I learned that second finger spin move by doing it with ketchup bottles and then silverware when I was a server. It can be done with pretty much any thing you can find the center of balance on. Each bottle would be different depending on how full it was.

Ryukyu Karate uses KAMA as a weapon.
The people of Ryukyu were not able to possess a weapon by an order from the Edo Shogunate.
Therefore they used harness (Nunchaku), mowing KAMA as a weapon.
When a farmer caused a riot in Japan, they assumed Kama and the hoe which were their everyday tool a weapon.
Kama is Japanese, and there is not KAMA in Korean traditional tool.
I searched it in "Korean Kama".
However, I was able to find only "HOMI".
Homi is different from Kama in form.

Dang those things are lethal. I meteor hammer and this is scary compared to a 2lb wheight on a 13 lb chain. Just ordered a pair but will only toy with them cause we can all reference how lethal a mantis can be. This is a bad Mantis on roids.

Awesome tutorial on your Kama techniques. I was wondering what is the specific name of the Kama blades design and brand that you are using, if you do not mind me asking? I really like the spearhead on the end of the handle! 👍 ☺ ✌

I am a son of the Japanese farmer.
Therefore I use kama since I was a primary schoolchild.
However, the kama technique that he teaches people is a stage performance.
There is not it by the martial arts.
Of course. kama which he uses is only for a stage performance.

If this is the person who was used to kama, anyone can easily do it.
      Kama is common farming tool.
(in the elementary school, kama is had always ready as the science teaching materials for the child)
kama which he uses is a toy for fiction performances.
He attaches a Korean mark to an arm.
There is no such kama in old Korea.
This kama is reluctance of leaving of the Japanese times.
The modern Korean farmer seems to want kama made in Japan.

The single finger roll (last technique) really requires a good student to learn, because you have to know what you are doing wrong in order to fix it. Some common mistakes: other fingers sticking out and hitting the weapon as it's coming around (keep the other fingers tight to your palm), and going to slow or fast. The momentum of that move is really important and it's physically impossible to do "slow" but if you go too fast you'll end up just throwing the weapon which isn't right.

2 much flair. gonna get your self hurt messing around with real Kama's like that. fair warning. my first weapon in martial arts was the Kama and they were real. i was scared to death of them. we duct taped the blades and practiced. to anyone watching if your gonna do this use fake Kama's for your own sake. take care.

Vinh Nguyen only if you know nothing about real martial arts kamas. then sure moot away

ryan melius if you duct taped the Kamas does that make them not dangerous anymore?

    • @rym3165
      @rym3165 9 років тому +2

Vinh Nguyen Look the point is if you don't respect these weapons you'll hurt yourself really bad or worse. My Sensei told us a story of how one of his old students nicked his ear lobe and took it clean off. Showed us a picture of the guy and all.He didn't respect the weapon and that's what happens when you don't respect weapons.

Sai is the weapon which Chinese Buddhism monk used to arrest a thief.
However, in Buddhism monk, killing is prohibited by religious precepts.
Therefore Sai is not a weapon to murder a person.
In the Japanese chaitya, monk does not use Sai.
Sai as the Ninjya weapon is a lie.

KAMA which this person has is a modern creation not kama as farm tool.
In addition, the Korean traditional martial arts are only the things that a Korean copied all Japanese martial arts after WW2.
The Korean government supports their lie tradition history.
The Korean government led the lie history of Taekwondo from a beginning.
