My heart cried when the lady went searching for her sewing machine and fabric 😥 I know being a quilter/sewer that the fabric would be unusable because of the smell but hopefully the machine that I see that they found will be OK with a bit of TLC. I am a Senior Citizen and don't have a lot but if someone can guide me to the link to help, I am sure every little amount will help, even if it will just show us another one of their amazing smiles, true grit 👋

This takes me back to this summer when my neighbor's house burned down. They didn't recover many things. I am happy your friends fared a little better. So sorry also for their loss. Prayers for the days ahead. My neighbors didn't rebuild they spent ins money on a nice RV and plan to travel now (which they love) visiting children over the US they are in their retirement years and I think in a way it was a blessing in disguise for them. Sometimes it works out that way. God is good.

There's nothing more devastating than loosing everything you worked for in fire, old photos, sentimental items. Nothing can replace them, not even money. We lost our home when I was around 6 years old, you never recover from a loss like that. Prayers for your family, and I hope he blesses each and every one of you.

If your home is paid for and you dropped your insurance it's up to you. I would never ask your viewers to pay for it which is asking for a donation wether it's for a home, car, boat etc.

The plates that you left behind,that were In plate hangers are worth something. I sold that same plate at a garage sale for ten dollars each. So you left behind a minimum of a hundred bucks. If you are going to try and deal in sellable items.you must educate yourself. The teapot was cute but probably worth no more than a dollar. It seems like you are mainly diving for food, for yourself. And if that is what you choose to do, that’s your business, but don’t BS us about saving the landfill, donating etc.

The beginning of the video made me sad. It's not just about the personal belongings, that are gone, it's even those unrestorable memories that are gone forever. But the real memories are the ones that you keep in your heart. At least no one was hurt.

Seal broken candles in plastic bag and freeze. Broken glass will come right off. Put in another container and burn. Depending on brand, some of those candles are expensive. Yankee candles that size can cost up to $20.00 each.
Great Haul & loved watching the video. You guys are such a cute & funny couple. I have seen people with apps to check the value of items & you should have done that with those plates could have really been valuable. Those plates that had hangers for display were probably worth $ didn't get to see the plate or know what was on the bottom. The Magic Mesh keeps the bugs out if you live in an apartment that doesn't have a storm door & dogs & kids can run in & out without slamming a door it closes automatically. Those little porcilain trinkets things may be worth $ also look them up & kids little tea pot sets are worth $. You need a box or tote to put the trnkets & plates in to research them to see if worth money
Some floral shops will buy vases...the one where I used to live would give $.25 per vase and $.50 for nicer ones...it adds up and it saves them money as well as keeping them Out of the landfill at least that time around...
