, it was my ONLY chance. Happened when i was 35 and i only got over the fact that i dnt have kids when i was about 45. So thanks for sharing❤

I can see that George loves being a Dad, Koda is his whole life and raising him has been your serious responsibility on everything you guys do. It make sense that you make being mom and dad to him legal in every way, no matter what, even if you end up divorcing after 2 mins or 2 days or 2 million years you guys are his mom and dad. You may say it will not matter to him but we live in this crazy world everything matters, like it or not. Denial is real, truth puts your soul at peace.
