i discovered bts at a very young age in 2017 , i was only 10 and i cant say they really helped me though a hard time of my life but they sure helped me shape my personality and in a way it feel like they raised me. i am an orphan with no siblings and grew up lonely with no friends i only started having friends this year at 18 lol. i am always thankful for bts for making my teen years less lonley. i am now a fan of so many groups and bts are not even my favs anymore but they will always have a special place in my heart. ANYWAY you genuinely seem to have the purest soul everrr i cant wait so watch you react to my fav groups more (skz, enhypen) and i also cant wait to check out new groups through your reactions!!
Thank you for opening up about your journey. I'm glad you are exploring all the music out there. Some will resonate with you more than others. I hope you find many groups that help you in some way. Personally, I listen to many groups. I gravitate towards certain genres more than others, but I do listen to everything at least once. I put myself solidly in at least 5 fandoms, with a few more that I just enjoy but not in the fandom. Groups I don't like aren't because they suck, but because my personal taste is not the one they present. When I find a group I don't like, I just don't listen to their stuff. They deserve people who want to listen to them, not a half-hearted "meh" from someone who doesn't appreciate them. I know that in order to be an Idol, they have to work very hard & sacrifice so much. Every idol has so much talent. My personal taste is mine alone, and has no bearing on whether they're good. I'm never going to go out of my way to leave a negative comment on their songs, or on the pages of people who react to them. I just don't listen/watch that one thing. But I will have had to have listened to at least 4-7 songs to be sure that I don't like a group. Because maybe it was just that one song I didn't like. So I enjoy listening to new groups a lot. Maybe I will find a new group to add to my expanding musical favorites, maybe it will be one more I add to my "not for me" list. But if I never listened to more than my few ULTS, I would never be able to have my musical taste grow.
Very true. I fully agree with you. This is also part of my journey. I don't know what's out there. There could be groups that sound good, but don't tickle my fancy and others that blow my mind. But if I don't check them out then I won't know. Thank you for being here
i agree with you a lot since these idols sacrifice themselves for our happiness, they cry and suffer but still smile for us, i will tell u a short story about Blackpink LISA: A few years ago on 27 March which is Lisa's birth date her grandfather passed away, he attended Lisa's Thailand concert on 24 march but Lisa didn't get a chance to meet him and she hadn't met him in 2 years and then suddenly she got the news of his death, and she cried a lot since they were really close. These kinds of accidents happen to many people and i hope god gives them the courage to move on with great memories. CHEER UP! 😃
Thanks for sharing more about yourself, Tonya. I am also an introverted empath. I don’t have much of a social life with real life friends. I moved to another country after I got married several years ago. Although I really like it here, it has been VERY difficult to make true friendships. Surface friendships, sure. But not friendships like the ones I have back home, where you know, without a doubt, you can count on each other no matter what. It always leaves me just a little sad. Having discovered Stray Kids and ATEEZ last May, I found this whole new world of happiness. I don’t feel as lonely as before. Although, one or two real life StayTiny friends to share my obsession with would be great. 😆 Anyway, I just love your reactions. They’re always so thoughtful and you have such a gentle personality. It really shines through! I feel like I’m watching with a friend. 🩵 I am loving your Stray Kids journey and you even introduced me to some dance practices I hadn’t seen before. I hope you enjoyed your first dive into ATEEZ enough that you continue down that road of discovery. I’ll be right there with you, should you decide to check out more of their stuff.
@Lyric113 thank u so much. Yes ATEEZ I'm going to dig deeper into. I know exactly what u mean about the friendship cause I too don't have friends as how u described it. It has been a struggle to accept but doing this channel and speaking to u all makes it easier
Without going into the details, I found myself in similair circumstances. Trying to distract myself, I took a flyer on a series about a ghost hotel that sounded interesting and I'd never seen a Korean drama, so I went what the hell and started watching "Hotel Del Luna." I fell almost instantly in love with IU, which led me to investigate her, discovered her music, then branched out to another group I heard was pretty good with the odd name of Blackpink, and that was it. Short version is Kpop/Kdramas pretty much saved me too. Unlike the stagnant western music scene, here was a music scene composed of smart, talented people sweating blood to become professional performers and many have succeeded. The music too was unlike anything in the west, mixing multiple genres and influences within single songs. I was stunned at how good the music was. Kpop has become the soundtrack of my life and kdramas my preferred entertainment. IU, Blackpink, and (G)I-dle are my reminders and inspirations never to give up no matter how bad it gets. IU, the Pinks, and Soyeon never gave up in the face of grim circumstances, so I'd kinda feel like a wimp compared to them if I did. So hurry up and get to (G)I-dle. Even in the electic world of Kpop, Soyeon and company are on a whole different level. Can't wait to hear what you think of them... I'l make one additional observation and that is Kpop led me to the realization that our fandom isn't a minor thing, but a powerful global force thanks to UA-cam. Ray Bradbury imagined a top-down future of entertainment, but instead UA-cam has created a global network of ordinary people sharing their passion for music and entertainment. A good chunk of my time is spent watching people react to new music, and it's pretty amazing. Hard-core black rappers watching in amazement as Soyeon raps at machine-gun speeds. Housewives discovering Blackpink. Even kids in high school coming on to talk about their favs. I pick up on a lot of new groups watching people react to them. I just think it's amazing that no matter where we are in the world, no matter that we'll never meet, we're still connected through UA-cam and our shared passion for the music. So, glad to meet ya...😊
@michaelmayo oh wow thank u for commenting. I find it amazing how K-POP means so much to people like it does to me. I fully prefer it than western music. You will love the IU video coming in less than 2 hours
@GingerT4U2 If it's IU, I'm in. I worship IU, no kidding. She was the stunning revelation that you could be rich and talented and still not be a complete asshole like many of our western artists. She suffered cold, hunger, and rejection, and not only didn't give up, but now uses her fame and money to help other people in Korea. She's who people should be but rarely are. Same with Soyeon. She was told she was too short, too ugly, and not talented enough to be an idol. Today, she leads a group that's not only commercially successful, but creatively ambitious; using Idle's commercial success to tackle subjects Kpop normally shys away from like gender roles, the pain and darkness of lost love, and women's empowerment. (They can also be completely goofy too with their "summer" songs like "Dumdi Dumdi" and "Klaxon." If you ever want to see people suffer artistic whiplash, just have someone go from "Lion" or "Hwaa" (Fire) to "Dumdi Dumdi" Nobody can believe the same group could do such different concepts and still kill it.) So, yeah, I'll be happily watching you...
@@michaelmayo I love reading your comments, the way you explain.. I want to look at (G)I-DLE as well and I think I have about 5 of there songs in my file which are all those that you mentioned plus Nxde. I'm not sure exactly when, but I do know that I will react to them too
Hey you, I can empathize with you so much, I lost my best friend in 2018. My world wasn't the same after that. It was as if I had lost everything. I was in a hole for a long time. Then in 2021 TxT came into my life and I found my motivation. It was Lovesong. A clip of Yeonjun when he says that he learned to dance by copying other cheographies and then developed his own style and has always improved and worked on himself. This gave me the strength to believe in my dream as an author again and in 2024, after many setbacks, I uploaded my first book to Ko-Fi. Even if it is not yet a success, I have vowed never to give up for her. I am also so glad to have found your channel. You make such natural and heartfelt reactions that I haven't seen before. Most people overreact to me personally. So TxT was my first Kpop group, followed by A.C.E and the Rose. Then came Onewe and at some point Stray kids, although I had difficulties getting started with Stray kids because I simply don't like many of their songs. That became a problem, but then I found Voices and it became my favorite song. But I have to be honest, Kpop is so much more. It's just stories and each group is special in its own way and everyone likes something different. But that's how it should be. Anyway, TxT has become my safe zone, when I'm feeling bad I watch clips from them and I feel better. I just promised myself that one day I would be successful with my books and then I can say I'm proud of myself, that's my goal, that one day I can say that to myself. That was it. Thanks for the little video and see you next time. Your Angel

Elas resolveram me introduzir no k-pop/j-pop e dramas para me animar.
